Happy anniversary to this movie. This came out around the time I became obsessed with dinosaurs, but it wouldn’t be for another year until I got back into Thomas.
This movie legit almost made me cry, I really enjoyed Percy's development in this movie even if they throw it away in season 20, the new characters are fine all though I'd rather BoCo than Timothy, also anyone remember when a bio said that the "monster" would have a sloping boiler and so people thought the "monster" would be Culdee
I think this is a good Thomas movie it's better than King of the Railway, I already loved it when I first saw it when it came out, I actually like how Thomas and Percy's fallout is portrayed in this, it isn't all the happy sappy best friend crap from the hit and nitrogen era, here it feels more like a natural falling out, overall I'd rate this movie a 8/10, nice review dude
The scene where Cranky almost fell in the water got me sweating because I actually thought he was gonna topple over but luckily the captain stopped the ship before the big green crane probably met his doom
Your analysis of James as an antagonist reminds me: The Railway Series started out as a morality play, so in most of the early stories, the protagonist and antagonist was the same character. The protagonist acts rude or prideful, and then gets their comeuppance. Diesel was the first wholly antagonistic character, and his arrival starts the shift where the series gets darker and stops being timeless.
I honestly think tale of the brave is a good movie I had watched before when I was young but I’m now 14 and we’re in 2024 and I know some scenes are changed and added during that time
1. How have you been? 2. Love your videos and the content of yours 3. How is the SC Short coming along? 4. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you like the "The Tales of the Brave"?
@Carl1Tor8 1. I'm doing good thank you. 2. Thank you once again. 3. I'm gonna attempt to begin the episode next week since I'll be resuming school the following week after next week. 4. Pretty much the same as the rating that I gave the movie in my review.

@karenfan010 That's only applies to the Railway Series, but only barely. Percy is essentially a freelance design in television series, and he's been consistently identified as being the youngest of the main cast.
@@sammyclark4992 yeah a always noticed that tank engines are usually portrayed a children with a few exceptions such as stepney, duck, oliver and the narrow gauge engines, my theory is due to their smaller sizes their minds aren’t as developed as bigger engines however some do manage to gain more knowledge with experience like the ones who I just mentioned.
@joeythecat7482 Well, yeah, he started off that way when Reginald Dalby was illustrating him, then come John T. Kenny and Percy actually began to resemble an actual locomotive. But with Percy in the TVS being based off of Dalby's illustrations, it's easy to see Percy there as more of an original design. The same can also for engines 1-8 apart from Toby because they just barely resemble their real-life counterparts as well.

They both came out in 2014 and both are about the best friend of the main character becoming brave. Isabella is brave enough to tell Phineas that she has a crush on him while saving Danville from a pharmacist zombie apocalypse, and Percy is brave enough to discover the monster at the Clay Pits while saving James from a landslide." But she just attacked me and called Thomas "possessed demonic trains" and said I'm a problem! That hurt my feelings
I didn't actually re-watch the movie until after I finished making the review.
If there's any necessary advice. I think you should rewatch first before you do the review.
Thats great that I found this channel I haven’t watched you for years and now I’m back to watching you’re videos
I actually like how the movie ends with Let's Be Brave. That song always hyped me up when I heard it at the end when I was younger.
8:33 I Love James The Red Engine He’s One Of My Favorite Characters

Tale of the brave got me into Thomas as well as trackmaster at 1 YEAR OLD. Thanks grandpa :D

Great Movie. Enough Said.
16:05 I Give That 10/10
The scene where Cranky almost fell in the water got me sweating because I actually thought he was gonna topple over but luckily the captain stopped the ship before the big green crane probably met his doom
Same
since the clay pits are a major location in this film they kind of missed the opportunity to bring back boco and derek.

This movie is quite good featuring not only Percy, but Thomas and James were the three main characters since the previous one.

I think the worst part about this movie is that it was the catalyst for Thomas toys becoming more gimmicky and over the top

Awesome video.
I do not like jerky James in CGI. I love CGI James in Hero of The Rails the best because he's more like Edward.
I honestly feel like Thomas and Percy both share the role of the main protagonists while James is the former main antagonist
End of Martin Sherman and Ben small
Happy 10th anniversary to this movie
Big scary monster
My favorite Thomas movie
13:54 not to get technical percy is actually older then thomas and james, but I guess some engine just can’t act there age can they? lol.
