Like 6.3 is minimum crit rate substat and your not guaranteed to get crit rate on every piece and say u got crit rate now it's harder to get crit DMG. Even with the new echomancing tech. Like withthe weapon alone u can go 198 cdmg. Have a couple cdmg from subs u get like 230 maximum. Meanwhile with crit rate weapon u just need to slap on the crit rate cost 4 echo and sword and a 12 from susbstats and ur good to go on crit rate as rest of the pieces can have 4-5 cdmg substats value 15 or higher each making the same ratio but with easily accessible crit rate. Also the weapon only gives skill DMG bonus which isn't something spammable for Changli like Jinshi. Changli is more of basic attack user.
I'll go for the smart option, skip Changli weapon and go for Zhezhi for both Changli and Jinhsi, and I gain an extra character. But I'll try the 10 pulls that we got this patch in her weapon.
Along with readjustments for Changli and her sig, Zezhi is also said to have been reworked to only provide 14% reso skill dmg bonus on outro (albeit with 44% glacio damage now) making her a worse battery for chang/jinhsi but better for an ice DPS that relies on reso skill.
For specific content rotations like tower, it is a 11% buff depending on team mates and substats because youre already getting so much bonus damage percent from team mates. But in hologram fights and the over-world (specially in Solo content) youre basically comparing 4-56% (in 3 seconds) damage percent at a 9 second duration vs a permanent 12% ER. Since the ER costs have gotten lower, which is assumed to only need 115, you don’t even need to build that much ER anymore and just adjust your rotations. However you should only pull for weapons if you do truly want to main a character and not get the upcoming ones. For f2ps, i dont really advice to go for her weapon, but for spenders since we can guarantee it, go ham. The value of the weapon increases too if the 4 star weapons you get are the concerto generation series, which is a big deal for supports. Weapon banner is not as bad as genshn tho, so for players trying to snipe the weapon in like 30 pulls, it’s an insane value.

Changli Ultimate cost has been buff from 150 to 125. Her weapon stacks reset will be adjusted from 10 sec. to 12 sec. I think this is good ofc. better than nothin. XD
what do you mean by I think? it is absolutely crazy, the drop in the cost was needed so much, you must get Changi ult every rotation but with this high cost you need at least +135% ER if not more than 140% and so on you need u really good echos that has double crit, atk% and energy (which very hard, let alone you need some skill bonus or flat atk) that sometimes you need to throw good echo just to get the ER up, but now 115% is enough and for her sword, it also very much needed since 10s was low duration and you could easily lose it before doing the last forte
Not gonna sweat it still gonna pull for both cus im all about the design and characters i wanna pull and enjoy the game my way. That being said the vid gives good explanation and to those hardcore players good luck and may the battles ahead bring you victory.

Probably a little? But even if the weapon is now 12% or, at best, 13% stronger than EoG on Changli, it doesn't change the fact this is the limited weapon with the lowest value so far, relative to the standard counterpart. (Not because Changli's weapon is bad, but because EoG is the best standard weapon in the game, DPS-wise.) I think the only reasons to get Changli's weapon are 1) Aesthetics 2) Changli is your favorite character in the game, and you want to get her full potential even if that means skipping future characters and weapons 3) You are a big spender and can afford to get every limited weapon. That said, from a pure "efficiency" standpoint, I believe it's better to save your resources for future characters or more universally useful weapons, such as the Stringmaster.
yep, I have the standard sword on havoc rover already and if i use it on changli then my havoc rover will have a major dps loss, and she needs the ER stats anyway
Don"t have enough for changli, but I would drain my puny asterite for three weeks or until I get that weapon. I love how her weapon is like yinlin's, Usable by everyone. I don't have yinlin but my encore is breaking the game with her sig weapon.
i wouldnt agree to her weapon being as flexibel as yinlin. even yinlins weapon is mostly just good on her and encore. changlis weapon is really only for skill damage focused characters. emerald of genesis, now thats a flexibel weapon.

Even some of the other standard 5 star weapons are pretty niche, like the pistols have good substats for any character, but the effect itself is better for swapping characters like mortefi.

I have a really nice crit damage echo with max CD rolls so I'm going with the standard weapon. Instead I think I'm going to try to pull Xiangli Yao's weapon.
I don't like switching weapons around. I can definitely get Changli but not sure about her weapon. I'll try. Hopefully I won't regret skipping Jinhsi. Ugh.
Both of you skip Chang Li, wait for Scar or Camellya. Or the other units coming in. If you're waiting on stronger units, Jinshi was it. However, if you're not a Chang Li enjoyer, skip her for other units. Simple.
I did about 12 ten pulls and got Encore. I could get Jinhsi if I wanted. I have enough pulls. I'm just not sure. Changli just looks fun. But doubt she's as strong.
I'll wait for further calcs, but seeing the weapon passive, I am already 80% set on skipping. The better play would be to get the upcoming crit gauntlet (presumably) since we still don't have one available.

That's not true. If you do the most dumbed-down version of the damage formula yourself (Att × CR × CD) to find your average damage, you will see that crit rate is virtually always way more valuable than crit damage at the 1:2 ratio this game gives. CD is only better for units that are already getting lots of CR from other sources, like Jinhsi, who gets lots of CR from her weapon and her skill tree.
@@manuv8I’ve tested it in game I can add you in disc and show data I killed bosses way faster on all characters with more crit dmg weigh by like 10 to 20 percent faster cc enables you to crit but if you have less than 200% your gonna do a small number dps doesn’t matter when you kill the boss in 20 seconds…..

Why are the stats changing so much by sword basis? Like 4:20 why is emerald stats higher in crit dmg than sig, why emerald is nearly the same crit rate as "bare handed" even though emerald gives over 20% crit rate
@@fallingnao3919 substats and 4 cost main stats are balanced around each weapon. Sig loses a substat to Energy that emerald does not require due to its passive. You can download the sheet and see how the subs are distributed

Yinlin's weapon was pretty much broken because of the off-field buff. Thank you for opening my eyes to Changli's weapon. I had massively overestimated this weapon and I was thinking of skipping Changli and just get the weapon for my roster but it's not even that great. I still have my 5-Star weapon pack that I haven't opened yet so I'll get my second Emerald Genesis there. I can finally play my Danjin/Havoc Rover team.

I am 50 into weapon banner pity but I think I'll stop and start pulling for the stander banner weapon. Right now she sharing with rover. I like how I get her ult over and over and over again.
This was a very good analysis. Definitely saving the weapon banner pulls for our Lightning Lee since I already have Yinlin and his sig not only makes a huge difference, he is more of a selfish on-fielder anyways. So the difference is even greater unless you choose to main dps Changli.
I have 12.5k asterite and i only have 3 pity on 5 star banner on 50/50 (not guarantee) but im also planning pulling for her weapon despite having emerald genesis and the signature weapon pity is 35 and also on 50/50 the main question is... is it worth risking pulling both changli and her signature?

Still pulling the weapon for Danjin. I'd like to play double sword team and only have one emerald. Still feels better to have the variety over 2x emerald of genesis. Good video. I did get a bit of ptsd from not pulling yinlin's weapon and she doesn't feel good to play without it.
Thanks for the nice video and calcs. I'm still unsure but I think I will still go for weapon due to multiple reasons: - I have asterites for 130 pulls. Character banner is 43 pity with gurantee. Weapon is 10 pity with 18 pulls extra. And if we consider Xiangli is rumored to be first banner, I have more than enough pull for a few months. And btw, even if Xiangli not free, I'm not interested anyway. So not pulling if he is free or not. - My crit ratio becomes cursed with standard weapon. I have 70/240 crit ratio without any weapon. 1 to 2 ratio goes in here to but we have to remove 100% from crit damage. so my ratio is 70/140. If I use standard, it becomes 90/140. If I pull Changli weapon, it becomes 70/180. And I can keep resetting so crit rate has lower value. Even though that two weapon has same crit value, my situation is more towards Changli's weapon. - I don't have any proper weapon. My luck with weapons was pretty bad. I pulled a lot but If I remove standard sword, that I get from box, from my account, I literally don't have any weapon at all. And I'm using Danjin and HMC, and also I'm gonna main Changli in future. I can swap weapons in tower of advertisy, I know but I don't like it because I usually forget to swap back again. And since weapon is 100% gurantee no matter what. I think it's worth to get extra good weapon for my account. I wished that they kept 12% crit rate passive. It would be insane for Changli. I have no hope for it but still...
i just want to point out that this is not calculated with her def ignore and on that note i want to add that she can't be considered a real main dps without her s6 and i say that with a heavy heart cuz i really like her design
Yes, signature weapon is not mandatory (if you aim for DMG), but can't have a queen use a filthy stick to defend herself. I must do anything for every one of my girls.

Like main h.rover that has a pretty long liberation dmg output...for off field ch commando is better i have it on danjin so the dmg stays for the duration of crownless and ultimate and maybe a skill usage.. but danjin doesn't need that much energy regen..her ult is always up anyway now i have emerald on rover...so doubling on emerald of genesis will feel ineffective.. cos' i won't need the ult up quicker It's sad to see that a max rank purple it's still worse than a base tier legendary...bruh..w how u get purple weapons rn it's just making worse the weapon system...you can craft one each 2 weeks w rng from gated weekly bosses...nah Anyway i have 80ish polls and i'm using all on fire sword banner Peace

Verina and Baizhi outro does not give a damage increase like the bell, it simply gives a attack% increase

I did about 12 ten pulls and got Encore. I could get Jinhsi if I wanted. I have enough pulls. I'm just not sure. Changli just looks fun. But doubt she's as strong.

Weird that I was finally able to find the Xiangli weapon calcs in a changli video. Unexpected but appreciated.
I'll wait for further calcs, but seeing the weapon passive, I am already 80% set on skipping. The better play would be to get the upcoming crit gauntlet (presumably) since we still don't have one available.

shell be good without it but its a 20% increase or more the er/atk is one subsat worth of stats while 50% skill dmg is multiple substat rolls aswell as having the atk/ changli is 70% skill dmg so you didn't factor that, 50% skill dmg vs 12% er its a mile gap, also cd is more valuable than cc
cd doesnt really matter if u have low cc, cc always comes first for any traditional dps

That's not true. If you do the most dumbed-down version of the damage formula yourself (Att × CR × CD) to find your average damage, you will see that crit rate is virtually always way more valuable than crit damage at the 1:2 ratio this game gives. CD is only better for units that are already getting lots of CR from other sources, like Jinhsi, who gets lots of CR from her weapon and her skill tree.
@@manuv8I’ve tested it in game I can add you in disc and show data I killed bosses way faster on all characters with more crit dmg weigh by like 10 to 20 percent faster cc enables you to crit but if you have less than 200% your gonna do a small number dps doesn’t matter when you kill the boss in 20 seconds…..

Why are the stats changing so much by sword basis? Like 4:20 why is emerald stats higher in crit dmg than sig, why emerald is nearly the same crit rate as "bare handed" even though emerald gives over 20% crit rate
@@fallingnao3919 substats and 4 cost main stats are balanced around each weapon.
Sig loses a substat to Energy that emerald does not require due to its passive.

Yinlin's weapon was pretty much broken because of the off-field buff. Thank you for opening my eyes to Changli's weapon. I had massively overestimated this weapon and I was thinking of skipping Changli and just get the weapon for my roster but it's not even that great. I still have my 5-Star weapon pack that I haven't opened yet so I'll get my second Emerald Genesis there. I can finally play my Danjin/Havoc Rover team.

I am 50 into weapon banner pity but I think I'll stop and start pulling for the stander banner weapon. Right now she sharing with rover. I like how I get her ult over and over and over again.
This was a very good analysis. Definitely saving the weapon banner pulls for our Lightning Lee since I already have Yinlin and his sig not only makes a huge difference, he is more of a selfish on-fielder anyways. So the difference is even greater unless you choose to main dps Changli.

I have 12.5k asterite and i only have 3 pity on 5 star banner on 50/50 (not guarantee) but im also planning pulling for her weapon despite having emerald genesis and the signature weapon pity is 35 and also on 50/50 the main question is... is it worth risking pulling both changli and her signature?

Good video. I did get a bit of ptsd from not pulling yinlin's weapon and she doesn't feel good to play without it.
I don't give a damn if it's a good investment or not. It looks sick on her. That alone is more than enough.
Thanks for the nice video and calcs. I'm still unsure but I think I will still go for weapon due to multiple reasons:
- I have asterites for 130 pulls. Character banner is 43 pity with gurantee. Weapon is 10 pity with 18 pulls extra. And if we consider Xiangli is rumored to be first banner, I have more than enough pull for a few months. And btw, even if Xiangli not free, I'm not interested anyway. So not pulling if he is free or not.
- My crit ratio becomes cursed with standard weapon. I have 70/240 crit ratio without any weapon. 1 to 2 ratio goes in here to but we have to remove 100% from crit damage. so my ratio is 70/140. If I use standard, it becomes 90/140. If I pull Changli weapon, it becomes 70/180. And I can keep resetting so crit rate has lower value. Even though that two weapon has same crit value, my situation is more towards Changli's weapon.
- I don't have any proper weapon. My luck with weapons was pretty bad. I pulled a lot but If I remove standard sword, that I get from box, from my account, I literally don't have any weapon at all. And I'm using Danjin and HMC, and also I'm gonna main Changli in future. I can swap weapons in tower of advertisy, I know but I don't like it because I usually forget to swap back again. And since weapon is 100% gurantee no matter what. I think it's worth to get extra good weapon for my account.
I wished that they kept 12% crit rate passive. It would be insane for Changli. I have no hope for it but still...

and on that note i want to add that she can't be considered a real main dps without her s6 and i say that with a heavy heart cuz i really like her design

Yes, signature weapon is not mandatory (if you aim for DMG), but can't have a queen use a filthy stick to defend herself. I must do anything for every one of my girls.

Idk if you are going to read this..but personal feedback the sword tab chart is messed up...lunar cutter is way better than commando of conviction for on field char. Like main h.rover that has a pretty long liberation dmg output...for off field ch commando is better i have it on danjin so the dmg stays for the duration of crownless and ultimate and maybe a skill usage.. but danjin doesn't need that much energy regen..her ult is always up anyway now i have emerald on rover...so doubling on emerald of genesis will feel ineffective.. cos' i won't need the ult up quicker
