I have been doing 720 front flips as my best trick for like 3 years now. My body could not do back flips at all. Using your technique and using legs as a rotating point was the most helpful basic step that allowed me to do backflips. I have landed a 360 backflip as of 4/15/2013. I use this to remind myself of bending the neck and keeping form. You are a god

Some of the best advice on the backflip ive seen here in the land of RUclips. I dont see any other videos saying to thrust your hips forward and keep your head straight. Using your arms and legs to do the rotation. (not head and shoulders)

I am very happy to see this tutorial. I did a back flip into a swimming pool, but that's the safest I felt doing a backflip and thanks to you I have a better way to train myself. I study Taekwondo martial arts and being better at backflips will also make me a better martial artist.

All be it old... This has got to be the best instructional/formal video tutorial on a backflip that is on youtube... This seems to be an actual acrobat that knows wtf he is doing... Looks very easy when he does it and with the tips he gave us in the video it seems we all can do it that easilly.
I applaud you Bruno for the superb masterful instruction one of the best acrobatic instructions on you tube.

It is so hard at first how to roll over on the carpet. I have to rewind the video for slow motion until I memorized it and master it then the high jump maybe later on I could do backflip just keep on practice. Thank you for the video this is the best guide for backflip.

But I got a role in the school play that would be WONDERFULLY complemented if I knew how to do a backflip during the dance battle scene!
I have until June. But of course, I know my limits. I'm going to start jumping around things at school starting first thing tomorrow! If I don't get this by June, I'm just going to accept it and do the dance battle with 80s moves!

bro,thanks. i did it in about 30 minutes. i also did it in capoeira class like 10 times. i think i am good now. can't wait to do it during soccer game after i score.
