Muhd Zulkarnain if u will be scared for ever u won't do it and you'll keep dreaming but dreams will not come true if you did'nt work hard and tried your best
Go to a *gymnasium* or anywhere with *_mats_* , _trampolines mod your jump_ , so I *wouldn't* recommend using them to _learn flips_ if you're planning on ever _flipping without a trampoline_ , ( good to *practice moving your body in mid air* though ). I'd recommend learning at *_normal jump hight_* . Simply _tuck_ and _jump_ and use *all your weight* to spin and try to land on your *_back or butt_* , *avoid your head at all costs* , but it should be _safe on mats_ . As for the *neck* , it's *not that dangerous* , if you land funny on your neck, chances are *_it wont hurt or break or anything_* due to your _head and shoulders_ protecting it. _Overall it's not anywhere as painful as you expect it to be_ , *Just don't land on your head* . ( _Its natural for your brain to imagine the worst case scenario_ )
love your videos man, random and quite awesome, took me only an hour to learn how to do both front and back flip! Still trying to get the roundoff & backflip, but practice makes perfect!
hello there, nice video you have,i do the backflip with the tutorial u gave me,and i stopped landing with my head, thanks to you..haha but now my problem is i always landing with my knee..any solution?
oh yeah never thought of that! and do you think if i can do it on a mattress that i'd be fine trying it flat ground? And thanks for answering so quickly :)
The gymnastics approach to roundoff+back-tuck that I learned is to keep the arms UP after the roundoff, then along with driving your knees up, you can meet halfway and grab your knees when they get to your chest. This should reflect how a standing back-tuck relies on the arm swing to get some upwards momentum, and then the knees meet halfway as well. Just an FYI, other than that, thanks for the inspirational vid!
Throwing your head back may make it seem easier, but it actually makes you spin more slowly... aerodynamics and all. You want to jump as high as possible, overextend your shoulders on the reach (like a "c") and get into a tight tuck. Keeping your chin down is scarier but it helps. Thanks for the vid :)
i'm sort off ''full-bodied-type-of-guy''. can i still do backflip. in my childhood i can do backflip so easily but when i'm 20 years old can i still do that? i'm scared because i can't do without trainer. is there any tips from you?
Anyone can backflip, it's 99 percent commitment, if you commit you can get around:) the older you get the harder it is to flip, but I know plenty of people who are in their 30s and can backflip.
@EXOcontralto Nice tutorial...too bad i did it 2 times and the 3rd i tried off something and landed on my shoulder...omg it still hurts but the good part is that i have broke any bone.Do you have a sideflip tutorial..?
Hey man, I'm a gymnastics coach and for your further reference make sure you actually bring your arms all the way up to straight above your head then bring them down to grab your knees, that way you will get even higher and won't have as much of a chance of landing on your head!
Thx man, you're awesome. I watch your video's very many times of being sure of what i'm doing. I can do a front flip already, 180-front flip. Now backflip. You're great ; )
But I don't have time to grab my legs mid air... I tried to backflip last year on the beach (twice) and landed with my legs tucked in while I was still holding on to my legs and I injured my toe which I still feel today (got a turf toe). What do you think I'm doing wrong?
i think from the round off to the backflip itll be easier to put ur arms up to get u more height and a comfortable rotation and spot for landing, but doing whatever works for u is good :)
please reply. how can u get rid of the fear of being upside down? i can land backflips on a trampoline, but when it comes to the ground im like paralized of being upside down :/
ah kinda weird that it works with your arms at your side but okay :D as a trickster i have to recommend bringing your arms all the way up after a round off and at the peak start to tuck. this will give you the chance to get much more height and to do it piked or straight
nice vid bro but I think your round off needs a little touch up. when you run into your round off put your hands in front of you as you set up to place your hands instead of having your arms already set in the round of position. by doing this you will increase your speed and stability of it whilst going into the back flip.
@EXOcontralto dude this helped sooo much i kept landing on my stomach or even sometimes my face lmfao. But then i found your video and i can now always land a PERFECT backflip thanks bro. U get a subscribe
it's because he looks back the whole time. you're actually supposed to look at an object in front of you before you meet the peak of your jump. Then once you can't see that point anymore. You look back and tuck as hard as you can. It actually does make you go straight back because your initial jump isn't messed up by how you look backwards.
hey, i can do a backhand spring on the ground but not the back tuck, i try to tuck but i am never able to jump high enough and start to jump backwards when i lean back. i am just not sure how to jump up and go into a back tuck
In the round back flip, or back tuck, shoot your arms up instead of at your sides going into the back flip. Trust me, it will make you go much higher! I myself, cannot go very high in a round off back flip even extending my arms, but my standing one is pretty good. But I know many people that got a higher flip when shooting the arms up instead of keeping them at your side.
@SirCuriosity calm down, she's right he is sloppy, but I do parkour and that is definitely not how I would teach someone, but this guy is still doing a complete backflip, so props!
@Magnadude22 Do some back handsprings on the ground first. That will get you used to being upside down without the trampoline. Not sure why, but it feels different. I had the same problem, too. Take it slow and don't rush. You'll get it.
thanks that help alot! but i do some mistakes when landing *think too much about tuck and forget to bring the strenght back.. lol =)) but thanks anyway :)
well... yes, yes I can. but as you pointed out I haven't uploaded any videos of myself; mainly cause I don't need the shallow appreciation of strangers to fuel my tiny ego and also you need to physically be in the same room as someone to teach them back tucks so you can gauge what they're doing wrong and right to help them, one of the main thing's you're doing wrong is not using your arms they're stopping by your waist, whereas if you let them continue up, they're help the movement a lot more.

Tighter tucks! Glad I could help out!!!!
hello there, nice video you have,i do the backflip with the tutorial u gave me,and i stopped landing with my head, thanks to you..haha
but now my problem is i always landing with my knee..any solution?
i have done standing backflips on a gymnastics floor. do you think i should try one on the ground?
Awesome man! I'll go check them out right now :)
oh yeah never thought of that! and do you think if i can do it on a mattress that i'd be fine trying it flat ground? And thanks for answering so quickly :)

do i need to learn a back handspring first? how long does it take to learn? should i learn a frontflip first i thought the backflip was easier.
i'm sort off ''full-bodied-type-of-guy''. can i still do backflip. in my childhood i can do backflip so easily but when i'm 20 years old can i still do that? i'm scared because i can't do without trainer. is there any tips from you?

i want to try it in my bed but im afraid to land on my neck. should i give it a try? is this hurt when i land on my neck on the bed or couch?
Now that's what I'm talking about! Way to go :)
in your opinion what do u think is easyier back flips or font
@EXOcontralto
Nice tutorial...too bad i did it 2 times and the 3rd i tried off something and landed on my shoulder...omg it still hurts but the good part is that i have broke any bone.Do you have a sideflip tutorial..?
should i do my backflip like when u swing your arms should i close my fist? or open my hands? im use to closing my hands than open tuck
Hey man, I'm a gymnastics coach and for your further reference make sure you actually bring your arms all the way up to straight above your head then bring them down to grab your knees, that way you will get even higher and won't have as much of a chance of landing on your head!
Way to go bro! That's what I like to hear!!!!!! :D
@ndsboy888 - No not yet, but I'll be purchasing a wide angle & fisheye lens this summer! =)
Thx man, you're awesome. I watch your video's very many times of being sure of what i'm doing. I can do a front flip already, 180-front flip. Now backflip. You're great ; )
I'm just wondering are backflips on trampolines just as easy as backflips off a diving board?
so on what did you do it first?
like just on the grass or soming?
thx
What should i do i memorized every word but when im about to try it i get scared i can do a back flip on the trampoline what should i do
@EXOcontralto Hi, great vid you made.Do you think its possible for me to learn this without any help?
I don´t know how good are you at this, but i´m sure you have a incredible ability to teach. Great videos dude!
im scared to do the round off part coz I have a bad round off form...any tips my mate?
if you land wrong like I did is it normal for your spine to be sticking out the top of your head?
what about leaning backwards or does it matter how high you jump?
is landing it on a mattress the same as on ground?
I seriously love your tutorials. They are really cleared explained out. Subscribed and liked :D
Almost - It's a good start!
Way to go my man! Score!!!!!!!!
@EXOcontralto Great tutorial, but you need to use your arms more! It really helps your height in both the standing, and roundoff backflip
dude! is it true if you just tuck in you going to flip over??
Sure does bro! GET AT IT!
if i can do a round off back flip on a spring floor can i do one grass? BTW thanks for the video it helped me a lot :)
dude, is it harder for tall paeople to do flips, cuz im 6 foot and ive been at it for a couple days and i still cant get it
But I don't have time to grab my legs mid air... I tried to backflip last year on the beach (twice) and landed with my legs tucked in while I was still holding on to my legs and I injured my toe which I still feel today (got a turf toe). What do you think I'm doing wrong?
I saw you on another vido lol
i think from the round off to the backflip itll be easier to put ur arms up to get u more height and a comfortable rotation and spot for landing, but doing whatever works for u is good :)
Hell yeah man - It's not too bad!
dude i've been looking at backflip vids for years but you made it look easy
please reply.
how can u get rid of the fear of being upside down? i can land backflips on a trampoline, but when it comes to the ground im like paralized of being upside down :/

Again, great video! Im not able to do it yet, but at least now i know how!!:)thanks mate!

Thank You So Much! =)
I'm glad I could be apart of your first backflip!
Dude you make it look so simple.Awesome!
Keep at it, you can do it!
I tried it and I did it on my first try thanks for that RUclipsr!!!!
I can do it off of things and on the ground but on the ground i always land with my hands. Any advice
@EXOcontralto dude this helped sooo much i kept landing on my stomach or even sometimes my face lmfao. But then i found your video and i can now always land a PERFECT backflip thanks bro. U get a subscribe
Very true - Just center yourself a bit more, and commit to the rotation 100%!
is a round off backflip easyer or harder than standing? i can do a standing :P
More so your neck and spine - Like a curl or tuck backward with your built up momentum.
Sweet man! I love doing those :P
Thanks =)
Just keep tryin!
do u have to have any experience with gymnastics or can any1 do it
it's because he looks back the whole time. you're actually supposed to look at an object in front of you before you meet the peak of your jump. Then once you can't see that point anymore. You look back and tuck as hard as you can. It actually does make you go straight back because your initial jump isn't messed up by how you look backwards.

Might, and will are VERY different things! Have faith and stay positive that you will land it - 90% of all this IS MENTAL!!!!!
which is easier frontflip or backflip cause i wanna learn the easier
hey exocontralto i got the tucking part down i just gotta get around what should i do please commit back
@SirCuriosity calm down, she's right he is sloppy, but I do parkour and that is definitely not how I would teach someone, but this guy is still doing a complete backflip, so props!
Keep it up bro!!!
Way to go bro!!!
Thanks for coming back to watch it again :)
yo exo how come i still keep practising i cant do the round off got any
tips
That would be easier! Good thinking
Well , i love to do backflips but i never do it cz im afraid ill fall on my neck and snap it
could it happen ? plz reply
how long did it take u to learn
@Magnadude22 Do some back handsprings on the ground first. That will get you used to being upside down without the trampoline. Not sure why, but it feels different. I had the same problem, too. Take it slow and don't rush. You'll get it.
You'll be fine - It's all about following through!
what's easier to learn backflips for front? im trying to learn it for breakdancing :3
Thanks for the insights :P
@EXOcontralto dude, i wish i had a voice like yours. its awesome.

Thanks Man! That's what I was going for :)
Great vid thanks! Also your voice is awesome, you sound like you'd be a great voice actor.
thanks that help alot!
but i do some mistakes when landing *think too much about tuck and forget to bring the strenght back.. lol =))
but thanks anyway :)
WAY TO GO!

Just a little more height and rotation and you'll get it! Remember to tuck with all your might too!!
hey men ur a great teacher u really know how to talk and explain good job bro
This was a very good tutorial. Thank you.
do you have to be really muscular? i mean im not like fat im just skinny with a bit of muscle.
