      I feel like my phone is getting hot, next to my underwear, even when I've even got all the apps (supposedly) closed.
      The battery drains faster than my note 10+, AND the mandatory 5G (per Verizon model instead of Samsung direct) isn't even faster than 4G, in a very metropolitan area.

    Samsung could've easily created a thermal dissipating case in addition to all of the thermal features they worked on. They could've made the entire case a heat sink and release a slip on case that transfers even more heat and have like little holes to ventilate all the heat. Im shocked that they haven't done that yet

    Good to see that Samsung seems to have settled on the s22 series with something they like. This reminds me of the S8 to S9. The s21 and especially 20 were a bit Rockey but I think this is a winner. Hopefully Samsung doesn't try to change for the sake of it again (still think they should have stuck with the s8/9 note8/9 for a few years then come out with the s21 design) If they focus on making it better without a full redesign every time hopefully they can avoid having their phones cost 200 more than apple's

    You have the most in depth review of a flag ship samsung phone from any other youtuber out there. You got a insta-sub from me.

    Man Samsung went all in with cooling for this phone, maybe it's gonna have decent thermals this time. Thanks for the video!
    Haven't seen this much graphite in a phone yet lol.

      Once the motherboard and battery is removed, is the whole inner frame made of metal? I meant the pink colored frame.

    Hey, 2 questions.
    I recently dropped my phone and,
    1. The screen has a huge crack, so do i have to replace the entire module (including the frame) or can i do it for cheaper by just replacing main screen? When i visited the samsung center they are quoting me for the former.
    2. My Rear Camera is not working, is it possible that it is just a cable gone loose, or is it damage to the module?
    Thanks!

    Thank you for the video, it's terrific. I was trying to pop the sim card out, and put the remover tool in the hole in the top, instead of the bottom, before I figured it out. Did I ruin anything? :-(

    Very well done video. Did you say the front facing camera is glued to the frame? What would be the easiest way to take off that camera without the full fram disassembly?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 года назад +1

      Ya it has a rubberized glue they use for keeping it water resistant. You can still heat it up and pry it off but there is a good chance the existing camera will get damaged so if your replacing it, there are no worries 😀

    There is no need to have physical sim card tray as we already have esim chip on these high end phones. Better to remove sim tray and put back Memory Card slot as we need more space to store 4k & 8k videos + pics snapped through 108 MP camera.

    Thank you for doing this because I'm considering getting this as my main phone so I'm doing an in depth research to find out as much as possible about it and this helped a lot! Is that one unlocked or for a specific carrier? I'm not sure if I want the unlocked one or the Verizon one, because the unlocked one comes in a really beautiful red.

    • @j.ballsdeep420
      @j.ballsdeep420 2 года назад

      Verizon is TECHNICALLY unlocked but you still get a ROM that has preloaded Verizon apps you can't uninstall but can disable in make non-visible; that said it can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get all your proper settings applied if you have non-Verizon software but not impossible. As 5mm wave is included with unlocked, might be best to go unlocked for resale value.

    Great video, clean and really informative. I have one question if you can help me: I have by accident put sim card needle in microphone opening instead of sim card hole, was not paying attention I guess. I pushed little bit harder and I think I moved something, but mic is working. Can you tell me did I move rubber seal or actual mic, as I can not zoom enough when you removed bottom mic plate. Basically can you tell me in what my sim needle hit in that mic hole :) Thank you!

    • @majiktripz
      @majiktripz 2 года назад

      Your fine. There's nothing you can damage by accidentally inserting the sim removal tool into the wrong hole. Phone manufacturers have pretty much made these phones nowadays idiot proof.

    Is it possible to completely remove the 5G antenna in the Samsung S23 or any other top level phone, or at least disable it assuming that it's separate from the 4g antenna (yes I am aware that one can simply turn it off in the connections settings).
    Thank you for your excellent work and hopefully, answering my question, Brian
