I feel like my phone is getting hot, next to my underwear, even when I've even got all the apps (supposedly) closed. The battery drains faster than my note 10+, AND the mandatory 5G (per Verizon model instead of Samsung direct) isn't even faster than 4G, in a very metropolitan area.

Samsung could've easily created a thermal dissipating case in addition to all of the thermal features they worked on. They could've made the entire case a heat sink and release a slip on case that transfers even more heat and have like little holes to ventilate all the heat. Im shocked that they haven't done that yet

Good to see that Samsung seems to have settled on the s22 series with something they like. This reminds me of the S8 to S9. The s21 and especially 20 were a bit Rockey but I think this is a winner. Hopefully Samsung doesn't try to change for the sake of it again (still think they should have stuck with the s8/9 note8/9 for a few years then come out with the s21 design) If they focus on making it better without a full redesign every time hopefully they can avoid having their phones cost 200 more than apple's

I didn't see a vibration motor in the main housing, but it looks like the incorporated it into the lower speaker bracket based on the two additional contacts. It makes sense since they needed to make room for that stylus.

The screen has a huge crack, so do i have to replace the entire module (including the frame) or can i do it for cheaper by just replacing main screen? When i visited the samsung center they are quoting me for the former. 2. My Rear Camera is not working, is it possible that it is just a cable gone loose, or is it damage to the module? Thanks!

Ya it has a rubberized glue they use for keeping it water resistant. You can still heat it up and pry it off but there is a good chance the existing camera will get damaged so if your replacing it, there are no worries 😀
There is no need to have physical sim card tray as we already have esim chip on these high end phones. Better to remove sim tray and put back Memory Card slot as we need more space to store 4k & 8k videos + pics snapped through 108 MP camera.

Is that one unlocked or for a specific carrier? I'm not sure if I want the unlocked one or the Verizon one, because the unlocked one comes in a really beautiful red.
Verizon is TECHNICALLY unlocked but you still get a ROM that has preloaded Verizon apps you can't uninstall but can disable in make non-visible; that said it can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get all your proper settings applied if you have non-Verizon software but not impossible. As 5mm wave is included with unlocked, might be best to go unlocked for resale value.

I have one question if you can help me: I have by accident put sim card needle in microphone opening instead of sim card hole, was not paying attention I guess. I pushed little bit harder and I think I moved something, but mic is working. Can you tell me did I move rubber seal or actual mic, as I can not zoom enough when you removed bottom mic plate. Basically can you tell me in what my sim needle hit in that mic hole :) Thank you!
Your fine. There's nothing you can damage by accidentally inserting the sim removal tool into the wrong hole. Phone manufacturers have pretty much made these phones nowadays idiot proof.
Is it possible to completely remove the 5G antenna in the Samsung S23 or any other top level phone, or at least disable it assuming that it's separate from the 4g antenna (yes I am aware that one can simply turn it off in the connections settings). Flex cable from main to sub board wasnt attached well, I pressed on it a bit hard on sub board side attachment, then phone shut down and never turn on. Did I damage the subboard? What could be the cause I didnt see anything break

Man the battery is glued, made in such a way that only an experienced technician can remove it and replace it. Why doesn't anyone complain about this?

I would have shown the vibrator motor but its sealed in the speaker housing and I didn't want to break it open just yet. :)
You should include which version you arr tearing because exynos and sd is different in some component. Jerryrigs still better

There is no need to have physical sim card tray as we already have esim chip on these high end phones. Better to remove sim tray and put back Memory Card slot as we need more space to store 4k & 8k videos + pics snapped through 108 MP camera.
I mean, you can get a TB of onboard storage....

Thank you for doing this because I'm considering getting this as my main phone so I'm doing an in depth research to find out as much as possible about it and this helped a lot! Is that one unlocked or for a specific carrier? I'm not sure if I want the unlocked one or the Verizon one, because the unlocked one comes in a really beautiful red.
Verizon is TECHNICALLY unlocked but you still get a ROM that has preloaded Verizon apps you can't uninstall but can disable in make non-visible; that said it can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get all your proper settings applied if you have non-Verizon software but not impossible. As 5mm wave is included with unlocked, might be best to go unlocked for resale value.

Great video, clean and really informative. I have one question if you can help me: I have by accident put sim card needle in microphone opening instead of sim card hole, was not paying attention I guess. I pushed little bit harder and I think I moved something, but mic is working. Can you tell me did I move rubber seal or actual mic, as I can not zoom enough when you removed bottom mic plate. Basically can you tell me in what my sim needle hit in that mic hole :) Thank you!
Your fine. There's nothing you can damage by accidentally inserting the sim removal tool into the wrong hole. Phone manufacturers have pretty much made these phones nowadays idiot proof.

Is it possible to completely remove the 5G antenna in the Samsung S23 or any other top level phone, or at least disable it assuming that it's separate from the 4g antenna (yes I am aware that one can simply turn it off in the connections settings).

Flex cable from main to sub board wasnt attached well, I pressed on it a bit hard on sub board side attachment, then phone shut down and never turn on. Did I damage the subboard? What could be the cause I didnt see anything break
