I love your videos.😂😂 You said you get a right one and a left one. I spit my tea out and said a pair 😂😂 I use a lot of harbor freight items in my sewing room 😂
I have a food cutter set that comes with lots of sharp attachments. It came with a super strong, cut free glove to wear. So if anyone has one of those, it would work too!!
Another suggestion: I bought (from Harbor Frieght, but you can get them lots of places) a shower grab bar with suction cups and "attached" it to the quilt ruler I use with my rotary cutter. Then fingers aren't near the rotary blade! Also, my son was using a rotary cutter for a project at school and nearly cut his finger off a few years ago, too! 4 stitches later...
I’m one of those who need the gloves. Cooking I’ve cut my fingers several times. Visited ER several times. My family freaks when I pick up a knife. A couple of months ago I was talking with a couple of sewist while cutting batting with my rotary cutter. I sliced my finger open. Almost to the bone. 9 stitches later and a couple of scared friends all that is left is a scar. Now no TikTok lives while cutting. 😊
I was looking for a metal yard stick. Almost ordered from Amazon, but my husband said to check harbor freight & I got a deal! $6.99 for a 48" aluminum ruler. About half the price or less than anywhere else! Who would have known!?!
I know 3 people that have cut the side or tip of the their fingers off with a rotary blade. I have nicked my hands more times than I can count. The gripper handles that keep your hands above the ruler dont work for me bc of shoulder issues. But these gloves just might be the ticket!!! Have to see if they come extra small also, as my 10yr old daughter wants to be able to cut her own fabric. Thanks!!!
Lord I learned the hard way to keep my fingers out of the way of my rotary cutter…yep cut the side right off my pointer finger. Should have gotten stitches but eh battle scars! Lol

I can vouch for these gloves! I speak from experience. Almost cute my index finger off when I was first learning to cut. It's good advice.

Seriously need these for my daughter who DID cut a big chunk out of the end of her finger with a rotary cutter. 😮😅😂
I have cut my finger but I put a thimble on that finger lol

Can you change your blade wearing these gloves. Changing my blade is the scariest part of using a rotary cutter. TNKS
Absolutely!
Can you demo the blade change please?
😂😂❤️
