Good video but I found it much easier to remove the outer shell section from the machine and attack it from the front while upright. Tipping it on it's side did help me assess the problem as I could see and rotate the coupler and find the damage. When I called to order the part they told me not to leave it on it's side, for what it's worth. (older model 110). There's a "Kenmore 110 washer disassembly video that helped me avoid your "Choice Words". :)
Most youtube DIY fixit producers never think to pull the camera back for perspective.. They always jump to the close-up like their eyeballs take up the rest of the space in the room I came here trying to find out if the motor & pump assembly will be facing the front of the machine, a circa 1991 model 110, direct drive.. I can't tell here. If I ever figure it out, and it is in front, I'm cutting a door into the goddamn housing, with hinges and a latch, to make it a lot easier to get at some piece of crap stuck in the pump that's making it squeal and whine. I bought my 110 in 1992 and the only thing that has happened to it was the lid switch and the plastic control knob got old and brittle and would just spin on the shaft. I came here to get a glimpse of the bottom because I need to replace the suspension springs and I want to do it from the bottom because it's hard to disassemble the washer.
Same year I bought mine new. Just stopped emptying this morning! Never been serviced. Never had a problem. Called Sears and made a Monday appt. They could have come tomorrow if I hadn't had a previous appt.
Mine is from mid 90s and it'll just keep agitating (won't drain, spin) and im trying to fix it! I REALLY don't want a new one 🤣 idc the cost ...just hate new washers
@@firealarmtechguy4444 ty! I'll look into that! I know the lid switch is working. If I mess with the knob after a few times it'll spin/drain. I didn't think of the timer !

Did you attempt to remove drain pump from motor?
Do you have one of the belt change?
No other videos on this machine. It has worked well since repair and there are plans to renovate and replace the machines in the near future.
Hi, do you fix washers machine?
Was doing laundry today, and the machine stop working😣😳
No I'm just a professional home owner. Like doing things myself. Hope you find some one.

I have a 110 Kenmore, on certain cycles it keeps going off balance.

Nice video
I’m wondering if this model has any sort of filter?
It would have been easier to just remove the pump.
