I would never have thought to use such a pale yellow and pink in an industrial-styled interior but it works wonderfully here, and contrasts with the much stronger colours in the art works. Thanks for sharing
How refreshing to modulate the pastels on different surfaces, to play with light and openings, to use windows as artwork and to include the father’s personal creations as the main wall decor. I adore the playfulness of this geometric space!
Thank you for your comment! I appretiate it! I love the beautiful and nuanced shades of colors in the design as well, so satisfying to look at. All the best and see you soon x
I could move right into this cool space and not want to change one thing or move anything around. The pastel tones of the walls are incredibly harmonious with the large scale paintings created in bolder shock colors. The bath is just so fabulous with that subtile mint sink and the specialized tiles that become cups or resting places for objects that would otherwise clutter a nice clean area. I will definitely put this in my design file for future restorations of our own home‼️❤️

My favorite part of this Copenhagen Eclectic Scandinavian Apartment tour was YOUR engaging presence. You "segued" (moved without stopping) into every nook and cranny of this "Hygge" apartment seamlessly. Your description of colors, complimentary features and pivots of comfortable design provided us (the viewer) a magnificent architectural delight. Perfection. Chef's Kiss💋
Thank you so much for your kind words. Means a lot to me! I’m glad you liked the apartment and the presentation :) there’s still a lot to learn and iterate but I really appreciate the support. See you soon xx
I love it too! I think Lofts can often be a bit intimidating for people because you have to make so much furniture work in a single room and have so many more things to think about - this one is particularly great!
Very beautiful. The style is my thing.. the lamp in the kitchen is my favorite. Only thing that I think should be more practical is I still prefer a door for the bedroom…it feels a bit like a cave without a closed door watched by animals outside
Hi Jane, this is a nice video and a great loft! Thank you for sharing it with us. I fell in love with the lamp on the bedroom ceiling! I would love to buy one for myself. It looks like Louis Poulsen PH5, but which colour-Name ist it? Is it with brass? and with a lilac colour? I couldn`t find it in the internet. It would be so so lovely to hear from you. Thank you so much in advance. Greets and regards from Düsseldorf in Germany! 💖Corinna
Hey Corinna, thank you so much for your kind words :) I will ask the owners about the lamp and let you know, I can imagine that its a custom lamp though because a lot of things in the apartment are custom. Greetings from Hamburg! Jane
@@Interior_Insights_ Hi Jane, oh that would be so great! I didn`t know that Louis Poulsen makes customized lamps. Fantastic, but probably very expensive. I just loooooove the colour-combination so much 💖 Have a nice evening! love, Corinna
@@Interior_Insights_ Hello Jane, thank you so much! Do you know which colour it was? And how do you strip it? I would really love to do that too ... regards Corinna
Nice video - but to call Christianshavn "a really cool and upcoming neighborhood" could't be more wrong - it's actually completely the opposite. Christianshavn is an old classic with almost only "older" buildings. And one of the most expensive and desirable places in Copenhagen :)
the furniture is not Scandinavian however it's common in Denmark to mix pops of quite bright colors with white walls especially in art , it's a myth that Scandinavian is beige and grey , it cn be but it depends on the trend and the person and colors like blue and red have always been quite popular
I mean nuanced in the sense that there isn’t a strickt color palette of 2 or 3 colors that are repeated again and again, but there are so many different colors in play
“ (…) upcoming neighborhood”? This is one of the most expensive areas to live in in Cph. There is absolutely nothing up and coming about christianshavn.

Yellow and pink seem like feminine and gentle colors and I think it’s the contrast that makes them work so well in this rough ish loft
I love the pale yellow and pink palette. So good.
Me too!
Great work as always, cool space for sure.

The artwork is gorgeous! And I love the colours of the linen on the bed...in fact the whole place is fantastic!

Niceee, glad to see the channel growing!

"Up and coming"!? Christianshavn has been one of the most expensive and sought after neighbourhoods for decades. Also the most touristy.
Appreciate your correction! I’m not from Copenhagen and I heard it was upcoming somewhere - sorry :)
agreed!!!!!! Christianhavn was trendy, cool and expensive way before all other places in Copenhagen
really really cool :)
Thank you
Beautiful space - no need to talk so much throughout- silence is ok and the design speaks for itself
Thank you :)
Amei tua casa 🎉❤

beautiful space! where is the white lamp in the bedroom from?
Let me ask :)
@@Interior_Insights_ thank you so much!
@@dontatme319 hello :) apparently it’s from Le Corbusier, called Nemo Lamp de Marseille. Good luck :))

Hey :) I finally know what it is . It IS a PH5 But you can´t buy it like that. It is stripped from paint but the purple part is kept normal.

Hey Corinna :) I think you will be able to find a lot of information on this in the Interet :) And i believe the color was purple! Good Luck!
hej, i haven't really catch the name of swedish tiles brand for the bathroom. would you be able to link it?
Hey ;) great question! It’s called D-tile (like detail) ✨
They are Dutch not Swedish - DTILES
I like her voice haha
thanks :)

Hi :-) do you know the name of the artist who made the Big red and the green artwork in the Living room? Beautiful place!
Hey :) I believe all of the artwork in the apartment is by Preben Reinicke.
An apartment in Denmark with no Scandi-style design. Or am I wrong?
You’re right :) I suppose you mean this beige minimalist scandi type design right?
@@Interior_Insights_ well that's American version of Scandinavian design '
the furniture is not Scandinavian however it's common in Denmark to mix pops of quite bright colors with white walls especially in art , it's a myth that Scandinavian is beige and grey , it cn be but it depends on the trend and the person and colors like blue and red have always been quite popular
I agree, hygge is grey and beige and something I am not too obsessed with tbh as it lacks personality in my opinion.
i dont quite understand how the colours are "nuanced" when walls are mostly white and the art against it is mostly in strong, primary colours.
I mean nuanced in the sense that there isn’t a strickt color palette of 2 or 3 colors that are repeated again and again, but there are so many different colors in play
Off whites & pastel yellows.
“ (…) upcoming neighborhood”? This is one of the most expensive areas to live in in Cph. There is absolutely nothing up and coming about christianshavn.
I confused something there, sorry!
I don't like the brick walls they just look scruffy
Hey :) What would you have done instead?
It came with the place and is whitewashed so as not to be too overwhelming. It is normal in lofts and goes with the industrial styling.
Yep :) keeping things original and not covering up the identity of the place and the architecture is really a great thing to do!
