- Hey guys, in this tutorial I will show you how to setup mailcow on RackNerd VPS so that you can send and receive unlimited emails. Yes, RackNerd allows unlimited outgoing emails and they don't block port 25.

Choose 4GB plan if you don't want ClamAV and Solr, 6GB if you keep both. Disble ClamAV in mailcow.conf SKIP_CLAMD=y and SKIP_SOLR=y.

followed the tutorial, works perfectly but i am having issues connecting the smtp with ultramailer or even my own website, what could be the cause?
Maybe you missed something on your SMTP relay.
@@webshanks I believe is an issue with ultramailer, because i tried sendblaster now and it worked perfectly, also some version of gammardyne worked too. thank you

i 'm have problem "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender"

i chat them they say i can't send bulk email the limit is only 100 emails per hour is that true?
It depends on how you define bulk email. If it's spam then it's not allowed on their network. Cold emailing is different.
As of this writing I contacted RackNerd and they told me that they don't have limits as long you're not spamming.
Can it work with email client like gamadyne or turbo mailer?
TYSM for the tutorial bro, Just created my own email server. But i'm facing a issue. I just added my emails on Smartlead & it is saying 'No DKIM Found' even tho i added DKIM & it is also showing tick at mailcow that there is DKIM. Is there any other way to add DKIM? Tell me fast so i can start the warmup process.
I think Smartlead needs a selector of your DKIM.

Yes you can.

You can rerun the installation command. Be sure you already have A records of your hostname.

It depends on your mail client. Yo can import your contacts in Sogo.

Yes you can! But you need multiple domains for that.
Does Mailcow support IP rotation?
After warming up how would you send mass email using this?
Still start small. 100 per day. 200 next day. 500 the next. And don't forget your cold email structure. Craft it carefully so that it won't be marked as spam.

Can you use 2fa for users(mailbox), or only for admins?
2FA can be used by users. If enabled, check your smtp and imap settings for connectivity.
Can’t it work on Ubuntu or Centos, must it be racknerd
You can use any VPS other than racknerd but the port 25 should be opened. Also check supported OS here for mailcow: docs.mailcow.email/getstarted/prerequisite-system/#supported-os

Yes, as long as your server permits it.
How many emails does it send in 24hours. Can it send up to 100kmails?
Yes, but do not use 1 server alone. Use multiple domains as well. And be sure to warm up your IP.

Use Debian 12 if possible and you're good to go.
which email software do you recommend? mailcow or mailinabox.. etc
mailcow for feature and flexibility, miab for simplicity and ease of setup, both have good communities
@@webshanks crazy how much resources are needed to run mailcow. 🥲if you were to use this smtp server on a tool like instantly... would it be a good idea to just use miab instead?
Both are very good. So if I have big server, I would always go for mailcow, if and only if I have 4GB server or more.

I chatted with Racknerd customer care, they said no for bulk email.
I also asked them. They said port 25 is closed
Maybe with other servers but with France and LA, you can send emails and port 25 is open.

@@NookStreets I don't think it's closed. I just sent an email from my server. By default the port is closed if no applications are installed like email server.

Gamadyne has no tls or starttls option. This method has smtp and imap settings. It works well with thunderbird and other mail clients. Haven't used turbo mail. As long as it has smtp and connection tls option it will work
