Hey Steven, love your reactions. I’m 75 yrs old and have heard all the great singers and bands. But recently I heard the greatest female singer EVER! She has so much compassion and the voice of a princess or maybe an angel. This lady is from South Korea. Her name is Sohyang. Please listen to her rendition of Simon and Garfunkel‘s Bridge Over Trouble Water. Chill bump city for sure. Keep up the great reactions. Ron
Steven, Check out "Barcelona" is a single released by Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury and operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé. 1987 1st Pop/Opera collaboration 15 years before this performance! It is incredible!
What a combination. . I was lucky enough too see James Brown live , what a performer. As you say you forget the power of Pavarotti s voice. I am involved in opera (chorus) there is nothing like being on stage with a big voice. Blows your ears off.
This is a wonderful reaction! Mr. Brown has been my favorite artist since I was 12 years old in 1968. I saw him about 100 times in concert I have all of his records I met him a few times and all that good stuff. Another reason this was so phenomenal he was 68 years old here and Mr. Pavarotti was 67. And if you look at the performance when you see the women moving side to side those were two of Mr. Brown’s backup singers, and part of his band was also there. Please react to more James Brown videos that would be appreciated thanks.
If you dig back and watch James Brown in action from the sixties and 70s, you will see exactly where Prince got a lot of his moves and inspiration from. His clothing style, swag and guitar playing comes from Jimi Hendrix. You take them two legends and smash them together like fusion, and BAM💥💥 Here comes Prince!! 🤟🤟
Steven, I just found this performance from 1964 and it blew me away. It's called, Night Train. Now James doesn't work the mic in this one - meaning, pushing it over and pulling it back up while dancing and singing - but he most certainly does that, just like Prince. This blew me away. The energy is off the charts!! 🔥🔥🔥 ruclips.net/video/ZF_rZrH4yBY/видео.htmlsi=oexf0-puq3TcESGB
🇬🇧 I have not seen this performance before. So thank you SteVen for reacting to it, cos I would have NEVER seen it. I only watched it cos it's you (my favourite reactor)👍🎼🎶🫂❤️
Check out Loretta Lynn singing to Luciano Pavarotti. This was tape 3 November 1980 for a television special. I wish I could find the whole segment, but this is all I can find. They actually sang together. What I like most is how respectful he was of her vocal style. He later said she was one of the most talented female singer/songwriters he ever met. ruclips.net/video/OdDCpMK8fok/видео.htmlsi=3pM4WHZf9LsaQGxz
My older brother was a Luciano fanatic like kids were of the Beatles in the 60's....he got me hooked too but I kept telling him he should try singing with pop and Rock stars in duets (duh, I was right :) ) But sadly my brother passed before all this kind of stuff happened .............like the benefit concerts he did with everyone ..... :(
This is magical, respect for differences, the best of human beings and music💕🌈 check out Pavarotti and Tracy Chapman - "Baby Can You Hold Me Tonight" 👍

Whoever had the idea of putting the 2 in a duo - well he or she should get a medal !!!
Absolutely! 💯
This was an annual charity concert Pavarotti held in Modena, Italy in which Pavarotti did duets with every popular star you can think of at the time.
Luciano Pavarotti, Brian Eno, Bono, The Edge - Miss Sarajevo
RIP both of them
Putting these two icons together was genius! Wow!
This is truly one of those mind blowing moments. It is just so cool!
Mario Lanza - Ave Maria (Luciano Pavarotti young boy singing with Mario Lanza)
