I have the rcn1 and use my samsung 11inch tablet to see..I honestly dont see how the Rc2 can be better than that its a stupid idea in my opinion and expensive...now I want to get the mavic3 and it seems like u cant use the rcn1 anymore
Great info. i dont have any issue using as second screen on my ipad pro, but having problem to connect with my android tablet..any suggestion for the apps on android tablet?TIA
Did you use a 90 degree adapter coming out of the controller, or was that one cable. Can you send the brand of the USB-C to HDMI and the brand of the HDMI converter to your ipad, please? I am in the U.S. and I would like to get it through Amazon right away. Thanks.

what for is resolution 1280x1024 on a bigger screen if you have 1920x1080 on the RC2 screen? you can watch the smaller screen from a shorter distance. The main thing is resolution and clear frames per second 😉
@@ing.michaltrubka4446 i.e. an 11" iPad is 4x bigger area than the built in 5.5" on the controller. That is helpful for a lot of pilots that might not have a 20/20 vision.
Is there a reason you didn't buy the RC-N2 controller and just use the iPad app? I am trying to decide which controller I would like to buy and like the bigger screen, but am missing out on anything with the RC-N2/iPad combo? Cheers!
Well, we are Thor’s Drone World, owner of the brand LifThor - whichnis literally our business designing accessories for all types of DJI remote controller, so we have to own them all 😉 However, many people still prefers "old school" remotes where you can use as big screen as possible, and and controll everything from there.

Thanks. I just figured it out. As you said, connect to controller before turning it on. The I had to let the controller boot up first. Once it booted up I then turned on the drone and it worked. @@LifThor

What tablet is it? (The Android one..)
Make sure the app (preferable "USB Camera Pro") setting on resolution is 1920x1080.
I'd like to see a video of you having this setup around the neck. Like how heavy is it and difficult to maneuver when one is flying?
It is being edited as we speak. Will upload tomorrow. 👍🏻👍🏻

Can you use the touchscreen of the Ipad to control the RC2 interface? Mine is unresponsive after it was exposed to rain
No. You only see a video copy of what is showing on your small built in screen. Sorry.
Have you tried running the USB-C to HDMI straight to an external monitor, like a TV?

... try the app hdmi monitor orion. On the bigger screen it has only sence if you have the original resolution from the output of the rc2
Epic! Do you reckon they will make the rc2 compatible with the Mavic 3 series?

This works with a USB-C to HDMI cable as well. So any external monitor or TV that has HDMI input works....
100% correct 😁❤️

Can you use any iPad with the usb c or do it have to be a pro
It does not have to be a pro as long as it has a Type C port.
Thanks for the reply tired of buying 😉
If I get a USB C to Lightning Adapter, can I use your kit connect to my ipad that has a lightning input?
No. You need to go through the HDMI SIGNAL via the Video Capture card, but that only works with an iPad with Type C input.

Yes absolutely. Just a different app on an Android device. We prefer the app "USB Camera Pro" (PlayStore)

It's pretty clear from the video you can not

I am not sure if lightning supports video

Let me say it again …. USB-C only !!!

Turn on the tablet/monitor and connect it to the controller BEFORE you turn on the controller.
