    Hi Anastasia! I'll be going to Italy in April/May 24. I have been watching your all your videos. They have been great! I see that you are a stylist and I was wondering if you are available for a booking. Also, one of your videos covers restaurants and the fact that we should have them booked in advance. I was wondering if you could give me some names of some Tratts in Rome, closer to the Hotel Fontana? Thank you!

    I always wear Kaydee II Crocs black flip flops all over Italy and I go every year. As a Senior with knee pain, these are the best! I can walk for miles with no pain. So they might not be the most fashionable, but sometimes being fashionable is not the most important thing. I’ve never had any weird looks from people when wearing them in Rome. No heels for me and tennis shoes are too hot! So it’s Kaydee II’s for me!

    Hi. Is it still a summer weather in late September ? I don't know if I should bring a light jacket, a heavy jacket, no jacket, umbrella, raincoat ? If not straw hats, then what kind of hats ? Cotton, fedora, bucket, etc. Thanks.

    • @StayFabulousTL
      @StayFabulousTL  2 года назад +2

      Late September it's definitely still a summer weather. The only difference is that it cools down in the evenings, so a light cardigan or a jacket will do. Definitely nothing heavy. It might rain occasionally, so umbrella might come handy, but most hotels and airbnbs have those for you.

      Italian women usually don't wear hats in big cities, even in the summer. With that said, you don't have to do what they do, so if you want to wear a hat-certainly wear one.

    • @furanpyon
      @furanpyon Год назад +2

      Italian here, please wear a hat, whatever kind you like. The reason why locals don't wear them is because we are probably out of the house for 30 minutes so we don't need one. Tourists absolutely need to wear a hat, in fact, italian tourists too usually wear hats

    I know that you must cover your knees in cathedrals etc, but I find it’s really hard to find them. Do you think it’s okay it’s slightly above knees? Are they really strict with teenagers? My daughter is really tall so even Bermuda shorts tends to go slightly above knees. She doesn’t want to wear dress or skirts so I’m worried she won’t be able to go in. BTW, we are travelling in July so it will be super hot.

    Hi A. 👋 hope you’re managing to stay cool - I’ve heard about the heat there 🥵 🔥
    Question: How common is it for apartments there to have air conditioning?
    Do most restaurants have it?

    • @StayFabulousTL
      @StayFabulousTL  2 года назад +1

      OMG the heat wave...I've never experienced anything like this. I am usually pretty good with the heat, but this one...😳🥵
      It is common for apartments and restaurants to have air con, but there are still some of course that don't have it. On top of that some chose not to turn it on because of the prices (it's extremely expensive in Italy.) So no matter if you go to the stores, restaurants, museums, etc you will not have that air con blasting like in the U.S.

    • @StayFabulousTL

      It mainly depends on what you are looking for. Florence is known for its leather good, including leather jackets. Rome of course has a very strong overall fashion game, including artisan stores, atelier and boutiques with made in Italy brands. I believe if you know where to go, you will find gems in both cities.

    • @StayFabulousTL
      @StayFabulousTL  2 года назад +2

      Hi Krista! Usually, Italian women don't really go for leggings and long tops. Italian style is very put together. But it also depends on a lot of other factors - how old you are (in Italy the younger you are the more relaxed you are with your outfits), what kind of tops and leggings, how you put them together etc. As far as which bags have the best value compared to the U.S. right now, I'd say - LV and Hermès
