I just bought a set of these last week. 5-PW, AW. Have to say, the claims are true. The ball flies further and straighter than with my old clubs. There is also a satisfying "click" sound when making contact. I was depending on my old 4H for any long fairway shots, but the Qi 5 Iron has now taken over as the main second shot club in my bag, i'm able to hit it as far as my old 4H. Overall very satisfied, I highly recommend these clubs.
I just got mine yesterday and I had the speed blades and these don’t even compare to them, they are much lighter, needed a stiff shaft because my club speed was 85.4 hit them much much straighter without my slice to the left because I’m leafy, and a nice slight draw. The sound of the ball coming off the face is nice as well
Im a 12 handicap. I gamed rhe maverick maxs and wanted the new paradyms. I tested out so many irons with a fitter, and the qi irons ended up in my bag. They dont look great in my opinion, but i care more about what the ball does than cosmetics. These are great.
Just got fitted for irons the other day. Tried out a few and these Qi’s were by far my favorite! Very smooth feel and very consistent contact with them. Was hitting the seven iron on occasion 205!
What is the differences between Qi irons and Sim MAX irons except year of release ? Can I feel it or this is more marketing to buy new set every year ?
Taylor made Qi with 105 s300 dynamic gold 5-pw Taylor made stealth 4-rescue hybrid with Ventus tr 7-s shaft Striping that 230 plus. 2 degrees toe up. 7 iron swing speed 92 consistently 1.2-1.35 smash factor… ***need to stop dropping my knee and club head occasionally is ahead of my hands.. 190 yds on 7 consistently I’m can’t wait until they come in!!!
Need to have someone with 75moh club head speed with a 7 iron hit these irons so we can see how they perform. No one with his club head speed is going to game these
I have an 80mph clubhead speed, play off a 15hc, and hit these at a fitting last weekend. They felt really bad, like had a dead feeling with a tinny noise. Mizuno, wilson, callaway, and srixon all felt better. Ended up with the d9 forged
@@JDDD33 Im about 80-85 also hit these in a fitting and really liked them. I currently have 225s and struggling so looking to switch to a more forgiving head. The Mizuno's (when flushed) are butter compared to these but I was expecting that. I liked the Calloways also, just wasn't a fan of the look.
If it helps, I got fitted 2 days ago and my swing speed is 80-85 mph. Average carry was 148 yds with the 7 iron. I wanted 150, so close enough. Feel fantastic off the face with great launch and descent angles. Picking my new clubs up at the end of the week and can't wait for the new season.
Handicap 15, club speed 82, ball speed 108, average 165 yards. This was after we added 1 deg of loft for the order. Max distance was 177 yards. I tried about 7 sets including 2 Taylor Made, 3 Ping, Callaway smoke and Mizuno. The consistency (forgiveness) , distance and accuracy of the Qi was a clear winner. The feel was good but the numbers told the story. The only reservation I had was the lack of spin rate hence the extra loft we added. If I ever get to single digit handicap it might be a factor but for now the Qi has made my game so much more fun. Full disclosure I worked on my swing from Jan to April and my old clubs had shown significant improvement.
I have a slight fade and hit it quite low normally, I got fitted yesterday and gained 21 yards on a 7 iron ! Graphite shaft, 1 degree upright .. HL SPEC( 7 iron had a apex the same as my current 9 iron) These are really dynamic.. I always stayed away from custom fit ( but deary me ) I must go back for a driver and putter !
I just got some today... My old set I was only around 160-165 with my 7.... I was on average carrying 185-188 with the QI... I thought they were lying to me. They infact were not.
Not for me but could be a good fit for my playing partner who is looking for new irons. My only issue is the same as I had with Stealth irons, what is the market for the Core Qi irons: TM already have a great iron for mid/high HCP in the P790 and for the high HCP in the Stealth HD, and now the Qi HL so who should game the core Qi iron
Amazing how the tester has such great praise for the club after just one swing. Also, I thought Taylormade was marketing the P790 as a "player's" club, not Game Improvement. I'm playing Sim Max OS, what would be the best current club for a 15 hdcp. Thank you.
The tester had a few swings off camera to get to know the club before recording started. The P790 is a players club with game improvement characteristics. The Qi irons would be a great fit for you, schedule a fitting at one of our locations and find out.
This looks almost exactly like the stealth irons, granted the stealth irons seemed like they were pretty good, but these seem pretty solid, look a little sexier.

I just went and tried these going from my 790s I'm telling they are sweet. Definitely gonna be upgrading
I just tested a 5 iron qi10 and I carried 205 yards and i loved it.

Glad you like them!
Bro me too I just got fitted for some qi10s super exited
Had a fitting session and got paired with these. Should be a slight upgrade from my 1991 Maxfli Tour Ltd’s lol
Just got fitted today and shot with 6 different options and I was 20 yards further in the air than any other 7 I swung. Bought the set on the spot.

How are you liking them?
5 iron 21 degrees of loft the p-7w 3 iron 21 loft
Would these be a huge improvement in dispersion over my Rsi1 irons ? I shoot in high 80s. Thank you

I sucked with my irons, just got fitted today with 80-85 and I was 175. They felt great!

What irons are better Taylormade Qi10 irons or titlest t350?
That a great question because I’ve narrowed down to determine which one to play
Hard to say as agnostic club fitters…We like the club that fits the player. What we can tell you is that they are built to compete with each other.
I tried both. LOVED the look of the 350s. Such a sleek sexy look. But I couldn't control them. They sprayed on me. Went with the Qi

@@Truespecgolf great, thanks for the reply. I just signed up for a Taylormade fitting. Thank you.
Wish they would make these but with old school retro lofts. Spin on these is stupid low
Would love to get a fitting done but prices just to fit are too high.
We run promos a couple times a year. Stay tuned to our social channels and email list to keep in the know of when those drop.
TaylorMade does it again.
Ping driver qi irons and tirelest wedges😊

It doesn’t matter what the bottom of the club says it’s the number on the face that matters. Lee Trevino
Stealths are way better
I just bought a set, tested literally every brand out there.
Same
So are thr hl model thr same as the hd model of thr stealth
Not the same model as they have made some nice improvements aesthetically and gave it a performance upgrade
