I'm 63 years old, almost 64 and bought the Qi irons with regular graphite shafts in October 2024. I'm trying to get my old swing back and I'm playing much more golf then I have in years. A couple of great discoveries I found with these clubs. 1-Better ball strikes, 2- Better feel, my old stiff steel shaft's were hard on my hands. I am practicing and playing 3-4 times a week and I have no pain in my thumbs anymore. My next purchase is the Qi10 Driver and fairway woods. Excellent Irons, I even ordered the matching SW and 4 Iron from TaylorMade. Hope my handicap comes down.
Seeing as im an occasional golf fanatic its been quite awhile since i got new clubs….my RAC OS irons still seem fine but im older now and having a hard time correcting my life long slice that i use to be able to fix(make playable ) after a couple range days in years past … will give a lil more time trying …but if no change im thinking i may need a “fitted new set” to help me overcome the right woods 😂..never had fitted clubs before as i only played at the absolute most once a week (25 yrs ago) …seems club technology may finally be my answer …thanks for putting the high handicapper in.
I am an older golfer still playing on 35+ year old Titleist TDR's. I'm a mid level handy cap but took lessons years ago before I quit golf altogether. Now I'm getting back into it. I think I could be a Low/Mid handicap with range time. I have hit several clubs recently, TaylorMade Stealth, TaylorMade Qi, Ping 430 (i believe), Titleist 350, Callaway Ai Smoke. The Qi was by far my favorite. I felt like I just connected in the right spot more often. Consistency was there and I was about 10 yards further than the other clubs. They felt so good to me that they are the clubs I hope to have a fitting with at some point. Now I need to get past the $1000 price, plus add a 4 Iron in for me (Old School).
Same here ..playing 20yr old TM RAC os irons ,and not enough playing lately to know what” my swing” is yet…but the RAC’s have been great so am leaning g towards TM’s again …just assuming itll be Qi’s , but who knows …? Now that my irons miss left often maybe P790’s ,or something completely different …am currently trying to get over the $1000 price tag (minimally) before getting fitted…
First time ever in your channel. Great vid. Really like what I’m seeing on the TM QI HL. Got to be light years ahead of my Cobra T-Rail set. Soon in the bag. 😃👍
I got fitted for Ping G425’s two years ago at PGA superstore. First time I was ever fitted for clubs. I absolutely hate them. I used Taylormade Burner 2.0’s before the Pings and hit them pretty well. Wasn’t fitted just standard off the rack. I’m considering trading in my pings and buying these irons.
Great to see a high handicap player use the new clubs. I am a 18 handicapper, 66 year old with slow swing speed. Would like to see a comparison with mid to high handicap players, young and older golfers. I am currently using M6 irons, 6 iron lowest then into hybrid and woods Thanks for the video
Interested to see see you play a full set of these. The gapping would be like watching you play like Bryson. Even better players are looking for more consistent distance and it would be interesting to see what you would shoot.
@@londondavisgolf08 I game Stealth irons and play off 7. Don't feel the need to change to so called "Players irons". Use 6-GW and 54/58 hi toe wedges. Stealth 4/5 irons are strong lofted and if you don't have the ball speed will be difficult to launch - i swapped for hybrids. be interesting to see if the QI irons launch higher - might put a 5 iron back in the bag if they did
I just tried all the best clubs on the market and bought the Qis because they are the best when all is said and done. I think with more pros leaving blades behind, you will follow. Perhaps it is time we acknowledge a better club when we see it. How bout play a round with your blades and a round with the Qis and see if your blades can beat them.
good review I am trying to decide now between the PXG Black Ops or the Qi irons or Qi HL irons any thoughts anyone ? I am coming from stealth irons that i sold i did like them just want new irons lol thx cheers from Canada
Wait …rewatching this months later and just realized you hit an 8i for a 200 yards shot? I mean i was getting 170 + with the Qi 7i on crisp shots up to the 180’s when really nailing a balls to the wall swing … I don’t know if pros get an 8 i 200 yards without a lot of wind help ….? 🤷🏼♂️or am i crazy (yes iam but u know what i mean😬)
I have p790s and love them but really struggle with longer irons 4/5 iron maybe these in the longer irons could help me. Would you try with the same shaft 120g I have currently or should I try a lighter shaft in the longer irons?
I just got my set of irons and noticed that the hosel/neck of the club is different and has jagged edges. This makes the swing sound completely different and strange. Take the 8 iron and 9 iron. Swing both in the air. You'll hear the difference. Anyone else notice this?
theses new irons of many brands with their strong lofts are like mini driver now, even theses guys who call themselves low handicap can't even hit theses in the middle of the face all the time so forget all that tech it's useless if you don't hit it well and you have fault in your swing
Having the 28 handicapper hit was what made this a great video
Will is a legend! loves the Qi's too
he just needed the next club, why was he hitting with one he could not carry the green with?

Just fitted the QI10 irons, went from a 15.6 hcp to 13.8 hcp in 1 month, and still improving , I hit my distances much easier.. Love Them!!
Switched from the original stealth irons and now they look huge, I upgraded to the 2023 p790s and love them
A great upgrade! Nicely done

As a 18-19 handicap I’m looking forward to putting these in the bag over the M4s
Great choice!

wait till they super-ceed them with the next generation and they will be down to $600/700 in the sales.

I purchased a QI10 driver and 9 iron today .. slowly building a new bag
Im a 15-20 (short game and putting sucks) im looking at these and the Titleist 350. I need to get fitted. Great Video
thanks!
The stealth brought me to scratchville. Yes. They do improve your game.
As a player trying to improve I find these comments really interesting. If you don’t mind me asking, what were your shooting before the stealth?
@@londondavisgolf08 actually regularly playing probably helped more. I was shooting high80s low 90s

I like the look but need to try them out.
5-7 Qi and 8-P P790 maybe. 🤔
That would be a great combo set

Please compare to g430 or AI Smoke :) trying to make my mind up at the moment
Ai Smoke comparison coming soon!
Great Review!
I am a 20 handicapper, should I go ahead with these or P790s?
These IMO
I have p790s and love them but really struggle with longer irons 4/5 iron maybe these in the longer irons could help me. Would you try with the same shaft 120g I have currently or should I try a lighter shaft in the longer irons?
Same shaft 100%
@@GolfmagicPlus thanks 👍🏽
I have played Rsi1 irons for 8 years. I shoot in high 80s. Would i see better dispersion with P790 , Stealth or Qi irons ? Thank you. Good video
QI would be the one for you if your main need is dispersion!
what about the taylormade stealth hd vs qi10 hl?
So I usually shoot low 80’s. Was it a good option to get these clubs? Or I should’ve got better ones?
No these are fine! It's not set in stone. If you hit them well and enjoy them that's all that matters.

I like the help on length. But i like to work the ball into the green, even if only a little.
Would i be able fade it all?
Of course, you can still work the ball! Just not as much as other, less forgiving clubs
@@GolfmagicPlus ok ty
They do look the part, but are they the best new out
Hard to say!
Taylormade have really cranked up the lofts really wasn’t happy after getting the stealths ball flight was so much lower and control just went
Give the man a custom fitting😂
You think he deserves it? He was hitting some great shots....
@@GolfmagicPlus He's got to put up with your humour, damn right he does! 😉🤣
Having a high handicapper try and hit a 180 yard green with an iron is a bit much.
Nah although he’s a high handicapper Willy Woods has a high swing speed, when he creams one it’s easy 180 yards so it is applicable.

Damn that top line is huge. No thank you
It's not as bad as you think, but it's certainly a GI club
Why arent you giving that man a longer club?
my GOD, the dude in blue NEVER stops talking. .....
Almost like that’s his job
You talk too much. Jesus
Kind of the point of the video! 😂
