Hi, I am from Mexico and there a difrent way to make a Paloma, 3 oz grapefruit juice (freshly squeeze) 2 oz silver tequila, 1/2 oz lemon and 1/2 agave syrup, shake and serve on ice, and add 1 oz of mineral water, stir and enjoy.
Thankyou from Michigan, this will help get us through winter snow storms and summer camping! The perfect tequila recipe collection. Love the speed and pace of your videos. No BS, just instructions and information. Brilliant. I look forward to visiting after lockdown.
Best cocktail channel on RUclips... in my opinion at least! Super easy cocktails, nothing too complicated, no booze you couldn't pick up at some store in your vicinity and filmed in a really appealing way! Keep up the good work pls :) I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in saying this really helps some amateur bartenders recreate tasty drinks at home!
They are also made different tequila is boiled with blue agave mescal is the heart of the agave thrown into a fire pit covered with the cut up parts of the plant and smoked
0:38 Margarita 20 ml Lime Juice 20 ml Triple Sec 1 dash Sugar Syrup 50 ml Tequila (Top Lager - Largarita) 2:35 Tommy's Margarita 20 ml Lime Juice 10 ml Agave Syrup 50 ml Tequila 3:40 The Paloma 20 ml Lime Juice 50 ml Tequila Top Grapefruit Soda 5:22 Mezcal Old Fashioned 10 ml Agave Syrup 2 dash Chocolate Bitters 50 ml Mezcal 6:32 Smoky Negroni 25 ml Sweet Vermouth 25 ml Mezcal 25 ml Campari
Thanks for this new video ! I'm waiting for all of your video but particulary for the next one! Finally the whisky Cocktail video ! thanks a lot ! I hope See you in London ! Hugo, France
I like the idea of the mezcal old fashioned. I've done my own twist on the old fashioned before by making a Margarita old fashioned (50ml tequila, 5-15ml Cointreau, 2-3 dashed angastora or orange bitters and a lime twist for garnish) you should try it at some point
Hi! Great video :). Do you think you could make a video on liqueur-based cocktails? I mean, after dinner cocktails where the most prevalent flavour comes from a liqueur :D. And maybe a video on prohibition era cocktails too! :D. Or another one on most popular British cocktails! It's interesting to see how something that is uncommon in a part of the world can be pretty well-known somewhere else :O
As per usual, a very interesting episode. My previous expeditions into the Tequila world have been less refined so to speak... Now I am ready to have another go. Also, cudos that you keep evolving your videos, both in mood and camera work. I sub to a few drink/cocktail channels but yours is really top notch. Looking forward to the next whiskey episode! Cheers!
Great video! I use agave syrup in my old fashioned instead of sugar. Would love to try the mezcal cocktails. I tried a mezcal tonic a little while ago, it was incredible!
Great video! I made the mezcal old fashioned. I really dig the use of the chocolate bitters, but I found the proportions to be far too sweet for my palate. For me, a full 2 oz is the ticket, and maybe I would only do .25 oz of agave. Maybe my agave is sweeter than yours? In any case, thanks for making the video, and keep up the good work!
Hi there! Thanks for making and sharing these. You talk about checking for dilution - when do you notice too much water in the drink - that is how many times have you got to try the drink until you know you have the right dilution? And what to do to correct over dilution? Start another drink?
I like adding 1 to 2 oz of fresh Ruby Red grapefruit juice and top with grapefruit soda. Use equal amounts of tequila and fresh grapefruit juice. I want to try using grapefruit liqueur in place of fresh grapefruit juice. maybe 1/2 oz?
It is true that tequila its a kind of mezcal since both are made of agave, but tequila is made only of "agave tequilana" also known as "agave azul", instead mezcal is accepted to be made of a larger variety of agave. The regions where tequila is made is smaller than mezcal. This both facts contribute to making mezcal a richer liquor, because its flavor may be very different from place to place, you can have a fresh taste, smoked, a bit sweet, dry o fruity, and usually it brings the plants flavour, also the smell adds another dimension. It is standard for mezcal to have higher alcohol content than tequila. Tequila can be really good by its own, but mezcal goes beyond. (Sorry for the bad english. Nice touch on the "paloma" and thanks for your videos.)
Love these videos, I get so many great ideas watching them. Wanted to ask though, isn't it proper to put a dash of salt in a paloma? I have seen it done with and without.
+Ken Biggs Thanks for you comment, glad we inspire you! The salt dash is all a matter of taste - all of the cocktails we make have slight variations but the videos show our preferred versions. Thanks for watching Ken!
Why Triple Sec rather than a more sophisticated orange liqueur? Why simple syrup rather than agave? The latter I could pretty well provide a thought - but not so certain re former.
Mezcal is much more complicated, remember there are different types of agaves with different ages of maturity. And the process to make mezcal is very different from tequila, it is smokier. And the process and culture for the smokiness is awesome.
drum loop from Funkadelic album"Funkadelic", just sped up. listen to the snare, but more importantly the snaps... I'm a recovering trainspotter TA Trainspotter Anonymous LOL -DIRTISOUNDS
Guys this is the recipe of the cocktail: 40ml of gin, 30ml of vodka, 15ml of lime juice, 15ml of mandarin juice, 15ml of triple sec, 15ml of simple syrup, 15ml of kiwi syrup, 15ml of peach syrup, 1 slice of ginger, 4 leaf of peppermint or mint, 2 leaf of rosemary. So in a Boston shaker pour the lime and mandarin juice, the simple syrup, kiwi syrup and the peach syrup, the 4 peppermint leaf and the slice of ginger with the middle mix up all the ingredients then pour all the spirits (gin, vodka, triple sec) shake it with ice. In a highball glass put the 2 leaf of rosemary and cover with crushed ice pour the cocktail into the glass using double strainer. Please if you can do it an try it! it will be very important to me, it's a good cocktail and very refreshing with new flavors
FUCK! I love the pace of the video, no bullshit, no gimmicky trash - just pure technique and speed.
As a bartender it is much appreciated!

Great series!
I worked at a club that had "Vaquero" Saturdays...I can't tell you how many Palomas and Charro Negros I had to make.
Love tequila and love ur videos Keep em comming
Tommy's Margarita is amazing!
I tried the Paloma with fresh grapefruit juice and soda water. It definitely needs some additional simple syrup!
That mezcal Old Fashioned is GOOD! I didn't have chocolate bitters so I used Angostura. Everyone should give this one a try.
As per usual, a very interesting episode.
My previous expeditions into the Tequila world have been less refined so to speak...

Magic!!! and a gopro...
2018 dude! Love your videos
Thank you so much for another great vid ... can you guy do a chapter with campari & another types of bitters
Thank alot !!!!
+Nguyen Andy We'll look into it!
also can you do a video talking about garnish and making some examples
+Antoine Farah Yeah, we'll add that into out tips & tech series!
If I'm not mistaken, isn't the agave flavour in tequilas more prevalent in the blancos due to the lack of any ageing.
In case of the Paloma, what would be the ratio of grapefruit juice to soda-water, if I can't find a grapefruit soda? Simple one to one?
Videos are great and simple. Love 'em.
Always sounds like he has a cold, though.
can I know what kind of triple sec you are using? would help out a lot thanks! and absolutely love your vids, learn so much!
Great video! I made the mezcal old fashioned. I really dig the use of the chocolate bitters, but I found the proportions to be far too sweet for my palate. +hugo mocc All about trial and error really Hugo! If you over dilute you can re balance with a bit more alcohol. Thanks for watching!
I'd like to ask as your experience, which largar would fit the Largarita most? Thanks :)
Great video as the others =)
I like adding 1 to 2 oz of fresh Ruby Red grapefruit juice and top with grapefruit soda. Use equal amounts of tequila and fresh grapefruit juice. I want to try using grapefruit liqueur in place of fresh grapefruit juice. maybe 1/2 oz?
Why double strain liquid ingredients?
What's the name/brand of the mezcal you used for the negroni? Thanks buddy
I opened my own cocktail bar! I always check for dilution, a couple of three, four times. I'm my own best customer.
please make a video on how to open a beer like a gentleman as you did with the lager
can you make a video of liqueur based cocktails?

Where is your bar?
Why di you strain so many cocktaiks that contain only liquits?
Hi threre, can you tell me what that sexy looking copper device is in the corner? is that for distilling ?
It looks to me like it's a vintage (Early 1900's) espresso machine.
It's the coffee machine! And yes it's very sexy!
What is the model/machine called?
It's a Victoria Arduino Venus www.victoriaarduino.com/venus-bar/

This vid needs a volume 2, or at least more mezcal drinks.
Why Triple Sec rather than a more sophisticated orange liqueur?
Why simple syrup rather than agave?
The latter I could pretty well provide a thought - but not so certain re former.
Instead of straining the camera out of my margarita, could I leave it in as a garnish?
It will change the flavour profile slightly but yeah, f*uk it, leave it in!!
Mezcal is much more complicated, remember there are different types of agaves with different ages of maturity. And the process to make mezcal is very different from tequila, it is smokier. And the process and culture for the smokiness is awesome.
Sotol cocktails. also Cachaca!
List 25 background music!!!
You forgot the salt on the thommy’s!!
Tequila Vol II please
Can you put a fresh lime for the margarita please its ABC for a bartender.
Talking of ABC - you missed an apostrophe; it's, not its! (There should be a comma in there too!)
Why cap shake some drinks rather than doing an ordinary shake?
Cap shake it to mix rather than dilute! Thanks for watching!
Keep the videos coming! Please make a tiki video.
I feel dizzy, chill with the hand held camera shots.
where's Sangrita?
Gerry Wowiling la sangrita es jugo de tomate, limón, salsa Tabasco, un poco de salsa inglesa
There is a difference in the production of mezcal and tequila
margarita with beer. Hmmmm...
