First... Congrats!!!!!
Second... If you have. A goodwill outlet, where they have the bins you go through..... They ALWAYS have children's books and magazines tossed in the book and toy bins. So would stay with the purpose of repurpose, reuse, junk etc. And it's cents to get them. And I bet the library also has a good flow of books they cycle out. Get them from the source!! I also bet your followers could spare a few kids books now that their little ones don't use them!!

Hey Sweet lady, so happy for you. Dollar tree has great kids books, coloring books that are available. The library hopefully will give you some small kids books with great images.

That’s so cool to be a visiting artist. I have told you before you are the queen of junk collage. Lol. Sounds like they were looking for artist that people could relate to. Yes thank you we do have the best travel guides in Oklahoma consistently.

Yep Okies make fun of Texas and Kansas too. So no prob. We know the travel guides are the best. I just got my box too. I have cut up several post cards out of the harder cardstock pretty views. Still have to cover the backs to turn into postcards but Oklahoma outdid themselves this year!!

I had an idea for images that kids will like. Lego has free catalogs you can sign up for and kids love them!

I have seen you using stuff from Oklahoma before and I kind of assumed you that was your home. We spent a night in Oklahoma City about 5 years ago and I kept thinking of you. That is hilarious 😂
I got a large box from the state of Oklahoma, too. I haven’t opened it yet, but maybe tonight is the night!

@@ShannonGreen boy, they didn’t spare any expense on things. Their different guides and brochures are beautifully done. They give a ton of stuff to work with. I see what you meant about the Indian guide. It was a feast for the fingers and the eyes. I actually really liked the texture of a lot of the paper in many of the guides. This box definitely has my wheels spinning.

Ok so this is gonna be long...
First of all, I have an 8 year old and I presented her with your problem about images for a kid to use and even she doesn't know so... Yeah.... Good luck 🤣 might want to enlist the "painty papers pages" (PPP - kids love P). And I'm so interested to know how the class-stuff collecting goes because I've been procrastinating going to my library and offering something similar bit I just don't have the GUTS! So yeah... You are inspiring me to go try 😬😬 The scout guide stuff is so awesome! Love how you're using both years TOGETHER... Such a fun idea! I gotta hunt me down one of them suckers! Ok that's it...I think.....
You should totally talk to your library. The worst they can do is say no, then you can bless their hearts for not knowing what they’re missing out on! If your 8 year old can’t help me, I might be well and truly screwed. 😂😂😂

Oh btw you can check with any homeschooling groups in your area and then ask the ladies if they have any old schooling that they aren’t using and that might help..

Obviously Fayetteville has the scout guides, but does anyone know if Hot Springs Arkansas has them? Yeah, $10 bucks too much for me and $15 for a magazine I'd want to collage or paint on, my husband would want to hang me out to dry (so to speak). If I had my own income, I'd be buying some of your paper beads and such. Oh well. It's sure nice to hear from you, you always make me smile.
