I just discovered your stories and I am so thrilled! I travel to Europe whenever I can (have money, lol) and really watch how the local people live. I then immerse myself in their culture. I am an extroverted introvert and a person who notices everything and is grateful to see it. My eyes , heart , and mind are wide open. I can't wait to watch all your episodes. You sound like a carbon copy of me! One thing I have noticed is that when I pray to Yah with a problem I notice that he answers me. I always find a beautiful bird feather on that day. Wonderful!

Wow ! Ms. Helena, shining light! The Corsican mountains are beautiful! Thank you for re-centering me around beauty around me! Today's walk with my dog was back at the park we go to that has an oak grove, pond, open space, while most of the leaves are almost gone and a gray, below freezing day, there is still some color showing through that I enjoyed, breathing the crisp cool air, the crunch of the leaves under my feet, Bella happy on the walk and showing me by rolling in the grass, the open space, not concerned about the time and just being present

Helena, you are such a delight! I'm so happy to have found you. Long ago, I discovered and coveted European ways of living and came to embrace slow travel. But it's taken me a long time to truly begin slow living in the every day and not just reserve it for travel. It really is a way of life and requires a mind shift of our expectations of ourselves. Bless you for spreading the word that it's ok to live this way according to our values. Unfortunately, like many, I had to endure several severe burnouts before realizing that slow living suits me best.

Photography is my “go to”. It allows me to slow down and see a smaller portion of the world I live in, and it quiets everything, which enables me to find peace, in my mind and my soul. It also helps me to balance and center myself. It is my happy place.❤️

This video made me really reflect as to why perhaps some people really don't care for nature or to spend much time in it. I find that when I'm in nature , it strips me of negative thoughts. It's almost as though negative thoughts aren't able to enter into this vortex we call nature. When you're out walking in it , it strips you down to just the bare minimum of who you REALLY are. I think for some people, this might be too much. In nature you are constantly listening (unless you have earphones on..lol.) to the sounds around you but also your own silence. This can be heard PROFOUNDLY in nature and this volume can be too much for some people you know. I think getting that close to who they are can be challenging in that something might be discovered about themselves. I don't know...this is something that came to mind while watching your video. ahhh YES!! 🙏💕 Brilliant!! Absolutely brilliant. Love these thoughts of yours. I thought about this a lot when I went camping this summer. Not having access to wifi or podcasts, etc for so long made me feel uncomfortable after awhile. We don't realize how much we hide underneath layers of things that don't belong or actually resonate with our souls on a deep level. Nature and especially silence can be a place to really explore those inner truths we hide away from.
