Well this Override is a he it’s more based of the Takara/Japanese version of it where override was a dude which disappointed me as having watched both series I preferred female Override
Regarding the hexagon ports, I think its just a way to prevent the peg from attaching snugly and risk twisting the peg off when removing it. Also to allow room for air to get inside to prevent a suction effect.
If you noticed that the design of overrides back in vehicle mode looks like a diesel trailer hitch when you don’t have her weapon in place. You can hook up Optimus’s trailer to her, I know I did when I got mine and it did work she can pull any trailer.
Great figure, very Happy to have her. One of the best female figures I've got in the last few years! Transformation is interesting, articulation is great and so is her weapon. Pity she doesn't have a Cyber Key, but that's ok.
If they make more Cybertron Universe figures? I'd hope they go with Scattershot/Backpack and Overhaul/Jackshot since they're my favorite Autobots in the Cybertron/Galaxy Force line :)
Those two and Optimus were the only Autobots I had from Cybertron when it was airing. I’d love to finally have a Scattershot/Backpack with actual knees!

Yeah I was curious since they made Megalo Convoy and Nitro Convoy, I'd love Live Convoy and Flame Convoy. I only use their Japanese names since it kinda unites them more in a theme.
I always hated it when a character's only toy representation is a gimmick figure that compromises the look or articulation. After all these years I'm glad the first female character to bear the title of Prime finally has a worthy toy.

I recently aquired this figure and it’s fantastic. I love it so much. Transformers Cybertron has a lot of nostalgia for me and Override was one of my favourite characters because, she’s a bit of a badass. I think the Robot mode is fantastic it’s just brilliant, looks pretty much how she appears in the show. The plastic quality is great, the aesthetic and proportions are way better than the original toy and I think she scales pretty well. The transformation is also quite fun to do, if a little scared in some places but pretty good. My only real nitpicks with the figure is that I think the old toy pulls off the car mode a bit better, particularly the fenders of the front bumper. The wheels look cooler on the old toy as well if I’m perfectly honest. I also think she’s missing a few paint apps here and there but it’s not too bad. 9/10 for me. Xx
Im in the UK and she's practically a shelfwarmer here now! I got mine for a really reduced price ( I can't remember exactly, but I rarely pay more than £20 for any deluxe ) and I didn't expect much of her. I mostly bought her because I had the original Cybertron version years ago and I sold her, and always regretted it. I'm actually made up with her though! She's a great figure - they really taken the best of the original design minimised the gimmick level and brought her up to modern figure standards. She's a good size too. She's completely erased any remorse I used to feel about selling my original cybertron version, because it would be basically useless and consigned to the 'ex - display' drawer now!
Well, yes, but the difference is that Airrazor was intended to be female by the animators (a western company) which was localized by an Eastern company that turned her male. Override was intended to be male by the animators (an Eastern company) but was localized into a female character by the Western team. Honestly, I kind of prefer Override as female, just because it gives more diverse body shapes and sizes to the fembots. Yeah, Override is sleek, but she doesn't look fragile in either modes. That said, Override's design is androgynous enough that it works as both male or female presenting.
Boisegang well, I guess if I wanted to, I could get two of this figure. One for a transformer Cybertron legacy collection, and one for a convoy collection.
I would really love to get this figure, but there's no Walmart in Italy and scalpers are already putting this figure at 90 bucks! I just hope that scalpers spend the rest of their lives stepping on LEGOs and bumping their toes on corners... On an unrelated note, hexagonal ports and why they are far superior to circular ports: having an hexagonal port to house a circular peg makes so the peg, while correctly fitting in the port, still have the free grooves of the corners allowing air to come in, not creating a vacuum; without a vacuum you can unpeg without the risk of the peg getting stuck, stressing and/or breaking. MORE HEXAGONAL PORTS HASBRO!

Skyquake and Dreadwing were great, but I loved the Prime characters, not a geewunization... Prime fans deserve good toys of the characters AND THE DESIGNS they loved. I am easily goin to skip 'em and wait for APC toys to come to them.
I am very happy to finally have this figure since I missed the original. However, this is a well painted deluxe class being sold as a voyager and I'm not happy about it. I'm glad I have it but it costs a little too much in my opinion.
I was always confused why you went from vehicle to robot in other videos, when it was packaged in robot mode. At least until recently. Now, they’ve packaged these figures in vehicle mode, like the good old days of 1984. even though I never had any 1980s/1990s transformers figures. I just had a select few early 2010s figures.
Just reviewed this bad bitch and I have to say, she ABSOLUTELY BLEW ME AWAY! The OG Override was a trash tier figure and having this character get justice is AWESOME!
She's good figure maybe a little pricey for her size end of the day you only need one of her but I can see Galaxy upgrade Optimus Prime getting a re-release
😅 Just watched this one as I was think about picking up an override figure as they have a few still shelf warming at one of my local Wal-marts and realized the vid was over a year old, like has it been that long since the release OMG. Too bad that Leo Breaker rumor he mentioned never happened. I wish they went more into Cybertron from the Unicron Trilogy I so want a new take on Vector Prime, Crumplezone, Ransack, Downshift (both) and Thunderblast.
This is, no joke, the first transformer I've bought in years. I fell out of playing with toys about halfway through middle school. The last toy(s) I've picked up were a few sets from the 2018 Bionicle reboot, but that's it. I've had a few Lego sets gifted to me, but this was the first one I had decided "eff it I'm pre-ordering this". And oh boy, am I glad I did. I remember being so conflicted about opening it from its box, but I just can't stop playing with this figure, even if that's just transforming her from vehicle to robot and back again. It's kind of fun to have something to do with my hands while I'm waiting for a game to load, or when I need something more tactile.
I've been wondering forever about what a repaint of this could possibly be. The best I've come up with is an update of G1 Boss. Any other ideas, Balt and comments section?
I will say it’s a great figure just be mindful when transforming her around where the shoulder rotate at the red bit cause I had it and pin popped out for some reason(think I got a defective figure) so I exchanged it and got another one and so far I haven’t had that issue again but it is like kingdom airazor you have to be very careful when transforming it but unlike kingdom airazor where she’s packaged with a part mistransformed (airazor wings) where you have to unpeg the whole part and carefully fix it cause with airazor I bought three(four technically but that one was for a custom) and the first two the wings where they’re not pinned at got marred and eventually snapped third one didn’t happen at all and fourth one either cause I made sure when out of the box to be extremely gentle with it
I think the heel is supposed to resemble roller skate wheels or like heelies because she is fast and from what I've seen of her from the series she seems to slide and skate sort of in robot mode if I'm wrong meh

Fun fact about override here: CARTOON NETWORK made her female because they wanted Gender diveristy but on the first episode where she appeared in, Megatron called her a guy by mistake
Legacy bulkhead looks more like a truck than an SUV, siege/Earthrise Megatron looks weird without the sword, and this looks like one of those car/truck hybrids.
I find their shoulders catch if you don't rotate them 90 degrees when going in an out of vehicle mode. I don't feel any female energy from this so I think the Takara engineer made a boy and Hasbro are calling it a girl. (so basically the same as the show then)

It’s in the difference between creation and localization. Airazor was initially created the west as female and localized in Japan as male. Override was initially created in Japan as a male character and localized in the west as a female character.

I'm loving the return to variety with Legacy. the WFC Trilogy was great, but it was mainly G1 and Beast Wars. Personally, I'm hoping we get more representatives from RID 2001. We already got Nemesis Prime/Scourge, but I would love to see a modern take on the Autobot Brothers or Rail Racer.

The Jetpack with buzzworthy bumblebee makes a good substitute for filler on the back of the car mode.

She doesn’t really skate, but she has a tendency to transform from vehicle to robot at high speed and skid to a stop on her feet.
