I was using the Venus pro before switching over this mousepad feels smoother and faster but at the cost of stopping power, obviously through time the mousepad will slow down. I’m still maining this mousepad even after switching back and forth
Have you tried aqua control 2 sakura yet? I'm in doubt between it and Equate Plus v2. I was concerned when you talked about the sensation of waves on the surface of the pad. Did this only happen on your unit? I want a focused tracking pad for apex legends, I don't want it to affect me.
Unfortunately I haven't used an AC2 yet but I heard good things about it! The "waves" I felt has happened with someone else and he pointed out it was a defective copy that I got and I just have to ask for a replacement...I knew this before the video but felt a strong need to show it to those who may have the same issue and would like answers. And if you want tracking focused I can recommend the FOCUS AMBITION or InfinityMice THE DUEL, but they are a fair bit slower so I use fast, dot mouse skates on it. But if you want a fast tracking mousepad, the EQ+V2 is really good and I'd just hope you have a great copy!
Definitely! I do prefer the loque surface feel to it...so if we could have the attributes of the EQ+V2 on a loque Sheesh, end game for me...and I never use that term😂
@@Pistaciio I contacted X-Raypad and asked about the feeling of grooves on the mousepad and if this would affect tracking games. They asked the following question: "does the feeling of grooves refer to the entire mousepad you mentioned? If the entire surface is touched evenly, it will not affect."
@@_Khalmyr_ Okay, what design was your ac2? because I heard that the ones with designs on them such as the sakura are slower and more controlled compared to the black and white versions. Is there any difference between the designs on the equate v2? You say it's a little bit smoother and faster, yet you say it's much better than the ac2, are you serious or do you mean to say it's only slightly better overall?
Great review bro! I just bought one on LGG with that big sale. Really excited for it, ideal surface profile and favorite aesthetic
yea the biggest pro about this pad is the starting force needed to move to mouse, couldn't be happier with mine.
QUALITY IS INSANE
Is it the same as the artisan mousepads where it doesn't get affected by humidity?
I own this and I can confirm that the friction is slightly less than a cloth mat. I wouldn't really call it a control mouse pad as its quite fast.
i was wondering how this would be compared to the venus pro not with the discount on the venus pro

The Venus is slower and more texture. This pad is smoother with speed and control when u need it.

@@Pistaciio thanks for the answer brother 👊
Ive used both, much prefer eq+v2 its smoother and a tad bit faster than ac2, amazing pad.
Definitely!

You see it may be more advanced than the X-raypad Minerva DNA?
Is the x/y difference the same? And is it softer/harder than ac2?
do u think it will be on amazon soon ?
Nice videos thank for reviewing i love this mousepad soo much maybe best mousepad choice for apex legend with decent prices
Thanks, mate!
Yeah I agree...this pad is really nice and well balanced for speed
How is the durability?
Glass mouse skates or ptfe? I’m deciding between the two superglides v2 dots vs Tiger ice dots
I would do ptfe. The mouse pad is already rly smooth.
Great video bro
On Equate plus v2, do you feel the pad texture on the feets when sliding the mouse all the time? It changes depending on the skate, right?
Definitely across all mouse skates. Less on full size skates and if it's dot's it is way more noticeable :)
Is the Equate V2 rougher than the hein?
I would for sure say it feels rougher cuz it's dry as hell.
But the Hien is definitely more abrassive on the skin.
Do you think this pad is worth a shot if I get skin irritation from an Otsu? 🤔
Him or Control II? What is the best?
These are different types of pads. What do you want to be answered with
How to clean it
Yoooooooo ali dots on video lets gooooooooooo
Mate tge alidots go STOOPID crazy
@@Pistaciio people need to hear the word of alidots, absolutely the best bang for buck in the feet industry
How its compared to the aqua control II?
From my experience, a little bit smoother and faster. I much prefer it over ac2. its their best hibrid pad for sure!

Poggies, another "nutty" review! :P
