In El Monte off of Valley and I believe Garvey in front of the Food 4Less. There was this street vendor I used to go to. Probably the best tacos and burritos I had in my life. Sadly it was shut down a few years ago, this was all during COVID. I never found out where they relocated.

I don't like bail reform. If you can't afford the bail, don't commit the crime in the first place. And I'm not buying the "it keeps people poor" argument. Since the ones who really can't afford it are the victims of those that keep getting let off to reoffend. People that are just getting by, yet then have to miss work and pay out their hard earned money when their car gets stolen or vandalized, etc. Or the communities that lose their stores from all the retail theft, from the stores closing down.
@Mr-pn2eh my uncle is a 35 year retired LAPD veteran. He's fully indoctrinated in the belief that the police should be the only one with firearms. I guess he thinks Ca's repeal of the illegal possession of nunchucks will appease us. Yeh, use them to defend yourself and the cops will lock you up.
What I find ridiculous about American law (as a European) is the field sobriety tests. Every cop car should have a breathalizer. It's more accurate and it takes less time.
