EA Sports lost the ability to make MLB games, so they had to improvise and try to recreate the magic…. And MVP NCAA Baseball 2006 was born. #KOT4Q
I played it once at my cousin's house. That is all I have to offer in this comment section sorry.

Loved this game but as someone who actually cares about their schools baseball team I was always disappointed that the game didn’t have the real stadiums
Mike Patrick is like the mvp games in that we don’t see him anymore yet he was so good. I used to love when he did Monday (Sunday?) night nfl games. Such a good voice and authenticity. Great vid..I still play MVP
Ncaa basebal 06 and 07 l was two of my favorite games when they came out I played the hell out of them
I remember getting this game a few years ago due to my MVP baseball itch and I remember loving this game. Also hell yeah the soundtrack is better than MVP baseball. :D I remember jamming out to "Get Comfortable", "Die Romantic" and "Paper Cliché" and then running up the scoreboard like a pinball machine because those songs got me in the zone. *sigh* Good times. (Great review, BTW. ;D👌)
Absolutely loved this game. As a kid my only gripe was having a Longhorn on the cover, #BoomerSooner. But you're right about the newer control mechanics. The Create-A-Stadium was so awesome I didn't even really notice at the time that there weren't that many real stadiums, but it would've been sweet to have both options if they'd have gone all out. I must have made 15 + crazy stadiums. I stuck with MVP 05 & this for years until one of my friends got me to try MLB2k9. I've had fun with 2k9, 2k11, & currently with 2k13 the last true Baseball Xbox title. But I'm looking forward to replacing my broken original Xbox one day for MVP 05 & MVP NCAA 06 among others. The A.I.' Manager's decisions on 2k SuperSim are asnine sometimes. I miss the Manager Mode with the MVP Series that made it really easy to completely control your team and still quickly sim through days and weeks at a time.

I'm a UK fan of the Yankees, decided to purchase MLB The Show 09, 10 and 11 since I heard they were probably the best they could be in the series. Have you got thoughts on MLB the Show?

Hey, what it do, Kofie?! 😏 Just came across your channel while looking through sports game vids. I have this game and I'll be honest, lol I only played it on 3 occasions. I got it cheap years ago (like 10 years ago! 😳) The lack of star power does hurt this...a lot! I didn't have the time or patience to really give this game a go. I paid under $5 for it. I may give a try again soon. I enjoyed your video and you have a cool style on how you do your reviews. Keep it up man! 😎As far as game suggestions, if you keeping things retro, why not Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain, NCAA Basketball 2k7/8, NFL Street & NBA Street series? Hell, why not Fire Pro Wrestling Returns? Or even Def Jam fighting games?
