Three people don't like this as of 2024. I don't get it. I have a 2006 CW-11 Brister's Chuckwagon which is a 2WD version. I've had it since new and aside from replacing the carburetor, it's been a great little UTV. I replaced the belt after 18 years and it was still in good shape. I have had to replace the seat backs for the wood rotting, but for what it cost and what it is, if I could find some super cheap ones that need work, I'd buy them by the gross. Great little simple UTV.
I bought one, but it 2 wheel drive. I like it pretty much. Right now the engine kicks back hard when starting. I sent for a new coil, but they sent the wrong one. They are going to send the correct one.
Parts are available. I just ordered forward and reverse cables off amazon. American Landmaster is the parent company now and there are full parts schematics there.
Just picked up a chuck wagon 2 wheel drive for 500 buck was pretty sure motor was blowed after getting into it I checked the valve lash and runs great smoked for a few min I need to replace exhaust and tires but it will be a cheap little yard tool
I would contact American Landmaster , that is the name of the manufacturer now. They might still have parts. It should not be too difficult to manufacture one if it comes to that.
Love your Trail Wagon ,.. I have a Brister 390cc in it too. Nice job showing it. How did you know which ones of the wires fit on the starter. I have a green wire that isn't hooked up but I cant short the positive on the starter solenoid across and it will start .. but don't know which wire needs to be hooked up to starter so I can use the key. any thoughts on this .. I would appreciate your help. thanks much.. GD Tractor
Hi GD Tractor, thanks for commenting. I will take a look at mine and see if I can get you any further information in regard to wiring. Also I would say that the folks at LandMaster were very helpful when i called them with some questions, they even put one of the engineers on the phone for me to talk to
When you disconnected the seat belts did you have to adjust wiring? Mine is not going any faster than about 12mph. Thanks in advance.
This is a far more informative & detailed video than any of the others I've seen on RUclips. 👍
Thank you for the compliment John! The trail wagon is in use every day and I still think it is a great machine.
Excellent review. Thanks for taking the time to post it.
Thank you for watching, the "buggy" as mom calls it, is in use every day! She's 85 and uses it for morning feeding.
