That little nugget of time where Wilson cries while biting into a bunwich is so precious. Everybody in the constant is under so much stress ALL THE TIME, yet a simple bite of Warly's cooking and being surrounded by friends immediately takes the stress away. Wigfrid's little smile when she sees Wilson and Wanda too. I LOVE watching these characters interact with each other.
reminds me of a time me and a friend went into the caves for summer he was playing wortox and i was my main webber he went so insane i turned him british by giving him a top hat and making him forget me lot tea we sadly we died but we can't say we didn't put in our all
because this is a gacha where you have to complete story quests and at first everything is fine, but then you are forced to grind in order to increase your level, otherwise you cannot complete the main quests and you have to grind a lot, and although there is a survival mode, all the crafts in it are unlocked only for side quests and story quests, although maybe they will change something since I judge by the beta of 21@@gertjan5368

more surprising to acknowledge new home knowing that the lore doesnt fit the ds-dst time line and rules (wilson walking and being able to scape from the throne)
I know; I miss those events. That was really the last time I was obsessed with the lore and story progression. They just dropped all that and moved on to something else. The game just doesn't feel dark foreboding and mysterious to me anymore.
Wanda's backtrek watch having a cracked gem like how it bursts when you use the green staff on a gem item was a really nice detail! I love seeing Wanda in a trailer like this, seeing all the old DST events makes me feel older than her!
But she used it already and the gem is cracked so it should regress back into the normal backtrek watch but also I never realized it had a different name when you click the gem onto it so you still got a point
aside from the animation changing to newhome's style, it also changes to the older style of ds animations (more sketchier) in the older worlds, along with the gorge having paper outlines, which i feel is great attention to detail
0:06 I love how well Klei sticks to their "show dont tell" motto. It's easy to just put words on screen like "the watch" or something, but having wilson just tap his wrist gets the idea across quicker. You guys have done so well making these animations over the years, and you've woven an epic saga while only giving 2 characters (our lovely antagonists Maxwell and Charlie) a voice. Great work on 11 years of Don't Starve Klei, and happy Klei Fest!

The rift watch is broken, and we see the survivors being teleported to all aspects of the Don’t Starve universe… SHIPWRECKED MULTIPLAYER!1!!,!1!!! Honestly, the lore implications of the broken watch are intriguing, I don’t like where this is going… 🤔
I always thought that the purple gem (which is associated with teleportation, see the telelocator) is used to "expand" the capabilities if the watch. Said gem is used up to open the rift and becomes unusable (cracked). It just seems to be more of a gameplay thing that the character immediately removed the broken gem from the watch and discards it, turning it into the old backtrek watch again.
I find it to be a rather huge deal that Shipwrecked and Hamlet just got acknowledged as 'actual things' and not just some weird non-cannon alternate universe type deal stuff.
Klei this is an amazing way of celebrating your main game's life. I love the showings of the past and a potential look at the future. We've come a long way, and i can't wait to see what you'te gonna make next.

Dst is one of those games that gets so popular it goes back around to not being in the public eye Its a constant (pun intended) and doesnt get talked about much in the public eye despite being so damn popular and good Heres to another year of not starving

I believe that even though this short was made for Don’t Starve’s 11 anniversary, that hang on the broken watch at the end was definitely significant, I wonder who might be interested in finding a broken dimension hopping doohickey, much less have the capability to repair it? Perchance someone only having the equipment to… project themselves into other dimensions… hmmm…

I got into Don't Starve when the Terraria crossover just released and instantly fell in love! Something about the perma-death no-hands-held-back style of game really captivated me since I grew up with roguelikes. While I've had trouble introducing my friends to Together and found public servers tough to enjoy, I really came to appreciate the singleplayer experience a lot. The original Don't Starve and its DLCs just *feel* awesome in a way I can't describe. Shipwrecked and Hamlet especially with how different they are to DST really gave me a run for my money (Walani my beloved. half of the morgue page is just her XD). Seeing the Quacken, the pig knights, and the same hill from the Encore short (lmao I can't believe I noticed that) in this one was just a treat to see! I've been having fun on the whole, but one thing that I feel is missing from the modern DST experience is the mystery. Things like the Metheus / Cyclum ARGs, the hidden stuff in the classic Don't Starve trailers, and character quotes hinting at theories was fun to find, but I wish I could be present for the cracking of these puzzles. Now it feels like lore is being dumped willy nilly. It's fun don't get me wrong especially since the shorts confirm theories but still surprise us with details (WX was human, Wilson's old house used to belong to Wagstaff, etc), but it feels like we're getting spoon fed stuff. I'm really interested and excited to see where things go from here! I might even take advantage of the deals to pick up other games! I do have a question: Are there plans to officially release the songs not present in the Don't Starve soundtrack on steam? I love scores for the other animated shorts, especially Interference, and wish I could listen to them without the noise from the shorts themselves.
As Wanda main I think she has really big potential, literally best character in the game, but she needs rework, because she is overpowered. We need to hide some of her existing kit behind mid and late game. Also I think that both cool down of the ageless watch and healing output should be reduced, so you should press more buttons but you have a little bit more control on your age, because usually you don't want to heal before you are 73 to not loose bonus dmg, but when you are 73 fighting some bosses t is basically one error and you are dead
