Hey there, I have this chromebook and I'm annoyed the screen turns black over and over again by the slightest touches. What I have to do to repair this defect/error? I believe it's in the cable running through the hinge?
Is there a fingerprint sensor on the board? I would like to retrofit one but if there is no connector it makes connection it makes no sense

Yes, it is, but itβs hard. Replacing the whole Topcase is much more easier. Price ~90β¬ in Europe for the part.

Backup is always a good idea, but youβre not lose any data in this process

Hi my friend, I disarmed my laptop ideapad c340 for make maintenance preventive and now it doesn't work π’ I thought that the problem was the memory ram but I discard with other memory.

I don't have the correct screwdriver how can I remove screws without that exact type of screwdriver?
U can't. Just buy a set where it is in it, costs around 10 euros in germany

There is a slot under the Alu cover.

@@fernandomachado5763 the only solution that we have is to buy a bios chips online and replace the bios chip. there is no way to remove the bios password if there is no cmos.

The battery is the worst ever. 2865mAh man I have over 3500mAh in my phone.
The battery in your phone doesn't provide 15V. Around 2000-3000 mAh is a perfectly normal value for higher voltage batteries in this form factor.
Sorryh, but normally this computer stays on for almost 10 hours. Never used the fulll capacity off grid. Just a good mid budget computer.
Any idea if this laptop has a Cmos Battery?
