Was there on the 8th with Adventures on the Gorge, orange raft. Flipped once doing an alternate line at the end of Lost Paddle. Looks like you all spent a lot of time in the water!
My group went on 9/9/23. My 63 y.o. dad fell out at the beginning of Lost Paddle and got fucked up on Hawaii 5.0. We thought he was a gonner for sure. There was a few groups after us where a lady drowned by Shipwreck. Although we had a near death experience, 10/10 would recommend
Our guide decided to dump the boat at the beginning of Insignificant…..large undercut rock to river left. Water wants you to go there. Too many out of state guides that don’t know the river. Done that river a good 12 times. Even a double upper. If your guide doesn’t know the river you may find yourself in a lot of trouble. Just saying. They just want your money, safety is third.
One of my favorite rivers
6:49 funny i already saw that line from an other angle on youtube what a boss move to baill the boat before impact! great edit!!!cheers
Yea I think that bail is pretty famous. It's been making the rounds.

In past few years there seems to be someone who does not make it. Either older, weak swimmer or swim to the wrong direction. But soo fun.
Just there last week did the new and that was just enough for me and Sharon 59 and 57 years old

I agree. We had a guide from Colorado one year. Put is in a tough spot a few times.
That's been a problem beginning way back in the late 70s early 80s...
