As an American, I don't really understand the intricacies of British royalty, but with all due respect, God save the king. May he live long and make a positive impact on our chaotic society the world over.

I'm not a member of the monarchical Royal family , but I have enough empathy to show a bit of respect for a family that have lost their mother , great grand mother and grandmother.

People can say all they can about Charles , even tough I haven’t been a fan of him , but I do have empathy for his loss , you can see in his eyes the pain of losing his mother . This speech was very poignant and beautiful.

What a wonderful first speech from King Charles iii dedicated to his loving Mother & Queen. I cried when he spoke about Prince William especially when he pronounced William & Kate The Prince & Princess of Wales. I hope I live long enough to see them become King & Queen Consort.
I also shed a tear when he spoke with such love about Camilla The Queen Consort. They really are a beautiful loving family.

It was unexpected even at her age. She will never be forgotten not only because she was queen but because she was the best monarch i can think of. A legendary reign we all lived to see. And honestly i feel like charles will be a good king. He is mature and not a child anymore. I trust him and i hope he does a good job. God save the King. Feels weird to say that when my granparents were born the queen ruled the Empire. Now she doesnt. The first time i hear the new old anthem is going to feel so strange and unnatural.

I in the past did not look favorable to King Charles due to all the problems concerning my princess Diana and Camilla but I changed my mind . We are all imperfect beings everyone of us and so is King Charles ! I was and am so very impressed with him being out there shaking everyone’s hands and his truely wonderful and touching speach he gave even though he just lost his mama ! I wish him only the very very best the love and support of the the British people and I will give him my support also . I so respected and loved Queen Elizabeth ! I will never forget her !!! May we have peace on earth and love each other!!
