Dear Amazing Domestic Geek Family, I hope this message finds you all well and thriving. I wanted to take a moment to share some important news with you all. Over the past year, I've faced some significant challenges on the home front. Balancing the demands of raising two small children while managing chronic migraines has proven to be more challenging than I anticipated. Unfortunately, the toll on my health has led me to experience tremendous burnout, and after much reflection, I've had to make the difficult decision to pause my video production for the time being. I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support you've shown me throughout this journey. Your kind words, encouragement, and enthusiasm for The Domestic Geek have been a constant source of inspiration for me. It truly warms my heart to know that my videos have brought joy and value to your lives. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and I am navigating these challenges with the well-being of my family as my top priority. I am taking this time to focus on my health and to be fully present for my little ones during these important years. While I may be stepping back from creating content for now, I want you to know that I am not saying goodbye. I hope to return to making videos when the time is right, and I am able to give you the quality content you deserve. In the meantime, I encourage you to explore the abundance of recipes available in The Domestic Geek archives here on RUclips and at thedomesticgeek.com. Hopefully, you'll find tons of great ideas to keep you inspired and entertained while I'm on this hiatus. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the most incredible community. Your understanding and support mean the world to me, and I am truly blessed to have you as part of The Domestic Geek family. Wishing you all the best, and I hope to be back with you soon. Love always, Sara Lynn
I am so sorry to see you go but I'm sure your great recipes will be put to good use until you return! Migraine was my worst enemy until I was in my late 30s and the medication always made me really sick to my stomach. Back then they made Jolt soda (a high caffeine soda) which really helped me but it is off the market now. I think a good homemade double shot caramel macchiato may help you if you have an espresso machine. Put a glob of thick caramel in a small cup, add 2 shots of espresso and stir it up, then add about 2 ounces of foamed milk. It should foam up, and then you drink it in about 2 gulps like a shot of liquor. I had classic migraine syndrome that caused me to black out and lose my balance without the headache for several years, but I also had the headache kind where I could hardly stand up and threw up violently. They eased off when I was about 48 which I think was attributed to a hormonal change. Migraine is debilitating for a lot of people and highly misunderstood. I truly hope you get some relief!
Dealt with migraines when I was younger, with five kids under 7. I hope you’re doing better 😊 Thanks for the delicious recipes you left up. Appreciate it.
Hi. I am severely disabled and confined to a Wheelchair, I have so much difficulties in making a wholesome dish that I can really appreciate and cook so easily....thanks to you, I've now found one....thank you so much....Craig
I’d prefer to boil the chicken b4 hand instead of adding broth & using my own broth healthier,Ramadan on the door steps keep us in your DUA From Jerusalem
I could eat chicken soup everyday of my life, I was sick for three weeks and I almost ordered chicken soup on Uber eats everyday, but now I want to learn to make it myself.
I just made your soup. I put kale and spinach chopped instead of broccoli and peas since I didn’t have it. It was absolutely delicious. I am excited my teenagers love it.
My 2 weeks search on Instagram and RUclips for the perfect chicken soup ended here. Ingredients are exactly the same as what I had in mind (especially with the potatoes, most of the videos I've seen had rice, noodles or pasta). This is awesome. I'm definitely making dinner tonight.. Mrs O, you're in for a treat!
wow wow wow!!! the most amazing soup recipe I've ever made in my life. even tho I didn't put any thime, celery, and peace it is still tasted terrific and creamy,,, i made 2 of your salmon recipe too and they are amazing. i tried other channels recipes and seriously it didn't taste good. i will never switch from now on!!
I made this soup the other day my husband and all my three children loved it :) I am making this again today.! Thank you so much for this great recipe love you 😍 💕 ❤
I made your recipe the first time I made chicken soup last year and it was absolutely fabulous! Great video! I'm making it again tomorrow but this time I am adding mushrooms and another potato.
Wow we finally found you. My 6 year old son was messing around with my cell and we lost the history of your channel. Thank you for sharing and God bless 👍🙏😎
Thank you for this video. My husband wants soup for dinner tonight I do make chicken soup quite a bit but I’ve been wanting something creamy so this will be perfect.
I can almost smell here in Australia .. looks terrific and easy to make. Those ingredients are what is normally in most peoples fridge. Many thanks for sharing this recipe. 🌻
Made this today ...was a hit!!! I did not use the tyme (as it is not a spice I like), but was still super delicious....thank you..Pam from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Just saw your recipe wow I mean I love soups. Had to try this one out. Was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for an easy simple yet delicious recipe. Lots of love.

Now I know what I am going to do with my scrappy turkey bits from when I deboned my Thanksgiving turkey. Usually I think of some kind of turkey casserole; this soup recipe sounds SO much better. I freeze leftover soups in 16 oz styrofoam cups, placing them inside a gallon-sized zip lock bag.
Thnx for sharing I made mine with chicken breast chunks Cooked them aside after stir frying with onions & garlic to get the fresh broth out of it (don’t like broth in boxes or canned ) Did everything else your way turned out amazingly delicious next time I’m using shrimp/seafood instead Paraguayan food s use milk & shredded cheese also corn flower ;;added curry powder ,black pepper Great for RAMADAN ☪️ اللهم بلغنا رمضان والامه بخير
I make a lot of soups. I fry the garlic and ginger first.I boil the chicken and use the broth to make soup. Add the cook chicken last.Beat one egg and add it last.
You were right! This recipe is the greatest! My 6 year old granddaughter gave it a big thumbs up! 👍❤ My husband loves it too and asked if it could be in our regular meals rotation list. 😋
I am planted-based, and I love vegetable soup. I didn't know I was looking for a way to upgrade mine until I saw this video. It will be easy to make this a planted-based one. Can't wait for the result!
Ok so i did it today because the weather is chilly 🥶 so I was looking to make soup but different cause I’m Mexican us is either caldo de Res o sopa de fideo 😅 … I cross to this video and I must say is the easiest recipe ever I love it I didn’t add the chicken I just kept all the veggies like a vegetable soup and MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT .. this gave me Panera broccoli soup cream yummy yummy … thanks for sharing this one ..
Made this soup today. Very delicious and easy to make. The only small addition was I made a cornstarch slurry to thicken the soup just a bit. It still wasn't thick enough for me after I added the cream.
Thank you so much for this chicken vegetable soup recipe I made it today and all my children loved it so much soup was a big hit thank you once again 🥰
I love this recipe was so excited to see how mine turned out.. but the lesson I learned is that don’t use steel pot for this. I used a steel pot and it burned my soup.. but overall I love this I’ll have to buy a pot like hers to cook..!
I added this info because no one did and I needed to know for my grocery list. Ingredients: Butter or olive oil (melted), next carrots, onion & celery soft. Then add garlic cloves (hot), add flour for texture. Cook up for 1 minute. Add 2 potatoes for hearty and fill you up. Low sodium broth or what you decide. Add boneless chicken breast, thigh or left over. Seasons: it depends on you. She is using thyme. Reach a boil. Cover pot. 15 minutes later all is cooked. Take chicken out chops up chicken. Keep soup still cooking. Take out thyme. Add more veggies, broccoli and peas or any greens... towards end for bright color (2-3) minutes. Add cream. Okay... New to your channel, popped up. Thanks
I love this soup I bean following you before you even have kids I started with your smoothies love all your cooking across the one that I have tried lol
Thank you for sharing this recipe, just finished making it, simple/yummy. Timing and technique cooking the chicken thighs, just right. From Tasmania, the island state of Australia.

Hi. I am severely disabled and confined to a Wheelchair, I have so much difficulties in making a wholesome dish that I can really appreciate and cook so easily....thanks to you, I've now found one....thank you so much....Craig
I like to sear the chicken (with a little bit of salt) first before adding it to the pot. Creates even more flavor.
I just throw them in the pot but my son says he sears all meats first. Said it locks in flavor.
Same !
Very nice recipe
Sear the meat in the same pot, not a separate pot. Sear first, remove chicken, add veggies and broth, return meat to pot. Adds amazing flavor.

You can substitute the sweet potatoes for the regular potatoes, they cook pretty fast as well. Great soup.
I just made your soup. I put kale and spinach chopped instead of broccoli and peas since I didn’t have it. It was absolutely delicious. I am excited my teenagers love it.
Many thanks for this amazing and opportune recipe. Baby Cole is so so ADORABLE! He has your eyes and is so photogenic too!
