Shetlandponys:
Tiny?? Sometimes.
Adorable?? Sometimes.
Cute?? Yes.
Monsters?? Defenitely!!!!
They're the spawn of satan, i have dealt with them so many times
Shetlands/ all ponies are not monsters. I've never had a bad experience with ponies (or any horse)
@@shivaliequestrian6758 .. Not all Shetlands are the spawn of the devil.. But I have met a few that are the spawn of the devil.. Very smart animals.. Ex: if there are two trees in front of them and you are riding them well they head right in between those two trees, be prepared to fall..
@@whyputaname Every horse has the potential to do that -- you just have to be kind and teach them the right thing to do. And any horse can be a devil and its not more likely for a shetland than it is any other horse
@@shivaliequestrian6758 .. I have ridden horses and ponies for a few decades and not once did I have a horse that did that to me.. On the other hand my first was a pony at the age of 12 and yes he was a devil.. Don't act like a know it all moron!!!... You DON"T KNOW!!!!

me: if you put a child on a pony its going to die
Edit: Oh my goodness! I obviously know that ponies aren't evil! This was a joke.
Most ponies I’ve worked with are more than happy to tear the throat out of a small child-
Actually me and my sister by the age of 2 were already upon one of our quarter horse mare,my sister used to swing by her tale, and sleep on her,we called her mama shame.
Don’t swing of his/her tail!! My my my... people.
Yeah
I ride a pony had no idea they tear the neck out of kids like me ;-;
So happy to see the Paso Fino included. They are quite beautiful as well as the the horse with the smoothest gait. Paso Fino = the horse with the fine step ❤️
if this guy actually knew anything about horses, he would not say its irresponsible to put a child on an average size horse. although miniature horses may seem safer, a lot of times, they are actually more hot-headed horses. Ponies are not always mean and stubborn, but they tend to be worse than most regular horses.
Jaymin Parent when i was 4 i had a 15.3
Yeah horses aren’t that bad they just don’t like getting hurt and what I always say it’s NEVER the horses fault
Jaymin Parent i was just about to comment on that
I thought miniature horses had weak backs and could not carry much weight. Is this true?
@@geomahomet1 im not totally sure, but i think minis actually have pretty strong backs, but either way, even with a strong back, you csn still cause damage if ur too big for the horse.
Shetlands are tiny and cute. Equestrians:" OH GOD, NOOOUUU!!!!"

I was checking if there are already coments like that. They definitely forgot to mention that shetties are the most stubborn and headstrong horses are.
He's right I have a Minni we use him as kid horse
Yes they are stubborn but I all depends on how you treat them
My pony is crazy I treat him perfectly that’s just how he is x and Shetland pony’s are actually no different from any other horse if they wanted to buck it would if it wanted to bolt it will it’s a animal it has a brain of its own I had a Shetland pony once and he was so naughty and cheeky sooo it doesn’t matter how big or small they are they can do what they want 😆
@Evangeline R my are really sweet so don't tell me how raise my horses
Narrator: The Appaloosa is the only breed able to do everything.
Arabian Breed: Hold my beer.
What do you count as everything? And how good does the animal have to be at it? I don't think the Appaloosa would be the only breed to be good at everything if you apply the standards you use for the breed to other breeds. I have been fascinated by the Connemara pony. In the 1930's, the 22 year old 15 hand Connemara gelding. the Nugget, cleared a 7'2" jump. A 14'1" half bred Connemara, Stroller, was one of only 2 horses to have a clear round in the 1968 Olympics. This pony is hardy, has excellent conformation and an excellent temperament. I think he jumps better than the taller Appaloosa. As you can see, I favor jumpers but each breed can specialize in something. When do you choose the Appaloosa at the best at a certain specialty? He is an all around good horse but so are many others.
@@geomahomet1 bruh. Shawna Marie Bloom didnt say that! It was the narrator who said it. Ugh, RE READ what they say before you hate 🤦🏽♀️🙄

Everybody always judges animals based on what humans tell them to do. Horses (and other animals) were not made to be our slaves! You can't judge the breed on how well the do dressage or barrel racing, because in all honesty, horses are animals that deserve to be free. Sure we can ride them, but most people don't really think of their horse(s) as (a) friend(s); they think of them as an animal that does dressage, and jumping, and all that for the owner. Horses shouldn't be treated that way! They have souls and feelings just like us, and they should be able to make decisions for themselves. Not humans bossing them around all the time. And even if you're gentle with your horse, you're still making it do stuff. You're not asking the horses if it likes what its doing or if it wants to do it. You just say "okay your going to do this and this and that for me". Its unfair to the horses. And then we go around judging breeds. People can say that a certain horse was "bred to do this and that" but in truth they were just originally born free and thats how they should have stayed. You can make friends with wild horses, ride them, do stuff with them, but not treat horses like you "own them". They are not property, they are living creatures with souls.

I know! I'm really salty when people get horse breeds wrong!
Theres a horse breed where it all gold, its called a palamino
@@pamrenfro5203 That's not true. A palomino is a type of horse coat, not a breed. A palomino usually is a horse with a flaxen mane with a darker body color. Palomino is similar to a cremello, but it is darker.

First horse I rode was at age 6 i England...later in Rhodesia, had horses...did pony club, did show jumping, dressage, polo crosse. at age 78 now, still so love horses and the memories .
I love Welsh ponies. I bought a Welsh for my daughter when she was 3 years old. Welsh ponies have great dispositions and are best for young children. Shetlands can be honery and stubborn and very hard for children to handle, I had a shetland run me into the side of a barn when I was young. Welsh ponies will do anything and aren't stubborn like shetlands. I also had Quarter horses and I love them. One that I owned would do anything for me. He was a great parade horse, barrell horse and I also roped off of him. I just had to point him to the trailer and he would load hisself. He was beautiful. When I had to sell him it broke my heart. I could put my two toddlers on him and he would act like he was 100 years old. Quarters are wonderful at least mine were. I had 3. I'm not able to ride anymore but I love being around horses because I love the smells. Even manure. I just love everything about horses and I hate slaughter houses. They don't deserve that or auctions.

Title: best horses in the world
Presenter: has to say america at least once for every horse.
Hi smalest horse breed is the Falabella, from Argentina, where we also have a polo breed known world wide!!
My first horse was a very badly trained 4 year old paint mare named Elsa , which got sold due to her inflicting harm to me many times, but is now is a herd with tons of other happy horses! my second horse, a rescue off the track thoroughbred mare named devinche, who was sold due to the fact that she wad just very jumpy and I wasn’t experienced enough for her. My THIRD, i know just stay with me here, was my dream horse a 14 year old golden colored quarter horse gelding, named Doc, with AMAZING marking like his zebra stripes on his legs. He was a ranch horse and no training but, we kept him since he was so sweet gentle and calm! We’re still working with him after two years but he’s doing so well and I’m so proud. We also have a 4 year old paint gelding Wyatt which I’m riding once a week and a trainer working him the other days, and is doing very well :)
The Arabian horse is the best type of art, drawing and display, it has beauty, curves, a perfect body and head, the fastest horse, very smart and emotional, and hates those who insult it and has strong endurance
Any one who has owned a pony knows that they are little devil's! I to be honest would only put a kid on one of my ponys. She's old and is calmer than my others so yah
My childhood pony was the absolute devil and the reason why I have a good seat ,he always thought he was a full on bucking horse
Check out my comment, I said the same thing! Non-horse people, ugh
The meanest horse we ever owned was a Shetland!
I would happily put a kid on my 15.1 hh waler rather than my pony 😂😂

Interesting. My comments disappears if I mention an Indian tribe once native to Washington state. They were the ones who should be credited for creating the breed now known as the Appaloosa. And the the Morgan Horse is the state horse of Vermont as well as native to it.
not sure how you can say that when in general the appaloosa was a known breed by plains indians far before the west was even discovered?????
Morgans are my favorite.
@@sach-moadams7014 Spanish horses escaped or were turned loose in the early 16th century by Spanish explorers and colonists. They spread across the plains, and were domesticated by the various tribes so that when the first whites came exploring (Lewis and Merriweather) in the upper plains and Northwest the tribes all had horses an were superb riders. The Nez Perce (Absaroke in their own language) had bred the Appaloosa (named after the Paloose Valley). They lived in what is now eastern Washington state and northern Idaho.
The Indian tribe is the Nez Perce.

What about the Morgan Horse? This was the first breed of horse established in the United States. Many soldiers, especially those from New England, rode Morgans during the Civil War. Morgans are the only breed of horse that was officially bred by the US Government. When horses were no longer needed by the government, the breeding farm was turned over to the University of Vermont, which still breeds Morgans.

@@shivaliequestrian6758 huh. Tekes have influenced a lot of other breeds as well and is one of the oldest if not the oldest breeds in the world... Some say Akhal Tekes are grand fathers of Arabians, but that's still up to a debate. Heroditus tells us that the Arabs following the army of Xerxes rode camels not horses and that there were no horses to be found in Arabia. In any case most horses can do most things at one level or another. There is often a bigger difference between individuals within a breed than between two separate breeds. Generally, Tekes are taller and faster than Arabians and I personally find them more attractive then Arabs.. Might be biased here for I'm from a Teke tribe as well :)

The bigger the horse, the more a gentle giant if treated lovingly! I know from personal experience! :) The Friesian horse is the most impressive in my humble opinion!

belgium draft: “huge horses u will have to have the confidence of a life time to ride it because it’s 16-17hh” *me with a 17hh horse at the age of 13*
sorry i am going off but this guy is really annoying me rn
“it would be obviously be a unreasonable idea to put i child on a full grown horse” *me with a 15.3hh at the age of 4* HE IS SO ANNOYING IM SORRY
You're being super rude. If you have something this rude to say, keep it to yourself.
Shivali Equestrian i’m just saying before you make a facts video, learn the facts forst
1. Some fly masks are called masks, however. Also, not all horses under 14.2 are ponies, it depends on the breed and sometimes even varies by the culture they originated in.
Falabellas are referred to as miniature horses, not ponies (because of their build), as are Caspians, smaller thoroughbreds and Arabs etc. The pony vs horse height divide isn’t as black & white as it might first appear.
I’ve even seen someone on Facebook before saying a shire foal is a pony... because they’re pony sized as they’re growing. But they’re always horses!
All horses are amazing!
Akhal Teke? A breed thousands of years old and now believed to be the ancestor of the thoroughbred. One of the most beautiful horses in the world.
Love these gorgeous horses
He can’t pronounce dressage!! Not a horse person!🤣😂
I started busting up every time he said it!! Makes it hard to take the video seriously
,aaaaaaaaaaaרבקה
Lol
I felt like that saying "it's dressaaaaage"
Actually, in some places, thats just how people pronounce it. Don't make fun of them.
I'm missing the shire horse on there! Huge beautiful beasties them are.
I was watching for them, cNn believe they were not on the list.
Shires are British... and this guy is obviously American... can we just acknowledge a certain lack of knowledge?
@@citrinedragon1466 I mean.. Fresians are Dutch, I don't think breed origin has anything to do with it lol
@@citrinedragon1466 are you attempting to imply that he's an American therefore he is ignorant? if so, that makes you pretty ignorant yourself. Just saying........
Chanda Gunter .. Actually, no I wasn't. The reason I said American was his choice of animals, not implying ignorance BECAUSE he's American. Each of us know better what animals, whether horses, dogs, cats or even cattle are common in our own country. His choices just seemed more American (whether Canadian, Mexican, etc type American, or not) than mine would be (I'm an Aussie) and my comment was about his ignorance, not that of a particular place.
All horses are beautiful
Horse are simply beautiful, no matter the breed they are God’s most graceful animals on 4 legs!
It’s pronounced dressage (dress-aj) not dressig.
Also, the Lippizaner should be on here.
*Lipizzaner
my favorites mustang, quarter horse , arabian , all multi functional horses, just as a passing note when you mentioned state horses while i am not sure of its official status one can hardley miss a missouri fox trotter as the state horse of missouri
Somehow the Lipizzaner was utterly missed?! Anyone who knows horses, know that Lipizzaners are amazing steeds befitting of recognition.
All horses are amazing
I think you should consider the MARWARI HORSE for their beauty
No, marwaris haven't played a huge part in breeds. This was not a "most beautiful horses video"
@@shivaliequestrian6758 you're right, it was a "most incredible horses" video. therefore, marwaris should definitely be in here.
@@pogpogpog7507 Ig its just opinion (tbh I love marwaris they're from my home country lol) if it was me I would put thoroughbred, holsteiner, friesian, Andalusian, etc (you get the point) but no ponies because he legitimately said most incredible horses xD
have a good day (or night, its night for me )
@@shivaliequestrian6758 I mean, you said they shouldn't be included because they "haven't played a huge part in breeds". I was just pointing out that the video wasn't about breed relevance.
I reckon they should be included. I'm personally not a marwari fan (love the ears, but the rest of the body feels weirdly disproportionate imo), but they're *definitely* an incredible breed. the marwari (and kathiawari) are the only breeds to have such unique body features, so they should definitely be included. it's not even a matter of personal opinion, it's just logic.
i’m totally biased (i own a beautiful thoroughbred mare) but thoroughbreds will forever be my favorite
I love horses there just so beautiful
Really happy to see my Clydesdale babies and standardbred babies
I am thoroughly surprised at how accurate the facts were, and the fact that you (mostly) chose the right photos/videos of the breed you were talking about! Most people can’t do that, so kudos there
yes, exactly! I mean, he got quite a bit incorrect but he did pretty good! I've seen so many videos where they'd be talking about arabians and then blatantly put a warmblood in there XD
Everyone: 'Centimeters"
America: *h a n d s*
Seriously, I don't know why we're moving away from hands. Horse Hands is one of those unique measurements the equestrian world lays exclusive claim to and there's no reason to change it. I can learn how high jumps are in metric, I'm trying to teach myself metric, but I refuse to convert from horse hands to centimeters. Don't worry, the America isn't on its own yet. The transition has been such a tricky one that people still use hands around the world.
but countries outside of the united states also use hands to measure horses
Im so glad u did one on horses i love horses
I love horses ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🐴🦄🐴🦄
