He had some monster jams - Too Funky, I Can't Make You Love Me, I'm Calling You, Different Corner, Father Figure, Hard Day, As (a duet with Mary J Blige), Heaven Help Me (his backing vocals on Deon Estus' solo debut) ... check his catalog out; you'll find some great stuff.
George Michael wrote this song when he was 17 and added his friend and partner Andrew from WHAM to the credits so that his friend would never have to worry about money. It has certainly paid off. This song is a monster. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤑❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Edited to add George Michael is blue eyed soul winning several awards in the R&B/Soul category including Grammys and AMA’s 🔥
GM was definitely more than just pop. Within many of the arrangements, you can hear heavy jazz or R&B influences. Great music will either make you think or feel. Whether it’s the dance floor or the bedroom, George’s music made you feel.
This is CLASSIC slow jam by George Michael! THE JAM! You should check out the song "Everything She Wants" by him too! That was a MAJOR club joint back in the mid-80's!
Younger folks always hear parts of, or the hook of a song, but rarely the entire work. It's great to hear and appreciation these great classics in all their glory.
They called this “the 2nd British Invasion “ this was a monster hit! Wham! Sade, Thomas Dolby, The Thompson Twins, Loose Ends, Culture Club...it was nice!
SO glad you reacted to this classic and I always enjoy watching your videos. ❤️ And yes, George Michael had a lot of SOUL music. Please please check out "One More Try" from him next. 🙏 It's one of his biggest hits, it's a soul/R&B song, and it's one of his best vocal performances EVER.
R.I.P The Legendary Iconic George Michael He Definitely Was A Beast On Both Sides Of The Musical Spectrum As A Writer And Producer RIP To Deon Estus Who Recently Passed Away On Bass Guitar Classic Slow Jam That Put Wham On Notice In The R&B World
I was a teen in the 80s when this was a big hit but I didn't appreciate how good it was. Now it sounds absolutely amazing to me even if I heard it a million times.
Gorgeous song. Classic in all respects. There is a new artist named Le Flex. He reminds me so much of George Michael. Check out his song, 1 U Want. Deep sensuality.
Braroma, THANK YOU! This is why I always have trouble on this channel resisting commenting on every other video, because subscribers like you pick such LEGENDARY music like this. This one ALWAYS makes me cry! 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️🎶🎵☮️ RIP GM
For the most part, this is a Wham! (the duo he was one half of, with Andrew Ridgeley, before going solo) track from 1984... Put this together back to back on a playlist with 'Smooth Operator' by Sade, also from '84, and you've got a helluva one-two punch of sexy and sophisticated R&B/Soul with some Jazz elements thrown in for good measure. 😎🔥👍🏽
You should try his solo stuff to get a real idea of who George was, start with Kissing a Fool or One More Try. He actually produced this song himself after he wasn't happy with the version the LA producer made, he flew back to London and did it himself.
Watching reaction after reaction to this song, and a lot of reactors... Where do I know this hook/song from? Deadpool... Yes, maybe a commercial, or supermarket, but it was in Deadpool, remember Wade's going to blast this outside Vanessa's window in the next life.
Great song, great react. Constructive criticism though, your mic level is wayyy too low compared to the music, I kept having to lower and higher the volume during pauses. Subbed regardless though.
One of the most recognisable sax solos ever - beautiful song
I adore George Michael. He was a gentle soul. His music is joyful and heartbreaking. Please listen to his album Older, great jazzy soul music.
I really laughed when JJ said classic "she's leaving the country" I actually did the same thing years ago
Careless whisper one of my favorites.
A classic track.

What a talent! He is in the ROCK and ROLL HALL OF FAME! His catalog is deep! Wham! Solo career! He left us too soon! 😎❤️
Classic cut!!!

A beautiful classic George Michael song. Never gets old❤

A nice song singularly transformed into a timeless classic by George Michael.
The sax lyric was used many times n yes George wrote it. It took 11 sax players to try n get the sound George wanted. He wrote this at 17 on a bus.

He wrote this song when he was 17 years old and that is mind-boggling
WOW!!! One of my favorites. You have to do his ONE MORE TRY BY GEORGE MICHAEL....PLEASE..LOL
This was a Big Big Song when it came out ..
Another great selection to react to. He is one of the greatest singers ever! I found IM YOUR MAN when he was in Wham one of his best.
Classic. That 80's British invasion. The upper echelon of pop music !!
I LOVED this song since I was in middle school You know George Michael wrote this song when he was only 17 yrs old ..This is definitely a CLASSIC .🤗
I didn't know he wrote it at such a young age. The lyrics "guilty feet have got no rhythm" are definitely original!
Probably my favorite George Michael song nice one
Kissing a Fool is beautifully arranged too; check it out if you haven't already
I was a teen in the 80s when this was a big hit but I didn't appreciate how good it was. Now it sounds absolutely amazing to me even if I heard it a million times.
RIP Deon Estes on bass. He did the jam " Spell" that you reacted to.
I had no idea he passed. That is sad. He had a song I liked a lot in 1989 called "Heaven Help Me".
RIP to the OG Deon Estes 💯💯
George Michael had so many bangers with Wham and as a solo artist. The Edge of Heaven is definitely a Wham banger!
One of his most beautiful tracks is Jesus to a Child.
Gorgeous song. Classic in all respects. There is a new artist named Le Flex. He reminds me so much of George Michael. Check out his song, 1 U Want. Deep sensuality.
Listen to his older album and and the b sides to spinning the wheel. A soul/jazz album
George also produced his own music.

Wham songs are all written by George Michael (or when it's not it's not Ridgeley who was involved I heard) but yeah it was on a Wham album ^_^
I love this song. Even tho it has been parodied SO MUCH....I mean.....it is ridiculous..LOL. It still stands on its own merit - all these years later.
Romance? Love this cheater song - classic and yeah - he got great as a solo
Awesome track for sure. Timeless.
Check out his song “Kissing a Fool” and “Cowboys and Angels”

What is the song in the intro?
ronnie laws - every generation
This is really WHAM featuring George Michael
You would probably know it from DeadPool.
George Michael has a lot of songs with this laid back, jazzy soul vibe. Try "Cowboys & Angels" or "Kissing A Fool".
