I completely agree! This song will always be one of my very most favorite songs of all time! I have several copies of this Double’ album on cd and vinyl! The title of the album is Blue. I was really happy to see someone his age discover such a gem of a song all these years later! It’s so depressing to me that so few CD’a and vinyls exist these days! I hope so much that eventually this will be reissued at some point in the near future.

Thanks for playing this song! It’s been a long time favorite of mine since it first came out in 1985. remember hearing this all the time late at night in bed and half asleep, It always felt like it played for hours even though it was only just passed four minutes. I still listen to it all of the time! Your channel looks great and I hope it continues to do very well!!!

I never lumped this song into any category. They're calling it "adult contemporary" or "doctor's office" music.
These descriptions are rather crass and not fair to the song. I mean you people here, give it a break for being written and recorded, miracle that it is. That's how much I think of the tune. It isn't right to pigeon-hole great music like this.
    Thanks for reacting to it.

I pronounce it Dubble too but, I am from the U.K. and thought that was how it was pronounced. Given that they are from Switzerland though which borders France, Germany and Italy should imagine that’s how it’s pronounced there.

@@Bludngutz I wasn't aware that it was pronounced that way, but given that Kurt and his late pianist were from Switzerland, it stands to reason that it would be pronounced Dooblay although, I would have thought if it were said that way, then there would be an accent on the " e". Still yes, a great mid 80's number .
