George Michael wasn’t just a pretty face. He was an amazing song writer, singer and human being. Miss you so much, George 💔 I suggest listening to Jesus to a child, pray for time, father figure, outside, a different corner …. Sooo many songs
praying for time is my favorite. The lyrics pierce my soul.
I love all of his songs but careless whisper is my favorite.
Such a pretty boy- Remember it was a bummer when the girls found out he was gay. Lol
I was heartbroken when I found that out! Doesn't stop me from loving him, though!
Actually, you didn't hear what George said about this. He thought It might, But if anything It got bigger! Men & women loved him no matter what. George is as sexy as ever, and musically, It specks for Itself, It has always been magnificent! Always.
I knew the "bad girl" in this video, beautiful person nothing like she played here, she was actually a model who was chosen for her "look". She unfortunately died way too young of cancer in 2012, rest in peace sweet Madeline.
Wow never realized she passed life is unpredictable
Oh no. She was stunning.
That Sax sound gets me every time….I’m a 80’s baby so my mama played this all the time!
You have to listen to "one more try" "freedom" , so many more great songs, he had an incredible voice. RIP George ❤
This is just the beginning of George's solo career. He is about to knock your socks off. He gets better & better after this.
Totally agree
This actually isn't a solo song. It's Wham
@@eljobo3258 Yeah, I know but even then Andrew was slowly being overshadowed by George even though they remained friends.
@@eljobo3258 it was released in the UK as a solo song
Today is the songs release date anniversary 7/24/84. 37 years ago classic song
The problem with today's music is the lack of saxophone
This was a huge, huge......and did I say HUGE......hit in the 80s! I still love it!!!
I don't think it's possible for a song to be as big today as this was then. Music is too fragmented. This song was EVERYWHERE.
" kissing a fool " he wrote this aged 25, it has a jazz feel to it, the video is awesome, you would like it ❤️ It's my no 1 track of his ❤️
You need to react to
EVERYTHING SHE WANTS
SICK BASS LINE
Somebodyyyyy tellll meeeeee
Check him out in duet with the legendary Aretha Franklin (Knew You Were Waiting), he was pretty young and Aretha is prime form.
U need to react to "FREEDOM " by George Michael. You seem to have similar tastes in music as I do. That's my favorite by him. It will make you get up and move.
"Freedom 90" is better ;)
"Everything She Wants" and "I'm Your Man" - George Michael in Wham!
As soon as I read your comment I started dancing. Lol. Have to go listen to those now.
Wham Rap!! Wham bam I am a man, they were so young!!
Check out his songs like “Faith”, “One More Try”, and “Father Figure”.
3 of my favorites .Thanks for suggesting.🇺🇸👍hi from NORTH CAROLINA
I'm not gay, but I would definitely go up my man George.. ipotamy of human sensuality. His voice my lord
Right?
The sexy saxophone! So glad to see you back, also with that great smile of yours🙋❤
PERFECT! Nothing is wrong in this song, he was, is and will be Perfect! He made music history with Carelles whisper
Love you George, wherever you are
George Michael and Andrew Ridgely wrote this song when they where about 17 years old 👌🏻❤
One of my favorites, released in 1984. I remember where I was, because it was always on the radio.
1984 …. Start of MTV. The videos were the best in the beginning.
4:35 that's the sound of the 80's you are thinking of 😉
This was another jam that was such a big hit! That's the saxophone, super sexy.. lol Great reaction Twon!!!
One of my favorite songs of all time is his "One More Try." :D
To this day, I still have not found a single person that genuinely dislikes this song. It's just so soulful.
George wrote this song before he became Wham, he was 17 when he wrote this classic.
R.I.P George Michael..LEGEND !.
something about the sound of this song gives that weird deja vu feeling, that 'where have I heard this?' vibe, it was like that even when it was new in the 80's
AGREE. Hi from NORTH CAROLINA. I was 19 when this came out. Ohhh the memories.Time flies too FAST👍🇺🇸🌹
I'm a London girl and the 80s club scene for all kinds of music blossomed. We had an awesome time. Yes it did have that vibe even then; George was an old soul. (RIP). My personal favourite is "Different Corner" as that song has been true in my life, quite literally, so many times. Plus it's beautiful. Greetings from East Coast of England.
It really was. My dad was convinced it was a remake of something.
React to George Michael’s “ONE MORE TRY”. Crazy vibes.
He won't be ready for that one
THIS needs to be the next George Michael reaction!
RIP George Michael. Great songs are Everything She Wants and Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me
I met him coming outof a rest stop bathroom and there was a trucker in there...wondering what he was doing, lol
Everything she wants is awesome.
So many great Wham & GM songs.
George Michael was Gorgeous!😍 May he Rest In Peace, Beautiful One🙏
Can someone please bring back the beautiful love songs like we had back in the day?
Please listen to George Michael and Elton John singing Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me together in concert. R.I.P. George Michael ♥️
Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Whitney Houston and people seem to forget????
But also George Michael ruled the 80s!!! That is a fact! Their music outshines everything!!!
And they managed to swing into 90s!!
Not seen this kind of MEGA STARDOM since!
He sadly died on Christmas Day 2016. 😢
Did you know George's sister Melanie died 3 years to the day of George's passing. Shed died of a broken heart for her brother!
He was iconic, we lost one our best talents ever,go watch his other stuff
Hello Twon, I'm taking It as your name. Let me just say you just have 30+ years to go. George wrote, sang, arranged, produced,& designed his videos. You've really only scratched the surface. But It's a good place to start. This song is legendary. My suggestion is to work your way up through the years of George's career. It would be a disservice to yourself to not really cover through as much of George's music. Video's, concerts, interviews, recording studio recordings, anything you can find. This man is something beyond anyone you've known anyone else to be. George is actually beautiful inside & out. George is a dream, a man among men, & very very, sexy, all through the years. His range in all his music is huge, and done w/ expertise, It goes from Pop, R&B, soul, jazz. There are many great suggestions below, check them out. My suggestion would be STAR PEOPLE, This will get you moven! ENJOY MY DEAR, You are in for a big ride. You can't beat George Michael! Till next time!
My 53 year old daughter loved herself some George Michael when she was a teenager.
My bro...try George Michael...father figure. That's my shit right there fam
Haven’t heard this in few years, sweet sound .just one more try. By George Michael is another good one.💯👩🏼🦳
MORE GEORGE MICHAEL 💞🔥🍿🥰✌🏼 BANGERS
The look and the voice were both perfect. What often gets over looked is the writing, arranging and producing he brought. My recommendation would be to go to the song Fastlove, which shows the range of styles GM could master.
One thing that I appreciate about you is that you actually look up when songs are first released to put things into context. Too many don't do that.
The world cried when we lost George Michael...a heartthrob and incredible talent.
The 80s were the best!! You just can’t beat that decade! George was an amazing singer! Watch one more try!!
The saxaphone is my favorite instrument as well. It just puts you in a mood as soon as you hear it🔥
"One More Try" is a must.
My personal choice for best pop song of the 80’s, you can argue that but for me it is… it will never get old for me
George was 17 when he wrote this track. Took 10 sax players to try out before he found the right one. There are many great artists out there. But they are always looking for that great song, that great producer that great musical director. Not George MIchael, he wrote, sang, produced and did most of the music to all his tracks. He also did it with the WHAM songs. He did it HIS way. I'll never see another George MIchael in my lifetime. HIs band and backup singers were also great. Many stayed with him since his WHAM days. He collaborated with the best of them, Aretha (won the grammy for best duet), Whitney, Stevie, Smokey, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Queen, Elton, Garth Brooks, Elton, Beyonce, Pavarotti, etc. etc. etc. My fav will always be "As" with Mary J. Blige.
Different corner or Don't let the sun go down on me by him are the best
if you like the sax so much you need to check out Kenny G's "Songbird". This is totally instrumental alto sax and it's beautiful!!!!
Two other songs I highly recommend are "Where did your heart go?" which has some serious and excellent saxophone throughout, and an amazing and high energy vibe song "Papa was a rolling stone". Check those out next. I am certain you WILL love them both.
That saxophone gets you everytime!!
George Michael is only my favorite singer in the whole wide world. Love and miss you, George!
Mine too xxx
Mine three :)
Glad to see our king twon is back. And was it the start of the song with the saxophone😁💖x
My favorite by GM is Kissing a Fool...though I find it difficult to pick just one!!
I KNEW as soon as I saw that you were going to react to this thatl the saxophone in the intro was going to get you. Lol. Seeing as though I was a teenager when this was released, I am feeling pretty OLD. LOL!!!! Naah, I refuse to admit i am old. I just older.
He's got such an amazing voice. RIP George Michael! For a more upbeat dance song of his try "Faith" or "Freedom 90"next!
Love.. Love .. love me some George❤️ such a talented man gone too soon..
“One more try” by George Michael is a must listen
Ohhhhhh I loved this man. Never been a sexier man to either a man or a woman. I cried when he admitted his true feelings. But I adore and miss my Michael
Not many people who can write, produce, play all the instruments (and oh sing their own songs too) when in their teens/twenties. That was George Michael. Watch anything live from him…never a wrong note…perfection. Watch him hold his own with powerhouse women like Aretha Franklin, Mary J Blige and Whitney Houston. Watch him pay tribute to one of his friends and idol Freddy Mercury at the Freddy Mercury Tribute Concert where he blew everyone away. George died on Christmas Day and only after his death did we start to hear about all the charities he supported and individuals he help out financially that he didn’t even know but learned they needed help. He never told anyone about the things he did, that is not why he did it. How many superstars can you think of today or ever that would do that? George had a lot of loss in his life that he never recovered from. I miss him so much but like to think of him with his first love Anselmo, his mum Lesley and his little sister Melanie who died exactly 3 years after George on Christmas Day 2019. RIP George. I hope you are happy and at peace. Beautiful person with an angel voice.
If you like the sax check out lost in the fifties by Ronnie Milsap
Oh George ❤️
I still feel grief this man has gone 🥺 I loved this sweet man 🇬🇧xx
R.I.P. George Michael.
George Michael...My Dude!!!❤
I knew the opening sax intro would lay you down! This song was the last song at every block party back in the 80s! George Michael was sooo Smooth he could SLIDE UP HILL! Rest In Paradise George!
George wrote, composed, and produced his music. This is what he said about Careless Whisper (written at 17):
“I have always written on buses, trains and in cars. With "Careless Whisper"
I remember exactly where it first came to me, where I came up with the sax line... I remember I was handing the money over to the guy on the bus and I got this line, the sax line...
I wrote it totally in my head.
I worked on it for about three months in my head."
❤LOVE GEORGE MICHAEL
George wrote this on his school bus over many trips.
He sat in a quiet part of the bus away from the others so that he could concentrate.
Back when Miami was nicer.
George did all the backing vocals on this as well
Man.. haven't heard this in a long time. When George was singing this song alot of girls went crazy for him. He was good looking, sang like like a songbird, had an accent and money. Then he came out gay and STILL the girls wanted him. Same thing with Ricky Martin!! I was 14 when this song came out and I played it to my 1st crush in high school... man, bringing back memories ‼️🤣
He was 17 years old when he wrote this. A Greek Cypriot making the Greeks of the diaspora proud. Γιασου Γιώργο!
George Michael had A LOT of good ones that never made it to mainstream…..
“A Last Request” “Waiting For That Day” “Everything She Wants”(the 1st Hit)….for starters. Classic
I've been DYING to get your reaction to this. I knew the sax would grab you from the jump! 🙂 So glad to have you back and so glad you finally got to George Michael. Please do "One More Try" from him next. Trust me. 😉
YOU HAVE TO WATCH “FREEDOM ‘90” by George Michael. Of course I’ll say watch “I Want Your Sex”. It was ground breaking AND a great song. 😁
Check out Queen + George Michael ,Somebody to love. Freddie's tribute concert 1992. George Michael + Mary J. Blige - As. George Michael - live Killer (papa was a Rollin stone), Freedom 90, I want your sex, MTV Unplugged live - I can't make you love me
George was 17 when he WROTE this classic. I'm being soooo low key in this comment as one of his greatest fans since day one back in the 80s.
Listen, LISTEN. Go back and find Cowboys & Angels, Fast Love, I Want Your Sex, Everything She Wants (from Wham! his megastar duo with his best friend Andrew), I Knew You Were Waiting (with Aretha Franklin. Just find his GREATEST HITS! So much greatness to discover.
Been listening to George Michael since WHAM! Check out Faith. Everything She Wants "Father Figure Freedom 90"
He had a melodious voice
The Sax... Gets everyone every time.
I know George Michael wrote a song when he was just 17. When he recorded it years later it became a HUGE hit. I think it was this song, but I'm not sure. Anybody know?
Father Figure and One More Try are two of my favorites by George Michael
Hello hun , how you doin , nice to see you
Try George Michael - Fantasy (Official Video) ft. Niles Rodgers
Song by George Michael featuring Mary J Blige... name of this song "As".
most underestimated singers of pop-history. at first sight you think you listen to shallow pop songs, but if you really listen, you find his true, broken heart and soul, that took his life in the end.
what an outstanding talent! R.I.P.! i still light up a candle on your birthday - not just because it's my birthyday as well ;-)
PS: So if you want to listen to some more real soul and heart: "spinning the wheel"!!! do it, come on, dont miss it
Check out his collab with Whitney If I Told You That and with Mary J song title As. You'll love it.
Another “saxy” song…JoJo by Boz Scaggs…you would love it….smooth!
I Need You to react to KISSING A FOOL by George Michael, please 😊

This angel is one of the best singers (vocal) in the world!
Reactionaries, who have already made almost 7 thousand reactions (check my playlist) call her the queen of goosebumps!
I invite you to discover this wonderful talented young singer.
Please make reaction to Diana Ankudinova -
(rarest contralto with polyphonic overtones)
I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!!
She's now 18 and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, Spain and Arabic.
The covers she performed on that show are very popular on RUclips. Many RUclipsrs publish reactions on these performances, which include "Wicked Game", "Human", "Derniere Danse", "It's a Man's Man's Man's World", "Take On Me" and others.
Please react to one of Diana's songs and I promise she will surprise you.

George Michael was in a group called Wham. This song was on their album Make it Big. Please react to Heartbeat which was also on that album.
George was amazing. One of my fav duets is Knew You Were Waiting with the queen Aretha Franklin and George Michael.
This is George's Wham days. The other Wham bops are Credit Card Baby, Everything She Wants, The Edge of Heaven and Last Christmas. And his solo career is a sea of bops: Freedom, Faith, One More Try, Father Figure, As ft Mary J Blige, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me with Elton John, Jesus To A Child, and Monkey!
You've got to hear George Michael and Mary J Blige..."AS"
Sax baby!
his group Wham had a couple nice jams-try this one ruclips.net/video/Yf_Lwe6p-Cg/видео.html early mid 80's then he went solo
You have to react to this song called "a different corner"..he has had so many number one songs. He also did a remake of elton John's "don't let the sun go down"...check it out
This was No. 1 hit in UK in 1984 for George’s band Wham.
