Some of you might have already seen this on Mayhem's Facebook during the tour, but this is the first time we have been given the right to show it to you on our official sites.

EXODUS confirmed as supporting band!
King Diamond will be back on tour soon for an extra special event for fans - one not to be missed! As part of the set, the band will be performing the classic 1987 album Abigail in its entirety! The tour will begin on October 29th and runs through December 5th with legendary bay area thrash metal band Exodus as the opening act!
The full list of confirmed dates is below. Tickets are on sale now through Ticket Master or through your local ticket outlet.
King Diamond comments on bringing Abigail back to life: "This will be our most ambitious adventure so far. Sonically and visually you are in for one hell of an experience. We simply can't wait to start this first chapter."

Live or not, King Diamond's voice has improved SO MUCH now. The next album could turn out to be very impressive, vocal-wise!
It has. Funny thing is that the vocals on his last album were higher and stronger than almost any other previous album. Can't wait to hear a new one.

+Mohamed Akhbar Are you serious? He had a mix of soft falsetto and very strong highs on his last album, and some of the songs feature the highest notes he's hit since his early recordings with Mercyful Fate.

I was at this show and have seen both Mercyful fate and King a dozen times his vocals were the strongest ive heard since Into the Unknown tour in the late 90s.
King says he had a Satanic Altar but how come we have never seen it? And he said he sings about powers and spirits so we can use them to have a better life but never says how too use them?
The mis-matched guitar solos are annoying...whoever edited this just put a bunch of random shots over the music. I'm surprised they matched the singing. Still an awesome song but I wish they had at least tried to match up the music to the shots of the musicians playing.

I assume its because hes Danish but he sings in English and English isn't his native language. So he had to learn English to sing the lyrics? Something in that nature? maybe?
Yes something like that, my native language is Spanish.
I think what he means to say, is that because he didn't speak English, he LEARNED it so he could understand the Lyrics. Awesome!

THEM has always been one of my favorite King 👑 Diamond CDs and conspiracy and Abigail. They bring back so many good memories when I was a kid first learning guitar by playing along to them way back in the 80s and early 90s. They sound better live than their own CDs because they're some of the greatest musicians in the world.
Damn, I was at the San Diego fest for one of these, Such a damn memorable day. And I got to see KD at the Wiltern on Halloween night.. I think the year prior ? All while I was in the Navy lol I wasn't going to miss seeing the King anytime he toured close to where I was.

It's weird that this exists. The recording of this song is from 1988, but the live footage is from 2015? Only two of the people on stage even performed on that recording. This would be like Metallica in 2023 doing an "official live video" of Master of Puppets over top the original recording with their grey hair and Rob Trujillo frog walking around the stage miming Cliff's bass parts. I honestly don't get it.

i really love the solos and the story telling of this. them is still one of the best concept albums ive heard. i still get a kick when i hear the the part when he sings " how strange , shes spoken no word, i wonder ....grandma ...are you alright?" than you get the solo .

In many interviews with him it seems that is the case as he talks about living by the Satanic Philosophy of Laveyan Satanism. But then he talks also about how his religious beliefs are about Satan being the Powers of Darkness that are all around him that haunt him and that he calls on in ritual to help him with his desires
So does that mean his life philosophy is Laveyan Satanism but that his Religion is Theistic Satanism?
And King always says he sings about these powers to make us aware of them as it can lead us to a better life but he does not say how we can use them for a better life which defeats his point?

I just with king diamond would come to Virginia to Harrisonburg we have a place here to where he can play obituary just played two weeks ago unfortunately I missed out because it's sold out we were only given is 3 week notice before eventually came and played pissed me the fuck off man I was so mad when I found out that they were here and I didn't even get a chance to get a fucking ticket they were coming through from Denver and somehow the guy down here that runs the place where they hold concerts got in touch with them and ask them if they would do is show for $3,000 and John tardy said yes and I was like motherfuker I miss that show a lot of other people missed it too because it's sold out in 3 weeks man God dammit and if we can just get King Diamond to come to play in Harrisonburg that would be so fucking awesome I'm going to go find that guy that runs that place that holds concerts see if I can have a little talk with him

I just saw KD live in Chicago, and was shocked at how great his voice continues to be. He's lost nothing over the years. LaRocque is still one of the best guitar players ever in the metal genre. I agree this shouldn't be called a live video though. It's just random footage set to the studio cut.
