Amazing he can still sing as good as he did when he was younger. No pitch lost.
+/pol/ is always right He doesn't sing as high as on the studio recordings but he still comes pretty close. Unlike many other Metal bands that started out in the '80s, King Diamond plays the songs in the original tuning. They don't tune down to make it easier for King.
You can tell that he's struggling and he's not 100% in pitch, he's a bit low but still pretty good.

I was at last night's show that you video recorded this at and it was an incredible show!! Yeah King had an eye infection that was almost gone and said he would be back to wearing the make up in the next show. But King was absolutely on fire and singing the best ever Sunday night, his band was stellar, and you could hardly notice he didn't have the make up on since the lighting was so incredible and with all of the fog. They did a lot of old classics and songs from "Fatal Portrait" like "The Candle"(sounded absolutely perfect!!)and a good selection of songs from "Them", "Abigail", "Conspiracy", "The Eye", and also "Evil" and "Come To The Sabbath" from his Mercyful Fate days..The stage show and the lighting was incredible too!!

Damn, there's only one other of my favourite vocalists from back in the day that can still reach the highs and in with the rest of the band in standard tuning, and that's Michael Kiske from Helloween. But I've seen so many bands live in the past few years and can honestly say King Diamond was the best performance out of any of the modern or old bands that I've seen, it floors me when I think he can sing this well at 59 years of age!

I remember when i first time heard K D ..i was like holly sh..t...thats something incredible , K D been one of my favorite band since...i was about 12? wow..i m now 44 ..sh..t time running so fast, but this music never gonna be old ever..it lives in our hearts and good memories..funny is? i have never seen K D live :( what a shame..hope for future..
