Hi, my name is Salina and I live in a village in remote Alaska that shares my families last name. My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. I was born and raised in remote Alaska and met my husband in 2020 when he came to work for my parents resort. We got married in the spring of 2023 and love sharing our life with you all.

Im not trying to cause any problem ,but think you should call ur folks that stay with you should be called something besides cilents , need something more personal and a little care. I too owned two business for 22 years so i found that a little bit more care with calling people a more personal name . Like even their first names or first and last name or our guest. I know u get what im talking about. Thanks for listening and please dont think im trying to create a problem

Do you have any facilities for handicapped. People who use walkers and need elevators. Like if I came it would be to enjoy the view and atmosphere not to hunt and fish or get close to bears.
Seeing all those stairs, I am guessing no. No way I could do all the stairs.🥺
I wondered about that too. I would love to visit, but I'm not able to do the stairs either. I use a walker and oxygen, and I'm slow, but mobile. But not stairs...
Sorry but it's not down the road. It's Alaska, can't even imagine what it would take to have what you mentioned over there.
I didn't see anything on the website about the lodge being handicap accessible but as of 1993 all facilities must be by federal law.
Looked like a ramp leading up to the lodge as she was talking about the walking trail too.
Not sure, but I think you have to get there by those little planes. So if you can't travel in those planes, getting in and out of them, it probably won't work out.

Yes, he used to make them and sell them at the gift shop. I wish I had one personally, he is unable to make them anymore at his age
Hi Salina. I’m curious what happens if someone gets sick or injured? Do they get helivaced to anchorage?
Guessing someone like me in a wheelchair would have a hard time getting around by look of all the stairs but it looks beautiful

Selina do you have package deals..Does it cost more renting during the week then on the weekend..Do you offer weekend rentals, like Fri, Sat, Sun. And then week day rentals.. I would like to know do you have boats or canoes for your renters to use for fishing, do they have to rent them..
Your workers do they live in the area ? Or do they have to travel and stay in a staff lounge?
I'm sure you have been asked this already, but would love to see some fishing.

Good morning! I just love seeing my home state when you show your town, even if I haven’t been there, it brings back so many memories of AK and I can’t wait to visit my family & friends this summer! Yes, we are in the works of getting property in hopes to build in the future. The long term goal is to have our own little property to live off of
