I just happened to find your Vlog here and I am delighted to see what has transpired since I and two of my hunting buddies were clients at The Farm for a self guided hunt in September 1986. Glen was our operator and pilot. We stayed in the cabins for several nights between our very successful hunt and a following backing trip to Lake Contrashabuna (sp). Glens’s children were young. I remember Tom indication of who was 13 I believe and Chantelle and a sister. I am 81 now but my memories of that trip are so vivid. Thank you for your tour. ❤
Thank you so so much for showing us this. I understand sometimes living in a remote place can be hard. But you are so so lucky to get to live there. It is absolutely paradise.
This is cool to see because my husband has a reservation with his siblings next summer there as his dad's ashes were spread in Alaska near here and his mom wants to show all the kids! ❤️
Thank you for showing me what I could have been seeing every day. I almost came up to Alaska when I was 18. Why I changed my mind is beyond me. Your place is as beautiful as you are. If I ever do get up there I surely look up your place for a week or so. Take care and be safe.
That was a very good tour. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing what your camp has to offer. It is extremely clean, modern and is located on a beautiful piece of property. Keep on making videos and I hope your guys business continues to flourish. GOD IS SO GOOD 😊👍
A beautiful slice of heaven. I wish I could go there, that would just be so cool to just hang out in such a beautiful place. Makes me miss Montana when I was a kid.
Thanks for the tour Salina. Your home town is absolutely beautiful. I can only imagine waking up there every day. Just gorgeous. Those stairs though would kill this old girls knees.
Beautiful Lodge!! Your videos are absolutely amazing. Alaska is on my bucket list and hopefully someday I’ll sleep in one of those cabins. Tennessee is a long way from there!!!
Great tour. Thank you for sharing this beautiful paradise with us ❤ Looks gorgeous up there and the view, WOW, so amazing 💖 I really want to visit some time.
Wow! You and your family are blessed to have such a beautiful place with post card views Do you folks experience the 'midnight sun '? That would take a little getting used to, then why sleep?🙂😊. Live life full with the midnight sun. Thank you very much Salina for you showing and sharing with me/us the tour of the family lodge and cabins and the workout room..I would like to visit you and your family and see the Lodge and the community and the church sometime, we'll see how things go. Thank you very much for showing us a little bit of your lives. God bless you and your family ❤💯🙏
Thanks for the tour of your beautiful property. That’s insane that TikTok is banning you for the animals on the wall. I’d say I can’t believe it, but sadly I can. Alaska is so beautiful!
I feel like I'm inside the world of a nancy drew computer game from my childhood with you as my personal tour guide lol this is so beautiful and amazing
Do you eat at the Lodge Salina or you eat separately at home with your family? (Sorry, I'm new to following you on TikTok and this is the first RUclips video I've watched of yours.)
So glad I found this. aspiring future bush pilot lol. But for real Port Alsworth is one of my favorite places to land on the simulator and I would love to see it for real!!!! Keep up the youtube vids. I love it! Subscribed!
It's my husband's dream to see Alaska. I've been trying to figure out a way. I thought maybe a cruise. Now that I see this, I am thinking there are other options
Salina, could you extend your season by heating the cabins with small wood stoves? Beautiful. How is your avgas resupplied? I am guessing that every thing is not flown in. Best
The avgas is flown in. She shows this in another video. It's not on the road system so EVERYTHING is flown in. I don't know if it's connected by navigable water. It's more logistics and costs than just a wood stove to extend into the winter season. I'm going to guess that the guest cabins aren't insulated enough for the subzero weather and that the water lines get blown out at the end of the season to prevent damage and busted pipes.
@@tacrewgirl I wasn't suggesting a year round operation. Just adding one or two months to 'summer' operation. I did see that some supplies are barged in. AV Gas perhaps? Flown-in is big $$$. Likely too summer help returns to school. Best
I know in some cold areas with well water, they have heated electrical lines that go to the well to keep it from freezing. However I don't know what they do here.
Hey Salina...was that dry cleaning that I saw @ 1:18? We were in Alaska a wk ago on a cruise.... so beautiful! I must of taken 1000 Pics. BTW Love your channel.
Just found your channel. Would love to see more of these longer videos like this! It’s so interesting! Good job with the video. Absolutely ridiculous that your other platform has almost banned you for posting about your daily life and things that have been passed down from generations. I find that unacceptable and questionable in terms of discrimination!
Hello, I am from the states.....I would like to book a vacation......can you do a short video explaining package deals, flight deals, etc.....for example,....what airport would I need to fly into, then hop a shuttle plane to fly to the resort etc....how does that all work.
What? The hunted animals displayed in the kitchen lodge hit you banned from Tiktok? That's crazy. I think people need to be educated on hunting animals for sport vs subsistence vs safety.
It is currently Winter here in Australia & at the moment it is minus 3.4degrees - oh so cold. So in Winter what is the lowest temp. it gets to there? (You'll probably get sick of me asking so many questions.)
She is in Alaska -- Alaska is part of the United States -- They would get paid when clients visit and pay them for renting the cabin and other activities 🙂
Rapidly becoming one of my favorite channels. Keep up the great work! God bless!
Me too

I go to Alaska almost every year, but have never been on that side of the inlet - i'm going to have to come one of these trips!
The gazebo will be nice when it’s completed to sit outside. Maybe watching the sunrise/set ,with some coffee!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Those views are AMAZING! Thank you for showing us around. Would love to visit.
I love watching Alaska videos! ❤
Could you do a vid on how supplies get to your village? No grocs.... I mean like your atvs, trucks, the treadmill. Etc.
Thank you for showing me what I could have been seeing every day.

Is there TV and cell phone in the village?
This will be on the list of places to visit when my boyfriend and i get married!
It's my husband's dream to see Alaska. I've been trying to figure out a way. I thought maybe a cruise. Now that I see this, I am thinking there are other options
until I started watching YT channels, I thought I wanted to go on a cruise -- I have since changed my mind and would prefer a land vacation
Loving all of your videos!

I know you get electric from generators, but where do get water from? I'm sure the pipes to any kind well would freeze in winter.

Do people live here full time, other than those who work at the lodge?
Yes. She said in other videos that it's about 200 people.
Gday from new Zealand 🇳🇿 pretty cool

Odd that you don't provide a link to your lodge's website in the description.
Add it on potential destination 💙
❤❤

she is from the US as well -- Alaska is part of the US . The website is in the description
I just found your channel, where is the info for the resort??
The Farm Lodge in Lake Clark
I'd love to come to your part of the 🌎 world! (I live in 🇦🇺 Australia!)
Salina are your cabins pet friendly
How do you handle disable guests in w/cs.
I didnt read all the comments but why were your videos banned/received warnings?
Guess I should have watched entire video first, yup taxidermy was the reason lo I
@@pugsrulepeggy1827 TikTok considers it cruelty to animals

12:03 Did you say you see a doll-shaped witch on the mountain through the telescope? What is that about??
Dall Sheep
I have a question.. how do u get paid for working? Just like we do in the US? Just curious 🤔

Beautiful resort I wish it was wheelchair accessible though
