Hey Delos Tribe! I had a lot of fun working on this one! Learning about the weather patterns surrounding South Africa was awesome! Hope you enjoy :) Make sure to like, comment and subscribe for more Delos gooodness! Much Love, Mr. Brady
Hi guys. Im just an spanish guy that finished the work in Switzerland a couple of days ago and just luckely find one of your videos on RUclips ... result ?? I've got smashed your whole adventures (from 1st. to 105th)in t the last 48 hours ... and really... without any idea about sailing I just felt Delos as my own home ... you've created an special atmosphere between all of you & us throught of your dream, just unbelievable ... Keep goin and wish you the Best Wind on your trip. Best wishes me,Primo
Seeing the elephants up close was awesome, they should be wild and free and never chained. My daughter showed me one of your videos this summer and I have been hooked ever since, watching back from your very first one. I am in awe, love to see the different cultures and all the beautiful places you visit. Keep livin the dream and sharing.
I like the technical details in this episode, specifically around the current and coastal patterns of Africa. I find I learn something by watching your channel, unlike some other newbie sailing channels that either show you what not to do or nothing much at all.Keep up the excellent work around sharing your route planning and weather windows.regards.
Wow! What an amazing episode! Such a wild place - on both land and sea - and you guys are game for all of it. I swear, we your viewers are so lucky to see so many beautiful and exotic places through your eyes. Thanks for all you do, your creativity and your courage.
Dudes! Yet another most enjoyable adventure. Gotta say I get all emotional watching your videos. Such the adventure, such the traveling spirit. such good editing and great music selection. Along with Netflix etc.. you are my entertainment source. I am from US, but living in Berlin and watching you guys sail the world. Nice!
No matter the crew or the location, you guys always manage to put together a fun, interesting and educational episode! Best sailing/adventure channel on YT. Thumbs up as always guys!
So glad I found this channel. I love your videos!! I seen the video of ten years on living on a sailboat that prompted me to search for your channel. So awesome I started at episode 1 now I’m on 101. You guys make me want to quit my job and buy a sailboat( never been on a sailboat before) and cruise the the world. I have a fish boat and rented a few houseboats before. But sailing across the pacific would be terrifying for me as I’ve never had land out of my sight. But you guys made it look fun and easy. Can’t wait to see the next 100 episodes. Keep up the great work and sharing and I’ll keep watching. Never know one day might meet at a cruiser spot. Take care and be safe
Honestly, what else is there to do? I mean, if it falls off on a highway that's a different matter, but on a mostly deserted road like this it is just funny xD.
Another great call by Captain Brian moving over to Zululand Marina. Loved this video with all the weather considerations and explanations. Best video yet.
Thank you for your adventure in South Africa, I know this is two years old, but I hope this gets to you because it is amazing the things that God has created for us to see, and your lifestyle you are able to see more of it than I am able to, but I still appreciate God’s glory
Exciting episode, much to see and take in on both sea and land. Certainly worthy of a second run thru. Weather window analysis was most interesting, showing the importance of getting input from locals. May you enjoy fair winds, a following sea and swift passage
Live and learn. From now on don't rely on port control. Get a ride to where you can see the conditions yourself if possible or do the research like you did. GREAT episode! I loved the explanation of the weather systems.
thank you so much, been sick for two weeks now thus been able to watch all episodes and daydream a lot. Been checking out some other sailing channels also and they all suck so hard trying to copy what you have created. Please continue to rock the show like you do you hardcore sailors!! Safe travels :)
Yay!! The South African videos are here, awesome to see you guys got a good wild life experience so soon after arriving!! Can't wait for the next SA episodes! Happy travels from sunny Cape Town!
“Port control, port control this is the yacht Delos copy” wow the simple things I love as I continue to binge lol I am on vacation and enjoying Delos …copy
And that is why the portuguese were the greatest navigaters ever to sail the planet earth ! specially in their NAUs and caraveles fully loaded ... Yes i am portuguese, cheers from Lisboa/Sintra :D
Have to say what a great episode this one is, what a good move out of that Marina, you guys are so switched on! Great weather info, we feel a little trepidation as you feel a large amount of trepidation. Keep up the good work & sail on safely Delos🇦🇺🇦🇺
Inspired by you guys for sure. Six days and I am off to sailing school! The first step to follow in your wake. Can't even put into words what you guys have given me!
great video, thanks for sharing. usually not a big fan of the shore videos, but the animal adventures and port control drama was great! looking forward to the next one.
Happy to see you got a much better interaction with elephants than your previous one where the elephant was anchored with a chain on display on the side of the road.
Thank you for showing us the weather patterns and looking for weather windows! Wise move from rickety docks to the Yacht Club. How long were you there for? Loved the up close camera work of those impressive magnificent elephants. Holding my breath while you petted the cats. Really, don't do that for us. They are so unpredictable. So you left us with another cliff hanger. . . That damn spider bite became infected? Love these videos and great story telling with visuals!! Fair Winds!
Thanks Delos another great Monday morning checking out your African adventure (lucky you changed Marinas good decision ) with my coffee in -30 weather here in Canada .
Another great video. Relieved that you moved Delos to the Zululand Yacht Club after seeing the carnage at your first dock!! Hope your friends boats damage is manageable.
Loved your visual effects in describing the interaction between the weather and the current. Sure made it easy to understand. And the footage of the animals and the people you met was great as well.
When you watch a SV delos video and there's a boat in it that's from your freaking small hometown in Sweden! Hope they did sustain any damage to their boat at the dock. Also soo cool going back and watching your older videos btw. Keep it coming!
Great video guys. Brought back memories from my time in Tuzi Gazi marina (not all of it good) and Richards Bay but we too loved the game parks, the wildlife and the South African friendliness. Look forward to the next leg.
Hey, I discovered your channel about 1 week ago, and I am soooo addicted! I guess there are worse things to be addicted to! haha. But anyway, I must say out of ALL THE yachting/sailing video channels I've ever watched, yours is the BEST! There's just something about the way you guys edit and with the really nice music vibes - it's just so zen! Thank you for sharing your sailing experiences with us!
first, Brady i already wished you a happy birthday on instagram but HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN! second, that moment in the vid where you're all like " the dock we had wasnt really great...and you cut to an abyssmal dock...i cracked up hard", keep living the life.
Well done Brady!! This is gonna be one of your very best ones. You guys have really stepped up your game. Very concise explanation of how those weather systems form and how to take advantage of them. You must have been driving through a very dry climate when you and Karin were eating the grapes. Looked like maybe you both had a bit of dry mouth.`
27:33 idk if its cuz im high or what but when that car started moving, i thought Brady was driving and not paying attention AT ALL. Lol!!! Too funny. Cheers, Delos!!!!
Holy crap! A 6 Knott current. I fear my poor 15hp Yanmar would just about keep pace against that almost wide open! Really appreciate you guys, amazing footage of Africa. Those winds though! Damn!!!
Im at work sitting behind two screens watching this video. Twas a nice 33:45 vacation. I hope oneday I get to do the same, but for now Im saving my sugar. Were all just Ants on Freeway paths getting our sugar to bring home to the family. Good to see you guys are surviving Off the trail.
I had to catch up with quite a few of your past sailing years.. But now I'm on the hook. I simply love your videos, your adventures, the whole crew. And I really have to start going blue water sailing. I envy you more with every mile and every episode. Now I'm following you on marine traffic as well. If you guys ever decide to continue in Europe we'll have a party here where ever you are going. "Handbreit" (that's the short form of a greeting among sailors in german - meaning the size of a hand of water under your keel) from Katja
The graphics & animations make these episodes so much more viewable guys. Nicely done. The next few episodes should be interesting with cooler weather etc. Keep it up!
Great vid, great to see delos on my homeland and sailing down the coast, such an inspiration. im working hard to afford a sailing boat and also start my jerney. those weather patterns were insane...I love the fact you had something to smoke in SA. safe trip.
each friday i always try to resist and spread the delos video viewing into parts to make it last but alas 1 am here in kalamazoo I watched the whole thing and loved it. thank you
The Bay of Fundy is located on the Atlantic coast of North America in Canada and has currents as fast as 10 knots. But another great episode, Thanks Delos crew!
Holy Moly, Passas da India is unbelievable diving I'd say not many have dived it. I dived Mauritius a few years ago and was nothing like that. Keep up the cool work , your sailing is like that steak --Awsome , safe sailing dudes can't wait till you make it to Europe. :)
I'm happy to see you guys have such a good wildlife experience, especially with the Elephants, after all the bad feelings around that lonely guy in Thailand. Where are you guys in real time? I don't FB much.
Hey Delos Tribe! I had a lot of fun working on this one! Learning about the weather patterns surrounding South Africa was awesome! Hope you enjoy :) Make sure to like, comment and subscribe for more Delos gooodness! Much Love, Mr. Brady
beautiful. it's not always smooth sailing. can you tell us your biggest wave/ hardest weather condition stories? or any actual fear for your life
Sailing SV Delos I love you guys I will give up everything right now to be a crew member on delos
Thanks for explaining the unique sailing challenge of the south east African coast.
just get your own boat or find others, delos isnt the only boat
You did an awesome job explaining the weather patterns. This was one of my favorites.

Chuk de pattie!!!!;!! Thank you kazza for loving Brian so much and supporting him through it all
Exhaust falls off your car. What do you do? Pull out a joint and laugh. South Africans amiright:)
Honestly, what else is there to do? I mean, if it falls off on a highway that's a different matter, but on a mostly deserted road like this it is just funny xD.
My guess is that the joint was coming out soon anyway.
Love it

Good one, Brady. Your crew by far has the best "experience" videos on RUclips. Shot well, told well, sounds well and edited very well. Nicely done.

You continue to amaze..fair winds and following seas!!!! Just the best!!!
16:35 that elephant mouth shot was so cool lol. Great episode, thanks for sharing.
Loved the animal segment. Neat to see the animals not in a small zoo and they are able to run around and exercise.
thank you so much, been sick for two weeks now thus been able to watch all episodes and daydream a lot.
