One of the things I love about the ocean is she doesn't care about your age, accent, color of skin, or how good you think you are. She treats everyone the same regardless. Peace, love, and enjoy your weekend Delos tribe! Capt. Breeyawn.
Mike that is why guys like you and me need to work hard and get our own boats and follow brian's lead and get out there ASAP so we can live it instead of just vicariously through Brian and the rest of the Delos team. I admit though they set a huge bar.
Just recently discovered Delos here on RUclips. All I can say.... I LOVE IT. What an inspiration for having any kind of lifestyle you want!!! :) Thanks for sharing these videos.
Just checked your channel, Kiril. Love your way of telling the story of your journeys without using words. Your fingerprints are all over these recent Delos videos. Amazing transitions and montages. Curious, did you manually pull focus at 26:04, or was a happy accident caused by auto focus?
I have seen every Delos episode and you guys are firing on all cylinders right now. there is nothing more exciting on TV/internet. can't wait to see the next episode. Thank you.
The editing and imagery have grown exponentially from day one. The narrative has become epic akin to "A Man and the Sea". The draw for me each week is magnetic. Thank you Delos for taking me with you on this adventure!
I don"t know how to put this together......but you guys make my life so better in so many ways. The whole thing about sailing and having adventures with all this people plus visiting and doing things that other people can only dream of makes the whole "thing" so pure and innocent. I only can wish you smooth seas, weather and very, very long journeys.... Good speed and I hope will see each other one day. Big HELLOOO from Mississauga Ontario Canada...
Прекрасное видео. Эти ребята вдохнули свежую струю воздуха и подняли на новый уровень ваши видеозарисовки. Вот уже несколько лет смотрю ваш канал. Восхищен вами. Удачи
Thank you guys for so much for making my day better. It's clearly not as much fun desk sailing on youtube, but without you guys. I wouldn't be able to experience it. You make life seem so chill and fun. Never stop what you're doing.
The new crew seems to be settling in quite well don't forget they had some big boots to fill love the adventures love you all PS i'm new and still catching up with the episodes.
Great presentation, guys, you've really stepped up with your film making skills. You've always put a lot of heart into it and it's appreciated. Maybe the four winds take you safely home...
I love seeing the progression you and the crew has made. Your videos have changed soooo much since the beginning. I feel like I'm watching a professionally filmed/produced/edited weekly show now. And I love the opening music. Look forward to many more of these videos!
You guys are definitely going pro with your videos! Based on the weather forecasts towards the end of this video, the next one is going to be wild! Stay safe and keep having fun! James
Loved watching you guys come up with a fix on the fly. I don't know the first thing about sailing, but I like seeing people put whatever experience they have to the test and come up with solutions. Another great video. Fair winds.
The editing skills of Karin and Kiril are showing up already. Epic montage near the end. You guys just keep getting better all the time! Great to see you back on the ocean again.
You guys continue to wow the senses! Amazing journey so far. I feeling like I'm with you all there on Delos. Thanks so much sharing your wonderful experiences Gods speed....
Wow, you guys are really getting the hang of this video editing! That music montage 24:00-28:00 was VERY polished, extremely well done. Color me impressed -- and envious! Nice, nice episode.
my weekly fix, love it! Love the new crew and the difference they're making. My only criticism.......videos should be twice as long Safe sailing to you all
Robin Lee Graham is probably the reason I follow SV Delos and maybe a half dozen other boat. I was just out of highschool when I got the National Geographic issue with his first installment. I so eny all of you. All the best and keeping on pumping out videos.
And Brian's engineering know how and knowlege of mechanics about seals in particular again, saves the day. I wouldn't have the slightest idea about that bow thruster seal and how to finesse a short term fix on taking on water in the open ocean. What balls dude! Then again, it's a simple loose rigging cable/old age thing. Tension the loose cable rigging so as to not push the thruster on the seal out of it's outer hull seat every time a wave hits. Sweet.
Ok guys! I think this is your best video ever! I have seen them all. I am sure a wonderful experience for your guests too. To the man reading the book Dove. Robin Graham has written 3 books. Dove, The Boy Who Sailed Around The world Alone, and I think the last one was called Home Is A Sailor all are good and I have them all. 18 years ago my wife and I got the chance to take Robin and Patty to dinner. The nicest people you could ever meet. If I recall Patty was teaching and robin was doing custom woodwork. It was an honor to meet up with them. To my surprise at the time of our dinner Robin gave up sailing all together, and just wanted to live a private life in the mountains to raise their family. Can not blame them. If I recall at that time he had not ever sailed since. Truly inspiring though. I sure miss my sailboat. Safe travels to you all. Sincerely, Bill Connely
Loved the editing even more than usual. Your videos are always top notch. Easily among the best on RUclips. Its so refreshing to see a "reality" show that is ACTUAL reality. Its like a mini-vacation every Friday. Thanks Delos Crew!
Hey guys, another great video as usual! I just realized today that over the years that I have been watching your stuff you are the only chanel that I watch "long form" content from that can keep me engaged and entertained. Keep up the great work! Cheers from Toronto, Canada
South I/O.....Bold sailing, unpredictable weather. So glad we get to share the uncertainty of blue water sailing since some of us are land locked, thanks guys!
Another killer video. Karen, Kiril, great job. You really bring the ocean alive on this one. I've never been on a sailboat and this video shows it all! I'll keep dreaming
My Saturday morning ritual, coffee and the new Delos vid. It kills me to wait until Saturday to watch but the weekdays are too hectic to sit and enjoy these masterpieces. I absolutely loved the mix of both editing styles in this video. Just perfect!
The amazing montages (like the one from 24:10 to 27:00), transitions (24:28 to 33) instead of scene cuts, and HD footage (that wave at 3:30), for starters. These recent vids are just so satisfying.
Nah. Too harsh. They are exploring. Man, people are so quick to criticize. You go run a production on a rolling boat for weeks on end. Nothing will burn out a crew faster than doing the same thing all the time. Let them open up and have some fun. Nothing wrong with production value considering their platform. They are definitely not phoning it in.
I just loved the segment from 24m 10sec with the awesome music and even better photography, you guys just get better and better. Don't change your format your the best on YT.
Wow. So many comments. so much love in your Sails. Looks like the pain you go through together is what brings you closer and makes the destination so much more enjoyable. We're with you.
My GOD! Positively GORGEOUS video people!! I just recently went back & looked at all of the early Marquesas videos. Those were what got me hooked on this channel. The difference in production quality is amazing! Delos should head back that way & revisit some of those places... Maybe check out some of the places in the south Pacific that didn't get visited.
I dont know what it is about S/V Delos Videos I like so much more than all the other sailing channels on youtube. I am admittedly spoiled by production quality now but I still like your old videos too, whatever it is as long as you keep making videos I'll keep watching and enjoying every moment!
Great video love your new style of sharing your story. The time and effort you put into making your videos is outstanding. Great job. Can't wait for the next one. Your Canadian viewers🇨🇦🇨🇦👏🏼👍🏻🍻🍻🍻
Loving the new videos, edits and style of shooting are awesome! I loved the previous crew and was not sure how this was going to go but it's been amazing, thanks for the vids they are amazing!
An excellent episode, and wonderful to see the new crew getting their bellies aligned. :) Looking forward to the inevitable wonder that is the other side of all this - white beaches, perfect days, and the crew as tight as ever. Rock on SV Delos, you're a regular delight for us here in land-locked Austria ..
My favorite episode it the pics and the song taking it easy you could almost see yourself there, feel the sun on you, it's just a great segment of the shots and song fav by far I look this episode up all the time just to watch that one part
Typical sunrise on coast of indian ocean Africa I use to experience the same warm colours when jogging in Dar-es-sallam on Banda beach .Guys good luck have fun and safe journey. Fan from India, bombay [Born and brought up in Tanzania.at the colonial time] I have started watching all your episodes to fulfil my traveling love.
Great video. Good music and good humour but IMHO the reason your the best is your still primarily a video about sailing showing the reality of yacht cruising with all the challenges it presents. Well done!
Hey Guys! Thanks so much for the drinks on Delos yesterday, was so awesome meeting you guys in person and seeing Delos in real life, makes watching the videos so much cooler knowing we've actually stood on that exact boat. Happy travels and hope you enjoy the rest of your time here in SA!
ahh, that musical "takin it easy" vignette of short clips near the end was epic. Really really sweet. Props to the Editor. :-) Love the new bit with the log entries. Love to all on SV Delos and thanx for taking us along. Some of these truly get me thru the day.
This was your best video yet. You really caught the essence of sailing in the open ocean. Love the way Delos cuts through the water. Could watch those shots for hours.
Thanks for adding the log specs on the night watches. It brings me deeper into the groove. Nice going everybody.Great vibes on this new living arrangement. Music was a hit with me also.Fair winds my friends!
Guys ive loved your videos watched nearly all of them....Sad I know. But man your production quality and editing has gone through the roof. Your slow mo and zoom outs are wonderful to watch put to great tunes. Karen I'm guessing your loving doing them because it shows really lovely work.
Guys!last time I saw a video on your channel was 3 months ago. And today, I saw this one. I must say your video skills have increased a lot. They are much more appealing than the first ones. Specially in minute 25. Congrats to your media crew members! You are doing great job!
Can't say we're a big fan of the montage sequences in our house, We have a new Delos drinking game. Every time there is an arty close up of a rope tied around a railing... Have a drink! Keep up the good work, but don't change your style too quickly! Ease us into it.
I have followed you brothers and crew since about half way westbound across the Indian Ocean. The absolute best sailing video I have ever seen, and that includes any 'professional' movie. Great boat, good crew and great sailing. Terrific coverage of each and every topic, as it comes up. I'm doing chronological order so the story goes on. Good luck and good sailing.
Yeah Delos! Another great episode. We love open ocean crossings. No better way to test yourself and your vessel. Keep up the good work!. Aloha, Sailing Kaimana
Yup REALLY COOL stuff, agree with all of the below, I've been watchin all of these vids and said nothing but finally been flushed out of silence, it just keeps getting better!!!
This is one of the best sailing video's I seen to date. Middle section was beautiful filmed guys! Great combination of the great, bad and the ugly of sailing.
Another Great Video Delos, enjoying the new added video style, love the technical stuff, Lat/Long's, traffic en-route and good job with the bow-thruster en-route fix.

Sailing SV Delos Howdy, Delos crew, from Oklahoma
Sailing SV Delos I like that perspective, Brian. The convo about the boat doing the breathing for you had me giggling. Loving the new crew!
Sailing SV Delos I love this channel, best one on you tube
Sailing SV Delos damn what a beautiful video I absolutely loved it I don't want it to ever end I could watch forever.love you guys.
Mike that is why guys like you and me need to work hard and get our own boats and follow brian's lead and get out there ASAP so we can live it instead of just vicariously through Brian and the rest of the Delos team. I admit though they set a huge bar.
that was a great mix of shots with the "Taking it easy" song.
Jose Fontao yeah it was epic

YOH those were some treacherous days on the ocean! Baptism by fire haha! Good times
Just checked your channel, Kiril. Love your way of telling the story of your journeys without using words. Your fingerprints are all over these recent Delos videos. Amazing transitions and montages.
Curious, did you manually pull focus at 26:04, or was a happy accident caused by auto focus?
Wow, from 24:20 to 27:00 is some of the best editing I've ever seen. Brilliant.
Best b-roll and Editing yet
I have seen every Delos episode and you guys are firing on all cylinders right now. there is nothing more exciting on TV/internet. can't wait to see the next episode. Thank you.

That "Takin it Easy" montage after smashin swellls for 5 days was epic.

Already a great, standout video, then the artistry during "taking it easy" takes it to a whole new level.
You guys are definitely going pro with your videos! Based on the weather forecasts towards the end of this video, the next one is going to be wild! Stay safe and keep having fun! James

[Liz] One day a messy saltwater leak through the bow thruster, the next day perfect conditions: that's sailing. Spirits rise and fall like the waves.
followtheboat I love how close the RUclips sailing community is! Can't wait to get my own and join in the fun. I love FTB and Delos.

I can see there is some MAJOR editing talent in this crew! I love the video guys!

Safe sailing to you all

Really like the logbook notations.
Wish you guys taped every minute. Can't get enough! Wouldn't hurt being a TV series either.
Ive watched every ep. This was the best produced one so far. Congratulations on your growth as people, sailors, and filmmakers.
