I was getting ready to post essentially the same thing. I love seeing how hospitable all the people they meet are. Really makes you feel good about the world. If all you watch is the news, all you get is how bad everything is, things like this remind you how good people are. Love it!
This was such a big accomplishment for us! Crossing the Indian Ocean was an amazing, tough, fun, and tiring adventure! Rounding the Cape of Good Hope will always be a special moment in our lives! Thanks for joining us guys :) Make sure to like, comment and subscribe to spread the love around! Mr. Brady
You guys should have put a link to Pieter's marina business. You guys are great and are so fortunate to run into so many nice people willing to help you out. Did you ever get the auto-pilot working again? No more grinding gears?
glad i found your channel...spent hours catching up and living vicariously through you folks kudoes to Peiter and his staff for all the hard work and awesome hospitality ..good luck and safe passage my friends..
I have now watched all 103 episodes (in the past 10 days). Your skills have improved enormously. Your documentation is excellent, except for the abrupt departure of Erin and the slow decay of the Brady-Josjie connection. I sense an episodic sadness in Karin that I'm not quite able to fathom, but I hope for the best. The high point for me was the 3-episode segment on re-rigging Delos; it was amazing! I know my way around a beer, but have you thought of any limits? I don't know why I say that, other than having lived through a time years ago where balls-to-the-wall seemed sweet at the time, only to be less than wonderful later. I'm now 67, and I'd give my left arm to be doing what you are doing. In 30-40 years, it is my hope that you continue to enjoy the sea & sunsets & human bonds that you now celebrate. Finally, I hope that Brady finds his genuine smile and broadcasts it to the universe. You guys are all amazing, and I might add, that I'd follow capt Brian into hell itself < he's a leader that knows how it all works. Very impressive dispaly of life, Delos crew! I salute you! I'm inspired!
Life is so precious and in life people have adventures we dream of. To share your life with us and your adventures will give others a chance to do something they dreamed of but have not been able to do. I have been following you folks and your adventures for years. It is always a pleasure to get up in the morning, get a cup of coffee and sit down at the computer and find a new adventure to escape into. To live and be part of the crew on youtube is fun. The episodes are very well done, the crew of Delos are a group of people anyone would have overwhelming pride to be associated with. I am retired, old, and worked hard all of my life. A dream I have always had was to do what you are doing. I did get to go around the world on a US Navy ship (1962-66) as a young man and I will always remember the sea and that time in my life. When you share your adventures in your life it gives people like me the opportunity to live a dream we have not been able to do for a gamut of reasons. I, and I'm sure many, would like to thank you for sharing your life and adventures with us and letting us be part of your life and crew. I always pray for God to protect you all in your journey in life. You are doing something that is positive for the young people to see and to set as a goal of love and kindness worldwide. Keep up the good work in your worldwide ambassadorship of love and goodwill. Your oldest crew member, God bless.
Best sailing video on RUclips ! It is so awesome how you can add temporary crew and everyone seems to get along so well !! Why can't the rest of the world be like this ?
As a teenager I learned to sail on the island of Okinawa on the margin of the Pacific and East China Sea. The idea of sailing from one ocean or sea to the next has always fascinated me. Thanks so much for sharing your adventure. You had some nice karma to have such calm seas in the cape. Finally, my favorite 5 seconds of the clip was the 100 or so dolphins. I see them in pods of 4-5 here in San Diego, but never the number in your clip. Simply amazing.
So happy to see Karins mom is joining you again. You make friends in every port...not surprising as you are so welcoming and kind to everyone you meet. Not bad at sailing too..lol.
Starting to seem at this point in your journey you're becoming celebrities and taken well care of at every port you land. that has to feel amazing to receive the love you get at so many places across this planet.
20:55 mark that sunset and crescent moon in the upper right....Just breathtaking and brings back such memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great bunch of blokes in S.A. to help you all out so much

Looks like you all nailed the cape of storms! Not quite the dreaded journey after all! But you obviously spend a lot of time planning and scheduling each major journey. Thanks again for sharing and inspiring sailor all over the world. Wade.
When you all crossed from the Indian Ocean into the Atlantic Ocean I could see your lives bloom. I could watch you grow in that very moment into the very dream that is legendary. Pure Vida

Great episode. I am always impressed by Brian's ability to make repairs to Delos. You truly are the Macgyver of the seas. You were so lucky to bump into Pieter and I.B. I loved those guys. Bummer you didn't have a more boisterous sail around the Cape of Good Hope, but it's still a great accomplishment. Congratulations.
Yo Brady, can I just say it's been great to watch a book worm being born! Sweet. We usually lose them to TV, movies and life. And here, life takes away the TV and gives you books. Good on ya!

I've watched your videos from the first day and I think it's a great connection you two brothers have...you have a lot of respect for each other. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Your dreams are feeding my dreams. My beloved S/V Lyra, a Tanzer 28, is on the hard until the ice goes late April. Bay of Quinte, eastern Lake Ontario. Counting the days. Watching and learning from you young'uns on S/V Delos. Fair winds and safe fun to you all! Kudos to Marta for being brave enough to have fun on the high seas!

By the way if your plan is to sail the mediteranean please come to the Antibes Marina and I will invite you to expérience the distillation of aromatic plants on top of the mountain, unfortunatelly no rhum distillation! Best timing is in Julien, Alain
Originally I wrote, "I love the technical and boat stuff the most!", but your balance between stories, history, personalities, adventure, tourism, culture, etc doesn't suck at all!
OK you guys topped it on that Video....... Lets see, I learned the the warm /cold waters converge and mix things up cross Hope... also learned Mast/boom you need to heat aluminum a lot more to weld it correctly.. And those guys at Silver lake marine are like gods... What a great bunch of people.. Leaning over the rail while up-chucking is not pleasant.. sorry mom.. Kazz looks wonderful with that long wispy hair after being woken up for a Neptune toast ~~ Scal ~`

Over the past month or so, I've been watching several different crews make videos of blue water sailing and I think most would agree you guys do it better then anyone. Your show is a perfect combination of everything it takes to do what you're doing. From the partying, exploring and sailing to the not so fun stuff of maintaining Delos and shopping for previsions. The whole experience is very interesting and fun to watch. Cheers!

Dan Cady this was an inspiring comment Dan.
I agree about the beers too; I am just a little younger at 60 years and know about beer (and lots of other stuff BTW)
I'm hoping to see Erin again. She was one of the pioneer of Delos.
This is a nice comment.
I always love it when Martha is on board!
