Oh!! He did the Origine zombie trailer and the Bon Voyage intro music!! Both of these really have unique atmosphere about them, he did an amazing job, what an amazing talented guy! The songs he's worked on are all great songs too, I love Victon's Mayday. Hearing him talk about his creative process was so interesting, thank you for having this interview with him

Omg I was so curious about the Bon voyage opening I loved it SOOO much I'm sad that they didn't include it in the album 😭 and also Mayday's bridge and it's chords in general (and the contrast between the verses and chorus as umu mentioned) are soo dramatic and satisfyingly dark I love that song so much, very simple but pleasing to listen to

13:30 "Kpop really pushes your boundaries" ...that's what we music_ kpop enthusiasts have been trying to make critics and folks understand but they never do and go with the "kpop is plastic" thing without even trying to listen to it properly....I hope they understand that kpop is pretty INTERESTING and they can actually consider listening to it and judge it without automatically consuming that it's not good enough because it's kpop lol (someone show this to Anthony Fantano please lol 😂)

I love these Interviews! Umu, if you could get the chance to do one with Thomas Troelsen that would be awesome! I‘ve been a fan of his productions for a long time. He’s done songs like TVXQ‘s Mirotic, Taemin‘s Danger, Max‘s Chocolate and NCT Dreams Chewing Gum... and the list goes on. Plus he has a crazy voice on his own. He had a group called Private back in the day who did like retro style dance music. It’s really good, you should check it out :D
I absolutely enjoyed this interview - other than the interesting conversations between Alawn and Umu and learning about fun stuffs going behind the scenes, the editing was really on point and funny!

Love this interview! And hearing the 100 baseline itself (i'm in lovee), and about what goes into the production for these top-tier quality songs :D. Also really appreciate Umu asking Alawn's opinion about kpop vs. western music, I never really thought about the creative freedom they have to experiment around so much- and major props to all producers cause there's so much to work with, and yet, the song product is always flawless!! Ooh & can't wait to hear about the story behind Punch ;)
Alawn also worked on Cravity's "My Turn" ... I fell in love with its bridge first-listen (hugee sm vibes lol) and I've been listening to the song non-stop. Would love to hear about the inspiration behind that too in future :D. But seriously, thank you guys for the interview!!
