Let’s address THEE questions everyone is curious about 😂… No, neither of us are worried about the current recall issue that Toyota issued because it is only a number of 22-23s that were possibly effected. Both of our trucks are 24s and we aren’t concerned 👌🏼
Just bought a 2024 limited crew max TRD OR 4x4 Tundra that came with TRD 3 inch lift from the factory and I just LOVE this truck coming from a Tacoma it’s a big upgrade in every way , I loved my 21 Tacoma TRD OR but the tundra is on another level .
How about you guys start the conversation about 37’s not really being 37’s. And so on. Most all Offroad tires measure smaller than they actually say. That the main reason you’re getting away with not re gearing
My Firestone Destinations are MT2s and measure out to 36.8 inches so damn near a true 37. The reason for not regearing is because of the 8speed transmission. Same as the reason you don’t need to regear the new 4th gen tacoma when you put them on 35s 👍🏼
Any concerns from either of you regarding the metal shavings issue in the Tundra 3.5 TTs? Have you taken any preventative steps, or maybe increased your service intervals? Thanks! I enjoy your videos, and this compare/contrast was awesome.
thanks for the video Talon. I also feel like I'm copying you sometimes but i swear we just like the same stuff. I am curious to see what you do next winter to fit the kimbo in the back. I just went on my first trip with the kimbo on my 2024 tundra and built a little drawer system for under it so it could clear the cab. I need to make some adjustments for it side to side in the bed so it doesnt slide around laterally (it did) when off roading. Overall it was amazing not going over 2000 rpms with the kimbo fully loaded and 5 bikes on my bike rack going over mountain passes haha. ps still running the black rhino wheels and tires i bought from you, took them off my tacoma when i sold it and put them on the new tundra. New tires are in the future but they look great on the new tundra
I would love to be able to go Overlanding in my yard like Mike can. Great video, I also got a ‘23 Tacoma ACLB like you Talon because I don’t need the room for family.
@LastLineOfDefense I heard somewhere you can change out the drive switch unit to the unit with MTS and it should work. Allowing MTS but not crawl. I haven't try it yet but been trying to find more info.
Mike's Tundra comes with an Auto LSD that is activated by pressing the VSC off switch until the Auto LSD light turns on in the dash. It uses the trucks ABS system to apply brakes individually to wheels that have no traction.
If this is true, I had no idea - and will definitely give that a shot. Seems like the most ass-backwards way to activate it... Auto Limited Slip should be just that - Automatic.
@@LastLineOfDefense I agree, they run the same system on my 2018 Tacoma and I had to look up how to activate it after a lot of wheel spin, lol. Not as good as a locker but better than nothing.
Love the collab. I do watch you both, but one thing I'd suggest in future collabs is a quick intro to who Mike is. You kind of just jumped in assuming we know, and in some cases of course we watch both LLOD and you. But that isn't going to always be the case?
Oh Yeah that recall will include the 24’s it’s coming.. These trucks/campers look too clean have you done any camping yet? Brand partnerships, friends in the industry, great infomercials… 🤔👍💵🇺🇸 👍

Great vid gentlemen! Can't get enough of these S&T / LLOD collab videos. So fun! Keep killing it and stay safe!
Thanks Phil!

Me my long time homie have owned the same vehicles many times over the last 30 years. Bromance! Tha Best!
Nice, I semi-regret selling my 5.7 Tundra. lol
Jesus gus...Love what you do❤...but you yutubers have lost what we normal guy thats on a 9-5 paycheck have to do ....
BIG thumbs up!! Two of my favorites talking shop.
I think Talon's truck is nicer.
Did y’all have to do the body mount chop to fit the 37s on there? Because I wanna do 37s as well on my 24 Tundra. Thanks in advance!
Nope it’s pretty straight forward

Which dobinson rear spring did you use 1inch lift or 2in? Also did you need to add a track bar?
2” with a track bar correction.
Maan, wassup with the podcast?:(
We have another one recorded already but we are both too busy to be consistent with it right now.
I’m looking at the ARB Onboard Compressor with the SDHQ mount behind the seat. Run the line to a port in the bedside.
That works on the crew max. Haven’t seen one for double cabs yet.
Great video 🔥guys two of my favorite ch and people. 👍💙
Great video! I want a bro with a Tundra too😂

Not concerned because 24s are not effected by the recall.
@@TalonSei not yet.....🤦♂️
High noons!! Haha that’s the drink of choice when I’m out there ahah. Next time I see you guys I’ll make sure to bring a pack of noons 👍 cheers boys
I just realized I found Talon Sei on You Tube by watching LLOD! As a 2015 Tundra owner, with a Kimbo, I LOVED rhe truck chat. Cheers dudes.

Nice Trucks 💪😎
I'd take grey truck with white truck's bumper and wheel/tire setup 🤘

I followed that thread and it looks like it lights up and shows the dash animation, but does not actually give the functionality.
I dont have friends ... 😢
We are discord friends 🙂
Right? I feel so attacked.
Durabump does make bumps for the front.

Great builds but turn in your tricks for that recall. Don’t want all that money and marketing of the builds to go to waste if the engine doesn’t work!
2024 tundras are not effected. Check out the pinned comment on this video 👆🏼

This is far from their first video together.
@@amorton94 Doesn't matter, if a first time viewer comes to this video they'll have no context at all.

You must be new here… welcome aboard 👍🏼
OEM PLUSH is the new term you need to adopt.. none of this ++ silliness
Are yall worried about the AR ban trying to get past in Colorado?
Now let’s see which one has its engine blow up first?
Recall is only 22-23s
For now. I hope 🤞🏻
I wish the 5.7 was still an engine option on the tundra
