Was thinking the same thing about my mom, she’s been gone 19 years ago and she was an artist, this video made me want to do more art inspired by my mom.
We had so much fun watching this! Great results inducing crazing by layering paint over PVA glue. Crazing is a stable, split pattern that looks neat when you want it, but not so great when it happens by accident! BTW, that's something that can happen if you put acrylic gesso over a glue-sized canvas. This video is a great example of how the finished product is only a part of the wonderful benefit we derive from making art!

You two are so funny and clearly enjoy each other's company. It's good to see you guys having a good time. Was interesting to learn about how to make the crackling effect. When she got the paint can out all I could think was she got the big guns out lol. I like how both of your projects turned out.
I love you painting with your mom ❤️ My mom doesn’t do anything artsy or craftsy, but I did manage to get her to a couple of those wine and paint nights. It’s so much fun 😊
I absolutely loved this video. How you taught your mom how to show us her brush melted my heart, and then I died laughing when you told her to take preventative action and she just looked at you with the "what did you just say to me?" look! Such a mom thing of you to say Mira. Love you and your mom!
Yay painting on stuff!!
Yes more painting with mom and more painting on random things!! I painted a cardboard candy container black and then decorated it with chalk and paint and sealed it in made it into a pencil holder.. it just so much fun to repurpose things when they could become waste.
When your mom started mixing the paint in the tin I thought she had got bored of waiting for her tray to dry and moved on to some decorating for you - my Mam is terrible for stuff like that, we'll invite her over for the day and at some point she'll get distracted and start mowing the lawn or something like that, that we haven't been able to get around to. 😂😂

The first ever video I watched on your channel was a greenhouse you painted (years ago) and you told that it was your mom's. Since then I've been obsessed, love the plants you paint! So glad to hear she got a new one

Oh how I wish my mom was still around to join me in painting. She died very young (51) and I was only 24. God Bless your mom and you to have the best of time.

you two are so cute together! I recently saw my Mother who is 96 and we put together stickers and cards! It was so amazing because my Mom always said she wasn't good at art so finally it's taken all these years to find something she really likes. I'm so grateful.

When your mom just dumped all the colors out and you were shocked just made me chuckle 😅
I did cringe at you mixing paint with a brand new brush. Don't ever use a brush to mix, it ruins the bristles. Use either a craft stick, palette knife, or even the other end of the brush.

I love your relationship with your mom... I wish I could that with my mom too. Unfortunately our relationship wasn't that good from the start... I was an unwanted child... 😢 I got over it... but never had a close relationship... so sometimes I am jealous when I see moms and daughters together... I am close with my kids... all 4 of them and I have the relationship I wanted with my mom now with my daughters... ❤ Keep on doing stuff together with your mom... yes also on RUclips. Live the interaction between you 2... and you made beautiful stuff... 😍 thank you... ❤
