Stopped at 15:00. It's the Wynn, the Donk on the flop is so often 2 pair +, so we are looking at 66, 77, and 76, or a combo draw, like the Ad5d, and maybe 55 or 8x8d. But I'd discount the last hand. The turn check weights the hand to 77, 66 and 76. I don't think a Wynn player is checking the nut flush here on a 3 bet pot with two people who can call. The player behind you is just sticky and bad and not that much of a worry, unless the holding is Ad5d or 5d5x Your river shove is turning your hand into a bluff, in the sense it's unlikely you will get called by something you beat. An over pair is unlikely to call. If you think foe can fold 77, 66 and 76 here, this play may be profitable, but it's the Wynn, people don't usually fold a set on the river, they cry and call. The problem is what hand are you representing that beats a Set? AdXd, and especially the Ad5d, so too many hands require a player to have a specific hand. Your bluff will need to get two players to fold, and it's not likely going to work. The player behind may have a 5d5x and the straight, so you'll need a straight to fold fearing a flush and a set to fold fearing a straight or flush. I don't see it working often enough. You were hoping for two players to fold correct? Otherwise, what hands that you beat did you expect to call?
I have to say I thought UTG flopped set in my mind when the flop came. I "donk lead" all the time if I'm first to act after flopping a set. It looks so bluffy and builds pot. And like you said people usually put me on a draw or some kind of blocker bet. Crazy how he turns his Kings into a bluff on accident. Great Analysis!!

I love it when they say "they're unlikely to fold at these stakes". As if the mark of a good 10/20 player is folding to your nonsensical spew in this spot.
Bart, what if hero has KK or AA with a diamond? I assume then it would be a reasonable hand to turn into a bluff? What other bluffs do we really have on the turn and river? Don't think we are floating any offsuit overcards with a diamond on this unfavourable flop facing this action 3 way not closing the action? Tbf villian folding set here is probably a good play in general against most players. If we are not bluffing with AA/KK with a diamond then we literally have 0 bluff and basically only have good if not nut flushes here. As villian I may even exploitatively fold small flushes. If hero has a diamond in his hand I think this play suddenly become a 10/10 play instead of a "blunder".
I don't think someone ever has 99 here, pocket 99 will never call the turn even with a 9of diamond your hand is almost drawing dead against 2 players with a possible straight and flush on the board. Every reasonable player will think what is he drawing to with 99 here on the turn.
The caller played the hand awfully, but still won the pot with his "jam and pray" tactics 🤣 He sent this hand in knowing it was bad an learnt from his mistakes, so all in all he's a massive winner in my book 🤣🤣
Live poker will never be dead because of dudes like the caller 😂 Most people do not think and just click buttons. Pure check on turn and even a bigger pure check on river
OBV kinda joking since caller seems to be decently studied and was open to criticism which gives him a huge adv over the common lower stakes players. But this call proves my point. Do not over complicate play at lower stakes. We do not need to be balanced like the nosebleed crushers. Explotive and tight/aggressive play prints. Don’t just click buttons. Also let’s not try and get players to fold sets, straights and or flushes. He just got lucky in this spot. Most the time given this action someone’s gonna have a medium/low flush and or A-5 suited which is a straight. DONT CLICK BUTTONS HAVE A REASON FOR EVERY ACTION. HAVE A PLAN FOR FUTURE ACTION AND STREETS.
Also, let’s never be betting when we have solid showdown. Why are we turning an overpair to the board into a bluff? wtf did button have like 88? Most of the time in this spot 1 has at least straight and more commonly lower flush.
@@SnoopDougg I was thinking the button may have pocket tens through queens with one diamond makes sense to me. Just floated until the river and gave up when the flush missed. Could also be 98s (not diamonds) sticking around with the open ender, but that seems somewhat unlikely.
Now we need the guy who had 77 to call in to give his version of the hand. And he can describe how a donkey overplayed his hand and he folded a set, and if that was a good play in that spot
It's really hard to determine when a players over/under values their hands. In this scenario, hero over valued his hand and player with a set under valued his. Hero lucks out this time. 👏
This is what makes poker so intriguing right? Being able to figure out how a person plays in order to extract maximum value while hopefully winning a bunch of money in the process is fun!

I think the caller's attitude is abrasive. He talks about the level of play at these low stakes, but here we are. I'm guilty too. But that's what I try to work on and understand. Since the caller admits he's going off the rails, I wonder if he thought "I've got KK, I deserve this pot." I'll listen again, but does the caller ever answer why he thinks he played the turn and river this way?
I dont think it should be that surprising that the initial raiser from EP flops a set on this board, not just top set either but any set. After the caller 3 bets to $60 and gets a cold call from the button, its going to only be $45 to call to win $140. Thats already a decent price. Strictly based on implied odds given how deep they are its a call, but then add to the fact that its a 3 bet, and we’d much rather set mine against a strong range than a somewhat random or weak range. Investing that $45 could win the first raiser a giant pot since 3 bet ranges are so tight and most players are going to be piling the money in as a 3 bettor. If I flop top set after raise/calling pre, I dont think I’m going to be folding almost ever though. The Diamonds are scary, the caller could have had hands like AK/AQ of Diamonds as 3 bets for value and he could also sometimes have hands like 10,9 of Diamonds as a 3 bet bluff. With that said however, as Doug Polk has taught me… dont fold sets. And hes right, sometimes you’ll loose, but a lot of the time they’ll have KK…
It means you're calling a 3 bet without previously putting a penny in the pot while ppl are betting and raising in front of you. It's a sign of strength.
