Richard has been at the forefront of digital media and marketing since 2005, with over five billion affiliated views and millions of subscribers and followers to his brands. During that time Richard and his fellow co-founders at www.blackriflecoffee.com saw growth in the e-commerce coffee company to the point where it required their full time attention. He resigned from Complex Networks to focus on the coffee company in the fall of 2017. The coffee company’s social channels provide entertainment, inspiration and education. Everything from how to make cold brew, how to make coffee via a chemex, diy drink recipes, diy food recipes and more. There is a focus on humor, comedy and sketch comedy based content around the brand to compliment and contrast with the serious themes and types of content from their charity work to telling the stories of the coffee company’s employees to those who have or currently still do serve their country and community.
Richard still enjoys creating content in the outdoor and adventure world. He is an avid wingsuit pilot and skydiver. He enjoys getting up into the mountains hiking, snow skiing, riding snow machines, fishing or anything to get him out from in front of a computer in the office. It's the little things in life... Like mounting a M61 Vulcan 20mm to a Toyota Prius hybrid electric vehicle!

Not much, Ammunition is pretty cheap
But you know the fire rate of the minigun, right? Not to mention the other costs - such as the ammunition belt, helicopter rental, and helicopter fuel.

+Untitled Meme According to a bulk ammo site you can get 1000 rounds of 7.62(.308) for about 600 dollars, so at an average of 3500 rounds per minute the cost of ammo for 1 minute of fire is about $2,100 - but this gun requires M13 links in order to feed it and those are about $30 per 1000 links...
So a little napkin math shows that this gun fires 2,205 dollars per minute. That's probably only slightly cheaper than throwing fist fulls of 20$ bills out of the helicopter door, but the bullets are far more lethal.
Holy shit I have never seen a minigun shot with a high speed camera. Seeing the individual rounds come out of it is amazing!

Thomas Pead Well the UH-1H is retired, so the military guys most likely used it for training purposes and he probably got in on one of the sessions. Nevertheless, this video is awesome.
You can buy helicopters, and especially UH-1's, because they're retired and plenty were built. Just search "UH-1 for sale" on google.

Police5861 With all due respect to your comment. Lone Survivor was to take the book and represent it in a movie form as closely as possible. Saving Private Ryan was a true story but the whole fight part in the town was fake.

I was looking for movies on time warner on demand and saw lone survivor and though hmm looks pretty good and watched it. It was awesome.
In the Vietnam war I remember one night seeing and hearing a minigun equipped Cobra gunship making gun runs outside our base camp. Will never forget that scene, first firing rockets, the return fire of green tracers coming up at it, then the waving red line coming down from that minigun along with that amazing Errr!!! or Ahhh!!! sound.
