    Excellent, informative video! I'm just learning about plantain and have found it growing in my yard. I had no idea the seeds are edible. Definitely a keeper!

      This one is actually quite small. I have seen plantain much larger than my hand spread out

    we have a different type of plantain here in the east is it good too?

      yes plantain grows here in the east and as far as i know it's all edible. even the leaves of it you see growing up thru the cracks in the sidewalks. but for goodness sake make sure you wash it!!! :D

      ***** It doesn't have seeds like you show in the video. I think it is the same, the leaves look the same.

      I live in Michigan. The young leaves just sprouting are the most edible part of plant here. All is edible but has bitter taste if not cooked out similar to dandelion techniques. But the baby leaves can be directly eaten.
