    Thank you Albert! The mayo was a bit strange at the viewing, but amazing at the eating. Also works with tilapia, but a bit of flaking. The taste completely compensates.

    Made this for tonight’s dinner. It is so good, and we have leftovers for tomorrow. I added to the mayonnaise and garlic, just to loosen it up a bit. Thank you !

    What a great dish!
    I have to be that person though, aioli is technically a garlic/olive oil emulsification. This is rather a garlic flavoured mayo.

    I'm assuming this can be done with shrimp also. But what about mussels? Seems like a great recipe for that.

    Gracias Albert for another great video ! I guess Pasta is for me really like from Italy, and seeing Aioli Mayo on the Pasta seems very strange. But I should give it a go, maybe it tastes amazing. Its all about trying out new things and getting inspiration.

      Technically ‘pasta’ is from China via Marco Polo…..

      @kennielsen3896 Месяц назад

      Yes, I figured it was a yogurt creamy concoction. Glad it wasn't as the Aioli (if used sparingly) seems like a great addition. I have a lot of frozen Sockeye Salmon so I'm going to try it with that. (Cod doesn't have much flavor, only what's absorbed by the sauce)

    How well might it go if using lutefisk (with it being done right with tender & flaky results without being smelly, ofc) similarly to the bacalao with all the other ingredients kept as is?

    • @SpainonaFork
      @SpainonaFork  Месяц назад +1

      Yes it should work fine as is! Much love :)

    Hi! I am confused. I always thought bacalao was specifically cod preserved with salt. Was I misled, and can you enlighten me, Albert?

    • @annetowner5447
      @annetowner5447 Месяц назад +1

      Bacalao can be made that way, but it is just the general name of Cod fish in Spanish.

    • @SpainonaFork

      Bacalao is Cod, bacalao salado is salted cod :) Much love

      So make an aioli, i.e. a garlic sauce like mayonnaise. It’s delicious.

    i want to write an honest comment and have to sadly say that i used to watch your videos alot more.
    while the channel was never vegan, i found many vegan recipes here. but over time you use alot more animal products and the dishes are not really for me anymore.

      For a general audience vegan dishes are ok once in a blue moon, but not as a regular thing. Besides which, how difficult would it be to make this dish vegan? Not very difficult, I think.

    • @Kameshwari108

      Maybe one who is vegan can appreciate this recipe for the simplicity and ease of one-pan cooking. What are the chances that someone who doesn't even have eggs can make this and accept that it is fulfilling and simple without an animal protein?

      This is why there are so many channels on You Tube. A quick search for Vegan recipes gives you hundreds of sites. I suggest you continue to keep track of Albert's posts for the vegan and vegetarian recipes he does have, and for the tutorial value of his meal prep and cooking techniques. Good luck.
