i personally level as sub, cause its so many hordes here that i wanna be able to kill them. Also it one shots mobs 1 by one compared to 3 minute cds to pump aoe. Combat feels too slow for me :p have you tried assasination?
@@itsego_tv yeah im on thekal and its sooo many hordes, levling as combat would leave me pretty defensless, especially cause they always go 2v1 or more

It can actually be viable!! It does do a lot of damage and you can go toe to toe with melee a lot easier than if you were a sub rogue! This is because you can use Adrenaline Rush to spam down a target mostly.
@@AntonioMottaAtor Yes you technically can, you can swap the 5 points in "Hack and Slash" for 5 points in "Close Quarters Combat", this will give you increased Crit with daggers. This could be potentially more desirable on PVP servers because by having at least one dagger in your Main Hand you'll be able to use Ambush.

I wouldn't level my rogue in wotlk as my first character, it gets very very tough at lvl 80 without gear and you have to bandage after every other mob kill.
Seems like an ability that would be used on dungeon and raid bosses. Even for soloing elites during questing. If you're going to dungeon level I can see using it but doubt you going to be able to do that as a rogue. My strategy is open world mob farming and bg grinding
Honestly, lot of misinfo in this guide that naieve rogues wouldn't notice, wouldn't recommend these talents at all, without risposte is just not great, and that's just the first thing. Also this isn't how you play combat, you spend on slice and dice all the time unless it's up already, open with shiv with deadly on offhand, just a lot wrong, take rupture off your bars while leveling, waste of energy and cp
I appreciate your feedback!! These are great notes, I think I did mention that Rupture is really only going to used on longer fights like bosses in dungeons. So I completely agree with you there! And yeah keeping Slice up is absolutely crucial, I dump extra points into Eviscerate!! Great notes :)
While that can be true for some, gear matters a lot. I play Assa with the usual combo of x2 Mutilates into Envenom and the mob is dead, no need to SnD or risposte while losing little hp to almost none. It's great for questing when u mob from one to another and u start full energy ready to burst.

@@itsego_tv imo you don't need improved garrote/rupture during leveling (questing). you never get to profit on those, and i don't think there's a place for those in rotation since mobs are dead fast. it's all about having snd always, eviscerate the rest. otherwise good build
i mean just look at your skill bars ,,, boring ,,, i have every slot filled x 3 i plus, shadowstep, shadow dance , prep and premed , just cant beat it , so much more to a rogue then combat 3 button zombie

Riposte all the way. It inevitably means you take less damage, which means less downtime, which plays a huge part in level speed IMO.

Yes!! I’m so excited to have that AOE capability now, it’s also great for spamming out Rogues in PVP if you can’t go stealth :)

Sub hemo rogue is insane for leveling, one ambush litteraly does like 80% of a mob's hp. The only bad thing is that you cant just go into group mobs
