I have adopted a Mexican accent my wife is Mexican and my guys that work for me only speak Spanish so I’m learning hands on. Either I speak and mess up or I don’t speak at all 😅 it’s helped me allot! As well as your advice man thanks! Because my wife speaks fluently in English so we don’t talk Spanish to each other I’m trying to push her to speak more Spanish to me lol 😅

Dear Sir, Are you Dominican? I have been looking for a song for decades and I can't find it. Can you help me? It's called Carolina me manda. It's an old song and it means a lot to me because my Father-in-Law used to sing it all the time. I think it's a Dominican song. He died this year and he can't sing it to me anymore.
So I watch a lot of telenovelas and I have for years (mostly on Netflix) and most of them are Mexican shows but all of my friends in college were Puerto Rican so im used to/fell in love with that dialect but unfortunately many Puerto Rican actors play Mexicans or Venezuelans on TV since the PR/Dr dialect isn’t considered “proper spanish” in Latin America so outside of looking up cortometrajes would I not use these steps if the dialect im watching isn’t the one I’m trying to learn? It’s something that’s slowed down my process a lot because I end up using phrases from PR DR Mexico and Columbia and I don’t want become fluent and be speaking multiple dialects at the same time porque suena estúpido 😂
I was wondering where you were the other day It would be interesting if you did a prank where you spoke to native speakers on Italki using your Gringo accent, and then slowly start transforming into your Dominican fluent Spanish 😭

When your playing the guy on the bed whilst speaking english you have a spanish accent "yo no" but then speaking spanish on the bed with the most gringo accent. 😂 basically when you speak english you sound spanish.. when you speak spanish you sound american. I feel like you try everything you can do hide the fact your American when the camera is off lol

Sometimes when I speak Spanish I put a heavy southern accent on it because it makes me JAJAJA inside. 😂
