I studied Spanish on and off for years and this is the first time someone explained it so clearly 👏🏻
That is so true. He teaching is very clear and helpful.
Ima have to watch this a few times😅
U ain't the only one
don’t be one of those people
@@james3440 xanthus is that you?
Yo tambien.
Right 😂
I love this so much. I've been speaking Spanish for about seven years now and this is the most helpful explanation for this that I found anywhere on the internet. Thank you. 🐼
Me too actually. Very well explained
@TONY HIT 'EM PRODUCTIONZ Yo también*
@Caleb I know them and I know how to use them. But his explanation is the most easily articulated one I've found.
@Caleb I've been a fan of the channel since it started because it's amazing how much someone can teach themselves. Even Ricky is still learning. There's ALWAYS more to learn. Why are you so worried about my journey? Focus on yours ✌
@Caleb I simply enjoy Ricky's content, and as I said before, there's always something new to learn. Nothing wrong with that.
Liked the video before even watching. Time to grab notepad.

Por fin lo subí!! Enjoy!

Can you create a app teaching Dominican Spanish or Skype?
I was watching a soap and a guy was telling someone to get out. First he said '¡Lárgate!' Then he reiterated it but the second time he said "Te me largas" im so confused. How does this translate? Is it "Get away from me"? Please help!
Ess Jay
Isn’t te me largas : you leave me
With me being the direct object and te being indirect object
@@essjay3051 This is a native format that is used when you mean business. When you are really scolding someone or telling them to do something again. It means the same thing as lárgate, but is more emphasized. Both mean get away from me / leave me.
@@JackDicaprio technically yes but in this context, it's a command. Refer to the response that I left before this one.
You're the first person that has clearly and concisely described the differences between the direct and indirect pronouns. Most helpful is that you used them both in a sentence to highlight your explanation. Thank you!
Some months ago, I would have had no idea what this sentence means. I understand exactly what it means now, though it takes me a little over 1 second to understand each word. My Spanish is improving
THANK YOU FOR THISSS!!!!! I’ve been having such a hard time breaking past beginner level conversational Spanish because of this concept. I’ve asked so many Spanish speakers about how/when to use le/la/lo and none could really explain. This video breaks it down so well and I loved that you gave practice sentences to let us figure it out before you gave the answer. I’m so excited to take what I’ve learned from this video and advance my Spanish speaking skills!!!
Please keep making videos like this!!
exactly the same for me and this was a game changer.
I'm taking a Spanish class at my community college and I've been confused on direct/indirect object pronouns leading up to our final... this helped so much! What a difference to hear someone explain it WITHOUT A MASK ON. Thank you so much, you're a very talented (and handsome) teacher! 🙏
I don't normally comment but this saved me. Every video kept explaining this as though I already knew half of it. This video has really helped me as someone who's starting from scratch. Also, the materials you have used to make this video are great. Loved the activity at 5:20. Made me so confident and kept me engaged. This is great bro!
Muchísimas gracias!!! ✍️This was right on time, this has cleared the whole idea of the Spanish object pronouns for me😁😁😁. U are an amazing teacher!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👐
This is so great! Exactly what I am learning in Spanish 1 class, and I finally understand. Muchas gracias!!
So helpful. I fell off at the end though. I need to review more.
C. F. I had to watch it more than once , it really sunk in the second time and it triggered me to ask a question that I didn’t know I had. Definitely watch more than once and try forming your own sentences. You got this!
Great videos bro, even though I already know these things I still enjoy watching your work. Vas a ayudar a muchos de tus seguidores! Keep it up. Reminds me of my beginner days of learning English. I’m still learning, but I can have a full on conversation with anyone now without being scared of messing up. It’s a great feeling. Saludos de parte de un Dominicano!! 🙏🏼🙌
I just wanna say that you're a blessing fr! Before I went back to this video last night, I was struggling with my Spanish homework and I had an exam mainly on IOP + DOP today. After watching this video, I was able to understand the difference and I passed my exam 😭🙏🏽 You broke everything down so well ! hank you a ton.
Up until I watched this I couldn't even tell what it was I struggled with. Magic man. Thanks for this.
I am so glad I found your channel! I have had this explained to me by several Spanish tutors and this is the best explanation by far!
I love how you CAREFULLY explained everything. Very clear and precise. I already halfway understood IDO and DO, but this video nailed it down for me. Great video!
this is such a helpful video. people who are fluent in english AND spanish really hit different when it comes to explaining things. muchisimas gracias!!
¡Muchas gracias Rickie!
I started to learn Spanish three months ago. This is a great lesson for me and most of the doubts are cleared now. Thanks a lot.
I'm learning Spanish atm and just found your channel! You got yourself a new sub
ESTE VIDEO HA SIDO LA PMEJOR EXPLICACIÓN QUE HE VISTO DE PRONOMBRES DIRECTOS E INDIRECTOS SIN TANTA VAINA GRAMATICAL. NO SABÍA COMO EXPLICAR ESTO DE LA FORMA MÁS SIMPLE A MIS ALUMNOS DE ESPAÑOL. ME HE BASADO EN TU EXPLICACIÓN Y ME HAS INSPIRADO. NO TE PREOCUPES QUE TE DARÉ EL CRÉDITO ASÍ COMO RECOMENDAR TU CANAL. MUCHAS GRACIAS
Seriously, this is just great. The perfect balance between video production and simplicity and you explain VERY well and are easy to listen to. Thank you 🙏!!!
Exacto. A veces la gente no entiende eso.
Una cosa, mis estudiantes me preguntan si te puedo mencionar a hablar más despacio. Lol. Piesan que te conozco.
Perfect timing! So glad there is a video on this!
Learning Spanish for a year now. I was so confused about the placement of the direct objects, before or after. Thank you SO much for this perfect explanation.
dang!! you answer questions ive been asking native speakers for awhile I appericate it
Oh man! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And did I already mention: THANK YOU! No one before was able to explain this to me. And with this video its suddenly so easy.
This video is going to help my students a lot. There is just one little problem, that they probably won't notice but maybe it will help you to know. On the chart on what the direct object pronoun replaces, it doesn't replace a mí, a ti, etc. The a is not a personal a here, it's a prepositional phrase that equals the indirect object pronoun. The direct object takes the place of a noun. I probably wouldn't have known all this just from speaking but I had a student who teased it all out!
¡Este es el mejor video! ¡Muchísimas gracias!
thanks!!! I love that you colour code the writing, I am a visual leaner and most people dont do this! It really helps!
I cannot believe I've been learning spanish and actively seeking out information for so long and you've clarified so much for me in one video...mind blown! 🤯 Thank you, this is great 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I was following until he threw the “se” in there, I was like 😨. I need to practice a bunch more I see.
I agree. Nothing about "se" then BOOM this changes to that sometimes and now we're moving on.
MochaMoon - You got it. Practice. Practice. Practice. You ask a native speaker how to use the DOPs and IOPs, and the answer will likely have you more confused than before you asked. They can't explain this (or maybe they are just bad teachers). They've just had lots of practice. :)
@@jdstep97 thank you soo much I will surely keep at it !!! lol
@@DelicatelyMocha How are you doing currently?
@@DelicatelyMocha Figured it out yet?
This helped me so much, thanks!! Definitely saving this video and will frequently be coming back to it as I practice 👍
Perfectly paced. No fluff. Well organized. The duration is great for a steady-state workout on the elliptical. New subscription!
That was very comprehensive. Great job!
Thank you for the very clear explanation. I am fairly new to learning Spanish, and this cleared up a point of confusion when I am reading in Spanish. I subscribed and will watch more of your lessons.
Oh my days thank you so much for this video! I’ve struggled with the difference between IOP/DOP for 2 years and this video finally made things click! Will still take loads of revision and examples but I finally feel like I have a grasp on it!!
amazing video highly recommend thank you so much i cant stress how helpful this is. posting at 2 am for my spanish test tomorrow
My G, I've watched 5 videos before yours and still didn't get shit. You hella good at this my dude easy and quick no bs💯
The first time I watched this video, at about one third from the beginning, I was so confused and was thinking how could this guy claim he would leave us zero questions... Totally frustrated.
But after I kept on watching the whole video, it became totally making sense. It helps alot understand the Spanish lyrics.
Thank you. It doesn't leave me zero question, but it helps tremendously for me to learn Spanish lyrics.
This 22 minute video turned into a 2 hour lesson because I was writing everything down and really making sure I got it😹😹
Gracias manin! Gracias
Hola, Rickie! This year during school, my Spanish teacher made us watch this video for our homework on taking notes about direct and indirect object pronouns. When I first started watching the video, the intro already got me laughing! 😂
¡Bien hecho amigo! Me encantan tus videos porque refrescan mi español. O sea...se los refrescan 😉
New subscriber here. I have just started learning Espanol. This is the best explanation of this that I have ever seen. To a person new to Espanol I think this is one of the most difficult aspects of the language. English is my first language but because of my grandparents my second language is Russian. This is not much help with a Romance language. Cannot believe you do not have more subscribers. I love the Hispanic culture and language.
THHHHANKYOU coming like god answering my prayers, more like this plzzz
This brother is able to speak Spanish so well because he understands GRAMMAR of both English and Spanish. He is able to explain the lesson so well because he understands it.
I love this guy. He explained it perfectly. I understand it for the first time. New subscriber aqui
Bro ya channel truly a blessing! I moved to the DR October 2020 and this been helping me tighten my Spanish up (although I play your videos in 0.75 speed) ...but woooh, let's just say my wife is impressed (she's Dominincan)
I've watched many Spanish teachers here on RUclips.
You Sir, are the best!
Liked! This is the best DOP/IOP Spanish lesson I've encountered. Well explained and good examples of each.
¡Qué bueno este video! Mil bendiciones 💖
This is a LIFE SAVER!!
this is the first time I;ve actually been able to understand using both in the same sentence. It was like a mental block for me for a while.
Yes I agree with others, your explanation is very clear, you have unravelled a few sticky points for me. Mucho gracias mi amigo.
you’re totally the best!! thank u for answering all the questions on my mind💖
I have a degree in Spanish but I still need to go back and relearn tricky grammar like this. Thanks for the video.

This video was genuis. And did a great job at pointing out why we use the shortened form of objects (ex. Not repeated the object over and over)
