Good video bro. I recently purchased the Capri Tools swivel impact socket set but my set came with the new "Mag Rails" that Capri Tools is offering with some of their new socket sets.
its been doing nicely for sure so far, granted the 18 and 13 starting to take bit more of beating with the girth issue, but hey, like i said about price point as well, compared to ole snappy, wow, hella set cost wise indeed! thanks for watching bud, hope yall faired alright with the cold snap down yonder
Good set. I have the same set but rebranded by matco in the silver eagle line. Had them now for about 9 years. Good set. Haven't had any problems from them.
aawesome input Robert and do appreciate it! so far for me been holding up well aside from sides getting dinged up a bit (lil wider of course) but as compared to what you get on domestic line up i think its a bang for buck item indeed! again thank you for watching and the input from how your set has done!
ooh, actually if they did them in a half/semi deep set would probably be tops now that you bring up that! and true, if there is an issue with them down the road i will do my damndest to find it lol. Thank you for watching dave
thank you antonio, yeah roads were bit shitty but luckily i dont live all too far from work, but this set definitely holding up nicely so far. thank you as always for watching!
sunex does make some decent items, i have their extra long 3/4 impact socket for caging air brakes and its been doing well (and was hella lot cheaper than the snap on one lol) thank you for watching!
ive seen similar to their adapters as well at home depot, but home depot was 5 buck an adapter, as for 4 pc set i bought from amazon though was like 8 bucks lolol. i think we might be amidst a trade industry battle soon lolol. thank you for watching Ron and hope you are doing well!
Great video thanks brother. Like the Capri tools. I don't have any swivel sockets yet. I have the old Mac 1/2 & 3/8 drive swivels and they are pretty bulky. I have used them for years though and they are still going strong. I will be getting some swivel sockets in the future and magnetic spark plug sockets. We all know you will put them through the test of time and I'm glad you do. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother
I used to have set of mac 3/8 dr semi deep 12pt swivel impacts that used for while before sold them to another guy whos kid was getting started in the field (most of my mac stuff went that way since welll. mac still doesnt want to stop in). but they worked decent for tightening up ujoints (12pt and all), but got to point didnt use them as much anymore unlike the 1/2 stuff for my end. But true some of those older usa made lines were awesome for sure, and if they still working tough for ya, hell, rock em hard buddy!!!!
I have that Snap-on set and dont understand why they stopped at 18mm. As soon as we get another Snap-On dealer I'm getting the 19mm.... Good video brother !!
agree with ya entirely there. its one of those wtf moments you have for sure. been hella set and no hassle (minus the bs'ing side of things on tool truck) for warranty, but it what is. thank you for watching and input!!!
Thank you rick, as for auto focus, well, still part of the cell phone user's club, down road though some day will be looking into a better camera setup, but it is one of the things i deal with (that and usually gives alot of my usual wathers a good laugh, kind of like the air compressor lol) hope you have a good weekend!
I emailed them and they replied that its a different heat treatment and that the advance is stronger here is their exact reply. Thank you for reaching out to us. The difference between the 60 piece set and the advanced 60 piece is that the advanced set has be through a different heat treatment system than the other non- advanced set. All the Advanced series products are designed for heavy duty work on a day to day basis. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hey N, well, i did have to look into the differences between older sets of bits that i have, as compared to my 88pc set and what i was also able to find as well, as stated by CT (i couldve sworn i replied to this earlier but apparently didnt go through). but supposedly yes is bit of treatment difference, and the bits themselves are conformed more to be true to size on the bits vs a reduced bit (as found on some higher end sets like i have gotten through snap on and an older mac set i used to have) performance wise, i havent been able to see too many differences on the 3/8dr and 1/2dr bits that come in the kits, and the standard lineup should suit anyone well as i have beaten the hell out of both sets for about 4 or 5 years now and both holding up well for what i put them through.
How have they been holding up? I just got their sets in SAE & Metric about 3 months ago and I cording be happier but I haven’t had them that long. Would love to hear how they’ve been holding up for you.
One of the things i need to do an update vid on, but since thet have been holding up well functiin wise. Couple of them have been a bit scuffed up from wear but other than that they have been good.
Theyve been working out well here past few weeks for sure. They are a little bit wider than the snap on ones (but look at price difference) but do believe they are as wideas/similar to the ones matco/gearwrench make.
lol, well shirt wise, still have few left over from uncle sam lolol. as for the cold, luckily survived ;) thanks for watching and hope yall enjoyin the nice warmer front we had come back in makin hella mess of things lol
Bearded Seabees 82 what brand of extra long Allen socket sets do you recommend that dont cost a arm and leg ?? They would be for forklifts, pallet jacks
capri would be one for sure having used theirs for while now, especially when using same way i am, as similar way i wouldve used them when was working on Combi-lift sideloaders at steel plant. outside of making some of my own out of sockets, jb weld, and cutting down allens sized to fit (alternative option). either way would work well am sure
Good video bro. I recently purchased the Capri Tools swivel impact socket set but my set came with the new "Mag Rails" that Capri Tools is offering with some of their new socket sets.
they look exactly like my Gearwrench set!
I have steered clear of a good chunk of gw stuff for little while lately after some bad customer service.
@@BeardedSeabee82 i looked at both and they are identical. most likely made by the same factory.
I got the same set and it’s been doing excellent so far. Can’t beat the quality for the cost.

I just bought some Capri triple square set today. I never heard of Capri till your channel. Thank you buddy
Good deal mark! yeah their regular seGts of bits (hex, torx, etc) are some great absolutly bang for buck sets indeed.

I bought the SnapOn 14mm swivel 3/8 because I own 3 Nissans
Their pinless swivels are good will definitely say, having bit deeper broaching and slimmer profile makes them handy in number of areas for sure!
Be nice to eventually see them make a deep set too. Those look they're built really well. If they have a weak spot you'll find it lol
ooh, actually if they did them in a half/semi deep set would probably be tops now that you bring up that! and true, if there is an issue with them down the road i will do my damndest to find it lol. Thank you for watching dave
That capri set is very nice
Be safe on your way home brandon
thank you antonio, yeah roads were bit shitty but luckily i dont live all too far from work, but this set definitely holding up nicely so far. thank you as always for watching!
@@BeardedSeabee82 bought me a set from your link bro appreciate the videos
Nice tools sir. I hope to pick up a sunex set myself

looks like a handy set great video brother as always
been really good set so far dan, thank you as always for watching!
i scored a mastercraft 12 drawer toolbox last week and 2 car loads full of tools and stuff still have to go through all the bins of things i got
i got a real nice proto lady slipper and their is a few snap on things that i have seen so far
I've got a gear wrench set and they look the same.

I bought the set used it on a brake job on a captive destroy three of them the 14 18 and 19 warranty was easy but the sockets aren't holding up
With a user name like yours, well, jason, nice try... better luck next time
Great video Brandon
Good video bud, turn off the auto focus on your camera and you will get better results. On many cameras this feature is abit over active.
Capri has standard hex sockets and advanced. Is there a difference? I believe it’s around $10 more besides the marketing i can’t see much else.

HOW they working out so far (they seem to be very WIDE) - compared to others they are narrower.
Theyve been working out well here past few weeks for sure. They are a little bit wider than the snap on ones (but look at price difference) but do believe they are as wideas/similar to the ones matco/gearwrench make.
