I partied with Jason after a show in Cleveland in 2004 . It was them and The Sword (opened) and another band . The show was killer . . I hope he is taking better care of himself LOL . Touring is tough and if you party it's tougher LOL . He was worried he would delay the bus . I told him before I left the after party I would drive him back but he declined and gave me a hug . Glad to see him still at it . We had a good conversation over many pints lol .

They look fairly bored playing this, considering how rockin' the song is
It's a fairly long song with a lot of complex notes being played at once, over and over again, then dramatically changing. You can't blame them for wanting to concentrate.
They look so emotionless it's depressing. They look like their just going through the motions, no feeling or passion. Almost like they don't even like the song.
You could say the same about classical musicians in an orchestra; they look bored, but the emotion is there.
You clearly haven't recorded music. They are in the zone required for such a task.
After hundreds (more likely thousands) of times of playing a song, I imagine anyone might struggle to maintain that initial passion or intensity... Especially in the absence of a good crowd to reciprocate the band's energy.
The guitarist on the right Kevin Allen looks nervous, hungover... on drugs. Something in the first 20 seconds of this all blinking and such.

Kevin had left the band at this point. Losing him was a big mistake and as far as I know they never properly replaced him.
